It's impressive to me that the Garcello mod introduced a character, killed him off just about 5 minutes later, and established his personality well enough that people still felt incredibly sad to see him die. That's some solid writing.
And it's made by a fat fetish artist! Not that it's relevant...
vs. Whitty - I should clarify that the final song in this mod is the one that's bullshit difficult. The other two are reasonably difficult.
The Trollge Files - Sure, it's based on a now dead meme, but I think it still holds up.
Starlight Mayhem - Specifically the old version. The reboot isn't that great.
vs. Agoti - I don't have much to say about this one. It's good, it's a classic, it's basically a must-play if you wanna get into the FNF modding community.
I mean whitty final song isn't bullcrap diff anymore, new ver has an actual chart rather than jacks spam
I'd also recommend Indie cross, Very high quality mod that has difficulty options. It has mechanics and while I think the mechanics enhances the weeks if you're having too much trouble with them you can disable them so you can still play them. Another is the Hex robot mod which is pretty easy with no mechanics and has some good songs too.(There's also mario madness V2, Tricky V2, Sonic,exe V2 etc but those are really hard) Also would love to see him finish the hit single mod.

I feel its important to note that the trollge files is insanely difficult and there is no way in hell phill can beat it.

Phil genuinely getting into FnF wasn't on my bingo card. But I'm very excited for when he sees all actually good mods (the more they sound like a meme - the better they are).
Speaking of which, Mid-Fight Masses is another old favorite of mine, I think it'll be good for your current level.

I have a genuine really deep appreciation for the Vs Impostor mod. It STARTED OUT as a shtpost, yknow, riffing off of all the postironic among us memes, sussy baka and all
But after those major updates it became way more appreciative of the game itself, because beyond the memes Among Us is still a really solid game that people care for and this mod changed to also reflect this! It has a buncha songs in a buncha different settings that all reference things in the game, its got an unlock system simmilar to how you unlock cosmetics in the actual game.. and most suprisingly geniuentlly some moving and funny stuff, not even basing themselves off of the memes
Please please please check it out, its really really good.
Also I really reccomend D-sides! It has a lot of love put into it and its reimagnings of characters too, its more than jsut a remix + redesign mod, its seriouslly GREAT stuff!

Here are nine mods I recommend (I 100% recommend only 7/9 of them):
Doki Doki Takeover - (pretty good mod and decently long)
DDTO Bad Ending ^ (you should probably wait to play this one since it's pretty hard and note-spammy for some parts of the songs but still pretty good songs)
Vs. Hex - (this one is really good and should be pretty easy)
Vs. Tricky - (kinda difficult but fun and manageable and if needed you can just tone down the difficulty for... some songs)
Indie Cross - (fucking YES, this is a MUST PLAY but it's pretty long and difficult so it'll probably take up a bit of time, might need it's own stream if you plan on trying to finish everything ngl. also don't worry if you ahve trouble with mechanics or something cause there's an option to change the difficulty for the charting and mechanics separately and it was nerfed so you should be fine)
Hotline 024 - (may be a demo but it feels finished, I hyperfixated on this mod for a LONG time and I still love it, can't stop replaying some of the songs and I'd love to see you play it. also it's pretty much a love letter to the fnf community)
Hypno's Lullaby - (peak, fucking P E A K. It is a bit difficult, especially some of the mechanics but if you get stuck or have too much trouble with em you can just turn them off completely (pussy mode) so other than that it's peak, mechanics are fun, songs are fire, it's amazing. but be warned I think there's no difficulty setting for charting)
Vs. Whitty - (now this one... yikes. I mean it's alright I guess but the third song is pretty much bullshit)
Ok hear me out of this next one...
Vs. Sonic.exe - (HERE ME OUT! dude ok look, the week may be a bit difficult and you cant progress without completing it on hard BUT after you get through the first song, the banger second song, the *cough cough* eight minute long third song *cough* the other songs you can find after doing the week are pretty good and worth working hard to do)
That's pretty much it. All I have to say is... Do. NOT. Play. Dave N Bambi.

