Hi, what an impressive recipe! If I want to try it, I am confused about the measurements of cashew -- there is 1 cup and then there is another 1/2 of a cup. If it means 1 1/2 cup? Why separated then? Also, could I use a regular oven to dehydrate it since I do not own a dehydrator? Thank you!
I would like to know what brand dehydrator you use or recommend. I am new to learning to eat raw and I would like to get the right products to make these recipes that you make look so good.
I have had my TSM dehydrator for ~ 10 years and am very happy with it. I shopped around because I didn't like all the plastic on the other popular brands. At the time I purchased my TSM, I corresponded with the company and confirmed that the steel used in it was made in the U.S. The unit was (presumably still is) made in the U.S. (not China). Instead of Teflex sheets, which I am not entirely confident are a healthful choice, I use unbleached cooking parchment to cover the stainless steel trays and put the raw ingredients on. I bought the 5-tray unit. They also make a 10-tray version. www.amazon.com/TSM-Products-Stainless-Dehydrator-Shelves/dp/B002UUT4BY/ref=psdc_1090752_t2_B001E6S592
hey im just wonderings if using chia egg or flaxegg would work as good as Psylium husk^ would it bind think as well together or not enough for making dough^
o_O Mind officially blown! Wow, Russel! :) I'm thinking about turning this into a chocolate version, cherry jam, topped with a cacao ganache... I'll serve it this Christmas as our "Bûche de Noël"!! Any suggestion on how much cacao should be added to the cake base for a nice, deep chocolate taste? 1/3 cup?! Thanks so much! Vx
This looks good, thanks for posting. I'm going to try this tonight. I just turned vegan a few months ago & within the past few weeks transitioned to raw. A question i really want to know is what you think about eating raw artichoke? Do you eat it yourself? Is it something you think is healthy? If so, can you please post a video of how best to incorporate it into a smoothie, make a dip or how you eat it raw by itself. Thanks & all the best to you.
It is great that you are vegan. Just a word of experience, raw food is great but it should be only a part of your diet. A tasty and comforting vegan, whole plant based food diet, with a high volume of raw when appropriate is the key to stay a life-long vegan. So many people go vegan raw only to turn into carnists again in few years because they got fed up, or do not see the benefits and satisfaction from this raw diet.
@@therawchef In France people eat raw purple artichokes mixed with salad. They eat the heart of it and it is delicious !! They tend to be small artichokes.
It's not. I'm not the 100% raw guy. I will include some non raw ingredients because to me raw is a means to an end (being healthy) not the end itself. For example, I now won't tell people to eat raw grains. I'd much rather use those cooked, because it's healthier. Same for things like chickpeas. If someone has trouble digesting chickpeas raw - which is most people - I'd like to be more pragmatic and listen to that information, and adjust accordingly. If that means I'm not sticking to 100% raw in my teaching, I see that as wanting the best for my subscribers, because it's based on truth, not an ideological stand about the rules of a diet.
Erythritol is a raw and natural from plants sweetener, so that’s what I would suggest using. Or ‘MarkusSweet’ which is a blend of Monk-fruit and Erythritol for a beautiful natural raw sugar substitute.
I finally made it🤗 it’s absolutely delicious. Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for sharing this awesome recipe🌱🐝❤️
Love this recipe, thanks for sharing about psyllium/husks as being an excellent holding ingredient.
that looks yummy. bty I know its professional but I love your kitchen setup, everything is out and so bright.
Thank you for this magic of the raw food

Loved the Swiss roll! I’d also like to see how you would present the dish also.
Just simple for this one, with some xylitol sprinkled on top and maybe some ice-cream too.
You are soooo good Russell... I wish I would have the money to follow your courses & become a raw chef also... my dream... 💞
Awesome thanks for sharing
Thank you for this recipe, it looks so good! Can you substitute the xylitol for raw coconut sugar? Thanks!
You can, but it will affect the colour
Very gourmet
Looks yummy
Very interesting to watch
Thanks
Glad you found it useful :)

So beautiful. Wish to see more videos ^__^
In the description it says soaked and rinsed cashews but in the video they are dry. So which way should we do it please?
You can use either, but I suggest using soaked for nutritional reasons
Nice,
Where can i get the Recipe?
Madeline
Hey Madeline, there's a link in the description :)

I've never tried raw artichoke.

Where can I find the recipe for the coconut manna?
We’ll be posting the recipes here in a little while. Coconut manna is just coconut butter
Oh, that's great Russel! Thanks :)
yummy
;)
Link on raw course does not work.
Thanks for pointing that out, we're fixing it now :)

Did you get younger on your most recent videos? :)
Haha, I think camera and filter technology got better :)

@@therawchef makes sense. Should put “mostly raw” or something in your titles so it’s not too click-bait.

@@GOzoRAW that doesn’t answer about xylitol which was in my original question.
Also, xylitol is used as a supplement to make people poop.
All looks great but measurements, please!!!
Hey Kathi, you can find the recipes in the link below the video :)
I can’t use nuts😒
That what you're cutting isn't the same roll you've rolled up...🙄 and it is obvious by the center of the roll...
It's common practise in videos to have one already made so it can be cut without keeping everyone waiting for the one I just made to set.
