This is the moment where everyone said Rock Lee was their favourite character
But later we never see him again so we basically forget him
yeah true . But people still love him . This fight gave me goosebumps every 2-3 minutes and I didn't take my eyes off even for a moment . This fight also convinced many people to watch Naruto . I have heard so much stories about people who started watching Naruto only because of this fight

Lee can use 8 gates and have surpassed gai sensei..shikamaru is lot smarter now so I don't know where you got the idea that they get nerf..

For me, their fight was the most astounding and most memorable in all of anime!

The part where the music just hits you after the weight drop. It's amazing.
It’s actually really cool hearing both the English and Japanese at the same time. Naruto is one of the few anime where I think the dub is as good as the sub.

One of my proudest moments of all time as an anime fan, was as a kid, catching on to Gaara's escape before it was explained by Kakashi.

I never noticed this before but the brief moment when Lee winced in pain is when Gaara subbed himself with a sand clone. It lasted less than a second. Damn.
