So maybe judge him by this season when the cupboard is stacked with more talent, but they are still going up against SEC defenses all season remember.

I think Lincoln screwed him. They were undefeated with Spencer, had multiple comebacks this past season with him, and then Caleb comes in, no matter how "electrifying" he was.. they finished with 2 losses that were because of Caleb. Makes you think how that season would've went if they stayed with Spencer.. most likely would've won out. but I am convinced as soon as Lincoln knew he was leaving, he was looking for an opportunity to throw Caleb out there to see what he could do, so he would know whether or not he should get him to come with him to USC or not. Spencers benching was of no consequence to Lincoln, he probably figured "has 2 years of eligibility left.. if he gets benched this year he can regain his reputation elsewhere."

I really hope that spencer learned something from his time in Oklahoma. In high school and in college Spencer has always been a little too high and mighty to the point where his teammates don’t like him.
