This program now has the capacity to assign math functions to variables in the variables code block. For more in depth info check out the guide on steam.
Hi LT. I have no experience whatsoever with scripting and have been absolutely captivated by your Easy Automation since discovering it a few days ago. Thanks for all of the hard work you have put into this. So far I am just tinkering around (pardon the pun) and I think I have got the general gist of things (still to get into the "ifs" and "else's). But there is one problem that I have encountered that I am hoping you can help me to resolve. I have set up a series of actions with pistons, drills, a rotor and a warning light but I also want to include an alarm on a sound block. The problem is that I can only find ways to control the alarm by turning the sound block OnOff at the appropriate moments. The problem with that is that when it is turned off, the time loop just pauses at its current position and continues with the countdown from that position the next time it turned On. Until eventually, the time loop comes to an end and it need to be re-started. What I would prefer to happen is at the appropriate time I could set the sound block to "Play", which actually re-sets the time loop after it has been stopped. However, as "Play" and "Stop" are not an option in the sound block properties, I am at a loss as to how I can resolve my dilemma. Am I missing something? Is there a solution or am I stuck with the problem? Cheers
I'm searching for a power helper but there are fluxing variable in the power there are 2 to 3 maybe 4 variables there is power usage and power production any time the power usage gos higher then power production or power production gos lower then power usage it discharges the batteries if the over all power on the batteries is 5% it shuts down most every thing and turns on back up power ( can it do that? )
Hey does this script allow adding and subtraction of variable values, I read your steam tutorial and I didn't see anything about it, but I wanted to see If you had any advice to go about doing something like this.
This script does not have the ability to assign values to variables during run time. It can use the values of properties and Detailed info that can change during run time but It dose not have the capacity to do math or assign the result of math to a variable.
I was referred to this video to learn how to making a walker in space engineers, forgive my lack of programming knowledge but most of this kind of went over my head is there a Tutorial around, that just deals with the walker type stuff, seems like you know what you are doing maybe you have a video and I'm just not finding it
I don't have any videos on how to make walkers currently. Although it might be fun to make one. If you learn this script then making a walker will become much easier. There is a link to the steam guide in the description if you want to play around with it. :)
Why aren't there more views and likes on this. This is brilliant!
I was looking to see if we can use Easy Automation v2 to change LCD text and background colors. We can! But there's no info on how to do it.
Thanks man, i hope the next update keen fixes all the explosive stuff if going on so i can dig into this, it expands the script alot.
That's a great mod. Thank you for your work!