Phil, you MUST play Graffiti Groovin, Friday Night Fever and Hotline024. Hotline024 and Graffiti Groovin are like siblings but GG is a complete mod! And a fun fact, the creator of Hotline024 works on the main game now! Friday Night Fever is a large one mod. It contains content that could last more than 2 hours and has fully animated cutscenes with voice acting! Even PhantomArcade(main artist of FNF) loves it! These are my fav 3, hope this helps!

It is absolutely criminal how I haven't seen anyone suggest FNF Troubleshootin'. It's an awesome OC mod that's still updating to this day.
Also Hotline024 isn't finished yet, but it still has a crap-ton of amazing content. Tho it is pretty challenging.
Some recommendations from me would be Characteristic Disparity, B3, Boo! Don't Get Spooked, and VS Void.

Fun little fact, the main music creator for Vs. Cassette Girl (and a few other mods), Saruky, is now the official Co Producer for the official game.
Fun Fact, in the files for the original Vs Garcello mod, there was a picture of his ghost getting GHOST MCDONALDS. Also, the creators of Garcello started with the idea of the opponent just... Dying mid-week. They originally intended it to be funny, but that didn't exactly pan out.

So, here's a list of some of the mods you should play:
-Clover's Cave In: Made by Garcello's co-creator, it's a really high quality mod that's really underated
-Hotline 024: Also really good, even if it's unfinished
-Mario Funk Mix: Based on mario for the NES, fun mario mod without any creepypasta bullshit
-RodentRap: Quick little Sonic oneshot, very fun
-DSides: Remixes for the base game songs mainly
-FNF Neo: Similar to DSides but with different aesthetic and vibes
-Vs Tricky: A hard Madness Combat mod
-Vs Hex: One of the OG mods, relatively chill (at least the first week)
-Indie Cross: One of the bet mods out there, absolutely stunning quality and animation ,as well as good songs and mechanics
-Vs Impostor: Despite being an amongus mod, it's very good. A bit on the harder side tho
-Vs Mann Co: Tf2 Mod, what more is there to say?
-Trollege Files: Very hard, so leave this one for later. Also long-ish
-Marios Madness V2: Surprisingly good despite it's theme, but it's also relatively hard
-Vs GOREFIELD: Yet another huge creppypasta collab mod that's surprisingly good
-Hypno's Lullaby: And the creppypasta mds just keep coming! From the creator of vs Tricky
-Seek's Cool Deltarune Mod: Mix of random deltarune themed songs, from canon to fanmade stuff
-Doki Doki Takeover: Very long but very good. Recomended if you like the original DDLC
-Doki Doki Takeover: BAD ENDING: Play AFTER the original DDT
-Vs Agoti: Another old mod, very good one

...I'm still processing the fact that Mr. Phil Phisnom of the Toxic Cesspit streamed FNF mods and unironically enjoyed them.
If you told me this a year ago, I would've thought it was all a fever dream.
Also there's a lot of great Mario FNF mods, but I'd recommend either Infernal Bout (vs. Bowser) or Super Funkin' Galaxy. Both of them are nostalgia incarnate to Mario fans with a reasonable intermediate difficulty.
FNF Neo, FNF D-Sides, FNF B3 and Seek's Cool Deltarune Mod are all good mods that I'd recommend that you look into playing. The first three are reskin/remix mods with a lot of passion behind them to make them unique!

You should try RondentRap, it's a it's a really nice and short Sonic mod, it's also pretty easy so you probably won't have any problem with that.
And there's even a gallery at the end, so if that doesn't convince you idk what will.
Very good stream! Twinsomnia and Hazy River are peak mods! Cassette girl was cool too! Glad to see you’re getting better at FNF, very nice! Some mods I recommend are Indie Cross, and also Mario Madness, a Mario.exe mod that also has some pretty cool normal Mario songs! I also recommend Rodentrap, a classic sonic mod that’s pretty neat!
If you want more silly mods, I’d recommend either Vs Sunday Remastered or Vs Stickman, I don’t remember terms of difficulty, but they both have ghosts tapping so you should be good :)

