Way back when Clinto was running for his second term, I was set to vote for Clinton. At the mass right before Election Day, I was corrected! In his sermon the priest admonished us to vote our Catholic conscience. Oh! And the priest spoke about issues at play, including abortion. I was a convert, with just one year of being a confirmed Catholic. So, I voted for Bob Dole! This actually made sense to me. I have never regretted changing my vote.
Vote blue and avoid an interment camp out in the desert. First to be sent, will be Catholics. Remember Maximillan Kolby in Poland. During WWII. EWTN has a short memory.
@david; You are one of those liberal voters that have your hand outstretched every year illegally receiving “free grant” money that the rest of us pays for.
@@JoellHedges-dm1mu I am just one of those old fashioned Catholics who voted for Kennedy in 1960...you remember him, a Democrat and a Catholic. Maybe you are not old enough to remember the U.S. in the 1950's. Viet Nam war, the space program, civil rights movement, voting rights for blacks and the atomic bomb crisis, and let us not forget the red menace...communism.
I wish the Cardinal had better explained un answer to the first question why most of the usccb affirms abortion is preeminent issue...the number, in the sacred intimacy of the family
The only thing missing in Burke's appearance is a red baseball cape, saying "make america great again" and Kenneth Copeland wearing his flag jacket with his hand on Burke's shoulder urging him on. Lacrosse, Wi will go democratic in 2024. Poor Burke. He may have to move out of town, I dont know if he can live among Democrats.
"Moral and cultural decline and decay." Sounds like 45. As a devout Catholic, I cannot vote for a man who most resembles the devil. I will vote for Kamala despite her public policy position being in conflict with my faith. That she is decent and truthful mostky will be enough for me. God bless our struggling nation.
It sounds like you don’t know your own faith. A faithful Catholic cannot vote for a candidate that wants abortion on demand. Kamala Harris was the SAME Senator who went after judicial nominees who were members of the Knights of Columbus.
Imagine if the Jews were asked by the Romans to elect a new leader after Jesus was arrested. And the only options they had were Judas Iscariot and the flawed Peter. We know whom Jesus chose to lead His Church - flaws and all.
Peter's flaws are puny compared to 45's. The more apt comparison is 45 and the devil. Both use deceit and lies to gain followers. Wake up before it's too late, my friends.
Beautifully spoken by Cardinal Burke. May God bless him and our Blessed Mother Mary protect him

@david, what “non-government”, (so-called “Administrative”) wasteful office do you work for?
