Yanking cars is what he does because somebody has to do it. He's a hard working no nonsense professional doing dangerous and physically demanding work in hot and humid Atlanta. Lucky for him, his job will always be secure because there are plenty of irresponsible people who (1) haven't read their lease so they don't know the rules, (2) don't obey rules or laws anyway, (3) don't care for their cars, (4) leave their broken down cars jacked-up in the parking lot, (5) leave their "slap burned-up" car in the parking lot, (6) don't register their cars because they probably don't have insurance either, (7) park where they shouldn't, or (8) have no comprehension about what a warning sticker means. Even calling a non-emergency law enforcement number has always had someone answer immediately. Stay safe man, too many "difficult" people out there...I get that the police may be busy; how unfortunate...however....two things1) property owners should do the utmost due dillegenge in dealing with client cars before calling the towing company (to avoid assaults on drivers and violence on the property) 2) property owners should have a representative present during the tow; again to mitigate problems.
    Not sure of the intricacies of the towing contracts with property owner; however property owner has an obligation to manage the property for a number of reasons. Assaults on all persons( including tow personnel) have negative ramifications on their liability insurance as well as gaining a bad reputation for safety and order on the property. Lastly, with that, just because a towing company will carry liability/medical insurance (hopefully) for their drivers, the property owner should shoulder part of the risk as well - since if the property is negligent in their due diligence, they contribute to the peril to the tow operator (why should the tow company insurance rates go up because of negligent properties??) Property owners should not complain either - its called the price of doing business😒 ... I'm just sayin...

      @indianaslim4971 2 роки тому

      While I agree with the majority of your comment I have to disagree with your concept of due diligence. As a 66 year old who has never owned a home virtually every complex I've lived at has stated verbally in the leasing process all of the rules and consequences relating to cars and parking before lease is signed, a couple even required the renter to put their initials next to the particular paragraph. Once the renter signs that legally binding contract the diligence shifts from the complex to the renter and it's not up to them to investigate whether or not the car is registered, all they can see is the expired tag, to use a modified Johnnyism.." We rent apartments.. it's what we do"

      @@michaelfreitag7657 Of course it is, my point is that we don't know what the profit margin is at his specific company and for anyone to suggest that company cut their profits in half is irresponsible without knowing the fiscal state of the company. Your suggestion as meaningful as it is doesn't consider the consequences of the company going out of business leaving Johnny and his fellow workmates unemployed. Too often in America people don't consider the long range implications, a perfect example is when the Republican president Nixon opened trade with China with the promise of a new market opening for American goods to be sold and now the majority of durable goods say "made in China" instead of America, we played the short game while they played the long game and are losing the middle class while China's middle class is growing daily.
