    Great cleaning, only thing I see a carpet cleaner myself, you move all over the place, walking through where you already have done. We always work from back of room to the door. So everything is covered and we aren’t walking our shoes through already cleaned area.
    Apart from that, phenomenal results:)

    Looks nice bro however I do see one problem with that method, in the beginning you scrub the dirty carpet with that machine and after the carpet has been cleaned your using the same dirty machine to groom it, do you see the problem? Unless you cleaned the brush otherwise you're putting all that dirt back in there.

    We used a rotovac on one job. Then it went in the shed next to the oreck orbital, 2 different brands of hydro force sprayers, and the rest of the gizmos we regret buying. A good wand, appropriate prespray, 2 gal pump sprayer, and a grandi groom is good for 99.995% of carpet. Spinner and green/black push broom for 99.998% of tile. If a gadget isn't saving you time then it ain't worth shit.edit: oh I love your diesel heater video at the restaurant. Now that one's looking good

    I've been using the Whitaker for 19 years, but I've never seen this little version before. It would be great for spot cleaning, but bigger room sizes, I would go with the big machine. Have you thought about that? Their triple brush machine is a beast!!!

    Once Upon a Time had a big idea I bought a rotovac cfx package and try to make it work for a couple years butt I realized I didn't like working inside people's houses just something about being inside a house you have to be very very careful some people have lots of stuff that you can bump into anyways I sold the package I like working outside better if anybody is watching these videos thinking about being a carpet cleaner also it's not as easy as you think and you should get a job at a carpet cleaning company to see if you like it before you spend all that money

      Joe talk about a run on sentence!

    • @turbo-seal189
      @turbo-seal189 7 років тому +14

      Joe has been disillusioned. I've been cleaning over 30 years starting with a portable then on to three different truck mounts. Rotary extraction method as well as tile and grout now own three portables and the beast truck mount doing all kinds of work at age 60.
      I still love to get outside and garden for fun and relaxation. By the way even after I broke a $350 antique pitcher, ruined a flacatti wool area rug and a cotton chenille sofa sectional, two customers stiffed me over $2800 I stuck it out and loving it still.

    You should groom with a manual brush to stroke the nap one way. CRB just makes more work and still leaves the pointed strokes of light dark shading where traffic lane soils can be hidden so you don't really know if you've got the carpet cleaned because of the opposing nap angle. One fast stroke from an 18" brush makes pure magic.

      Turbo-Seal cacoserrado

    • @MicahFunk
      @MicahFunk 6 років тому +1

      Turbo-Seal you are right on point. You can use the plastic rake or broom much faster than lugging another costly machine around. Better looking results too. Additionally you want the carpet to dry standing up, not with strokes of it pressed down. It helps extend the carpet life.
      Remember, just because there's a new tool that is expensive and looks pretty doesn't mean that it is actually a good tool to use.

    Nothing beats the crb/rotovac combo for the really nasty ones but it takes time so 9 out of 10 jobs the rotovac stays on the van and 5 out of 10 so does the crb. The rake is my best friend!

    I know the CRB does a great job on agitation, but if you have already agitated the carpet, why would you need another brush head on the 360i? Why not just extract with a wand? And do your customers actually prefer the "sharks tooth" look for grooming as apposed to just a grooming brush? Just curious.

    why prescrub when using the rotovac with scrubbing head? its overkill. plus using the CrB to groom, is also useless, just wearing out the CRB fo rno real reason, its easier to groom with a rake.

    Does any of these carpet cleaners clean in a symmetrical fashion or do they all start in the middle of the rug and just go all over the place?
    I would start from one end and end up on the other end so that I make sure I hit every piece of carpet.
    It looks like it came out well though.

    I'm looking to have 2 rooms cleaned (a 10 ft by 10 ft bedroom and a 20 ft by 20 ft master bedroom) that has some darker areas and some black stains in the high traffic parts. I used a Bissell Pro Heat cleaner with Woolite cleaner to clean some of it and the black spots and some of the darker color came out, so it's not too extreme as what's in this video or in some of the videos I've seen on carpet cleaning. My question is, what would be a reasonable price to clean these 2 rooms?? I contacted a local company, but haven't gotten a reply yet as I used their contact form on their site just now. Thanks.

    • @CleaningServiceProLLC
      @CleaningServiceProLLC  7 років тому

      John Thorpe it really depends. different companies charge different prices for the process and the higher grade chems. As for the cleaning in the video its a deep cleaning. I charge more for this type of cleaning. a basic cleaing pre sprey and stem with a wand would be 25 a room . if the rooms are larger then 200 sq feet there is more cost. most carpet cleaners have a minimum charge to cover gas, chems, insurance, tools, maintance, labor etc. for this house in the vid I charged 35 a room 3 ups stairs 3 down stairs and 35 for the stairs it came out to. 245.00. if you did it your self youl will save some money but make sure to use a neutralize the carpet after using any kind of cleaning solution on them or they will get dirty very quickly.

    • @john_thorpe
      @john_thorpe 7 років тому

      Thanks for the quick reply. I understand that each company is different, as I said I contacted/emailed a local company, but since it's late at night, they are closed at the moment. Was just trying to see roughly what it would cost, I.E.: under $100 for both or more like $250 or more for both rooms. Just trying to get a rough idea. The small bedroom is around 100 to at *most* 125 sq ft., the master would be closer to the 200 sq ft mark.So far I've used the Woolite Pet consumer grade cleaner that took most of the dirt up, however when the carpet dries it still has a little dirt in the high traffic areas. I've just recently tried some Zep High Traffic carpet cleaner in a small square, it's still in the process of drying, so not sure if it's helped any. I'm wondering if a professional/steam clean would clean it and do it without costing a few hundred for just 2 bedrooms all totaling around 250 to 300 sq ft.
