All jokes aside, I really love Fabian's Dance teacher. I know much of the reason she has positive interactions with him is because Lou rolls so well, but I really like that Brennan had her bring up that hearing Fabian was living alone and such this year was alarming/upsetting. It feels like she could be a teacher that Fabian could rely on for out of class support like Fig & Zara, Gorgug & Henry, and Kristen & Yolanda
Episode 7 was the first time I've seen an episode and wanted to immediately rewatch it, and that's how most episodes of juniro year have felt to me. The comedic timing is perfect.
Adaine actually has a super simple solution to her money problem. Just do the oracle thing, but charge them some amount of gold pieces. Basically like a psychic but being the oracle it would be more credible. It’s weird to me that her first thought was to work at food places. Not even mentioning the magic she can do. I feel like what happened is the same thing that happens to a lot of bright individuals when they enter the workforce, tunnel vision on paying the bills. It’s why some really smart people work at some very low paying jobs. Self esteem issues, coupled with the overwhelming reality of what life is outside of school can be paralyzing to some. It’s something I’m glad to see them touching on here.
It's a really good point you've made. Also, I know it's a low hanging solution from a storytelling perspective... but surely Fabian could just pay for Adaine's spell components!? I guess that's going to be a thing they're all working toward this series it's asking for help more, but still... I mean Fabian canonically has so much money, surely this would occur to her or him!?
@@Limubi1 Adaine purposefully hid the fact that she was struggling from Fabian specifically in one of the episodes, though I don't know if since she and Fabian have canonically talked about
@@JJsNotHomeManIt does seem like he knows about her money struggles, given when that gold coin fell out of Gilear's hair in the most recent episode, Fabian's the one who initially said to give it to Adaine.
Wasn’t sure if it was 8-bit Book Club episode, but there was also a Mighty Ducks quote that also always made Emily tear up when thinking about it as a kid. So it does line up 😂
fig really is the perfect paladin of cassandra with her approach of like - i've seen a god choke on a shrimp allergy and i still don't know that i can believe in them in that way but my friend believes in them and i believe in my friend. It's doubt and faith embodied.
The first bit with Ally is so funny if you are a NADDPOD fan and know that Emily loves Might Ducks lmao The way she claps in excitement gets me everytime.
I don't have dropout so I can't be too sure but I think Rat Grinders declared the Bad Kids as their sworn enemies on the first day of freshman year. Now, they're trying to kick the Bad Kids down through the school presidency. So I think the Rat Grinders started it, but the Bad Kids do bring another level of intensity that isn't totally necessary but very entertaining
I don’t know if this was said already but the character Kristen did have doubts towards their religion in worship is Sol and sexuality which was a whole plot point (more so the religious aspect then sexuality) and that doubt of course was well warned and led to an escape of it
"fine, i'll just let the future happen like some asshole" caught me soo off guard. I was not ready for the nihilst smoothie elf

a big part of the reason i have such a huge crush on ally is that i never know what the hell they're talking about

Real "hmm?" Energy
This is a powerful comment.

Not to mention this is the second/first character to enjoy American western attire (Pete the Plug wore a cowboy hat and vest if I'm not mistaken?).

Brennan is going to get Fig eventually with that agent and that is going to be one of the most chaotic interactions of the season.

She’s so agro every time
“kristen, your adult man is being weird!” is a line siobhan did NOT get enough credit for
I think siobhan has a lot of lines like those that for whatever reason either get overshadowed by the current bit or ignored.

Ally is uncontested in impulsive quotes.

The fact that everyone covers for Kristen immediately just makes me so happy i love these little idiots.

Gorgug walking out mid convo to return with a shrimp burrito is everything.
Fabian doing everything not to be home alone so real
