Did you only do one coat and what is the difference between the ZEP wet look and normal wax? We have been trying to use wax on the floors like this at work but it never stays looking good longer than a day, but when we use wax on the tile floors it looks great for a long time. I know this is an older video so I hope you see this.
Good Jib Bro,,, but don't skip on the quality products,, a few more pennies for the good stuff and do Clients will love you for it,,, Arriba La Raza!!!!
Your splashing the base boards. Use a diffrrent method such as a squeeze type 24oz bottle instead of pouring it from the gallon. You will have more control and less waste. Keep up the good work.
Is it some acrylic gloss finish Jacob ? how long does it lasts ??? i have tried once acrylic as a test and it was coming off really easily so i dumped it and only use polyurathene based or polycarbonate ....
Zep product no good I did it and it leaves sun glare and fades to quick and your pouring product on floor messes up paint on walls next time use a bucket or tray.
Pretty much the same process but instead of using a floor stripper to remove the old wax, you use a neutral floor cleaner to scrub the floor clean to prep for laying down the wax. Keep in mind that you'll have to do a top scrub and recoat once a year to remove top layer of dirt build up and maintain shine. Every a couple of years, you'll want to do a full strip and wax..
Excellent Job Jacob. Hey, you don't have any issues with the laminate edges, when they get too wet? just floor stripper (brand preference?) and just the zap. how much for sq.ft. if you don't mind to share. what did you use for hardwood?
the floors had some kind of wax already on it so had to take it off. the floors also were alre4ady damaged so a hard wax on it helped to cover up damage. normally I would just use a laminate and wood cleaner and then mop on bona when im done cleaning
So can you just mop up the old wax with the a microfiber mop after you scrub the stripper? I notice some people use an extractor. I don’t have one of those.
So you'll use a mop and you will moped it at least 3 times. and then you'll moped it again as if you where laying down a was because it will give you the indication of what it will look like if you put a wax or a sealer on it
I have laminate floor in my new home can we rent a buffer and use the red colored pad to remove wax buildup and finish, then stain a darker color? if yes then what finishe can I use on laminate for a satin finish?
.No you cant stain it if its laminate- Real wood can be stained but false woods are actually printed plastic- If you give it a good gloss polish it will look allot richer in color, that might be closer to what you are looking for.
rudango23 idk much aboit floors but from experience on heavy grease... try a magic eraser with ivory dish washing soap. maybe with a small scraper out of plastic you can gently remove the paint drops after you leave the soap on there for a bit do not use too much water withthe spong try it just withghe soap.
You can use a type of floor stripper use gotta make sure the dilutions is more water than stripper because you don't want to make a big mess And it all depends on what the condition for the floor is and because by looking at his video the floors were not in bad shape they were just Dole he don't need to use a lot
Audio bad. Difficult to hear voice over stripper. Time lapse would have been great. Too much time watching you mop. What wax product did you use. What about upkeep? Wash? Rewax.? Floor looks great wet. Dry.? Not very helpful.
Spraying wax stripper from a pump up sprayer is a disaster waiting to happen. READ the label, wax stripper will remove or discolor paint. Also using a floor scrubber without a splash skirt is extremely amateur.

Neutro cleaner chemical a scrubber and the right stripping pad it's all you need

Ahlam Dekaidek I can't remember exactly but it was 55 cents a foot but the job was like 450.00

No burnishing?
That's floor heavy duty shine/gloss typically on commercial properties but he could of through a white pad on same machine to polish this in