Hey Phil, one mod I think that you would enjoy is "Seek's cool deltarune mod", as you can guess from the name, it's, well, a deltarune mod, it has been getting update after update for the past 2 years now, Seek has put a lot of love into it, not only are the animations charming, but the songs themselves are really fun and each one has a gimmick. If you do decide to play it, know that it's a mod with quite a lot of songs, and several of them are in freeplay instead of being their own week, so it might very well be a full stream mod
This was a really fun stream and just goes to show how much effort and love were put into some of these mods.
And yes even the most stupid sounding mods have a insane amount of effort put into them.
I can recommend these:
vs. Whitty Definitive Edition - the boy whitty himself after, there are easier difficulties so you should be fine!
Indie Cross - My personal favourite but it is getting a big update this year so it may be better to wait for it but if not, the game is hard but it has easier difficulties and you can change the settings to turn off the mechanics during weeks so no replaying whole weeks to change the difficulty (but it's cool to check them out atleast)
The Trollge Files - This mod is insanely hard but it for some reason it's lore is so good it's fun to just watch how the botplay plays and watch the work and the lore progress but I know you may not check it out then but who knows I can recommend
vs. Entity - Very cool mod, just this:p
Seek's Cool Deltarune Mod - It has easier difficulties and is pretty fun if youre an deltarune fan
Ofc there are some more like Doki Doki Takeover and Troubleshootin' but I don't know what to say about them
All of these (except trollge files) have easier difficulties so you should be fine and are a pearls in the community! Indie Cross is my fav, Trollge Files may be the second and DDTO the third

For a while, I thought the community cared more about the game than the actual developers. Of course that opinion changed, but it’s still really cool to see this game get modded like this.
You absolutely HAVE to play Indie Cross, real high quality mod where boyfriend travels to different indie worlds from popular indie games. Just a quick suggestion however, play on either normal or easy (hard would be too difficult for beginners). Also if you can't handle the extra mechanics (for example notes you can't hit or else you take damage), then you can easily turn them off on the story mode menu or the free play menu.
Another Mod I suggest playing is Rodentrap, very cool Sonic adventure inspired mod (that includes lyrics!!!).

Mario madness v2 is really high quality. But it has a lot of mechanics and I think there is no difficulty setting. So that’s definitely a in the future one. Unless dying a few times and letting bot play carry you through the whole mod sounds fun (probably doesn’t)
2:02:04 mario's madness is genuinely an INSANELY high effort mod, and i would absolutely say that it's on par with, if not genuinely just better, than twinsomnia imo. it also has a bunch of non-"exe" stuff, so i wouldnt necessarily say it's just a mario exe mod
Neo, Arrow funk, Bsides redux and Dsides are all really good mods that remix the songs from the og game 🤞
Ok so my suggestion would probably be mario's madness because it's sheer quality throughout the whole mod is almost too good and it's my favourite mod

when you are more Intermediate with the game i recommend checking out Hypnos lullaby a mod based on a collection of Pokemon Creepypastas. (and some Misc songs) and ofcourse Indie cross cuz sans skelington, bendy and cups. and whenever you are skilled...Vs Retrospecter (Diffucult and well made mod...still in working progress but will never be finished fully) will be up for grabs...when the time comes.

You should definitely play Seeks cool Deltarune mod. It has voice acting, unique songs with many characters from Deltarune and some fanmade characters. It also has difficulty settings so it’s not very hard.
This was a super fun stream to tune into! It's always nice seeing people start to understand just how jacked and talented the fnf modding community is! From the artists to the composers, there's so much talent.
When it comes to my personal favorite mods, I want to preface that I personally DO NOT think you should play any of these yet considering your current skill level at the game. But I encourage you to add them to your probably growing list nonetheless so that you can play them later down the line! I promise they're worth it.

- Pibby: Apocalypse (a pretty large demo of an actually cool pibby mod)
- Hypno's Lullaby
- Sonic Legacy / RodentRap DEMO (It's like one song but it's silly and cool)
Going on a bit of a personal tangent for the last one there, Sonic.exe mods have sort of become a staple in the community at this point due to the original "Friday Night Funkin' VS SONIC.EXE" mod becoming so popular back in the day. (For good reason, mind you, those songs STILL slap to this day.) But the last mod on my list is a short one-song demo that features some leitmotifs from the og Sonic.exe mod. I just wanted to yap about it for a bit since the og Sonic.exe songs are still some of my favorite fnf mod songs to this day.
But yeah, I hope you're able to add these to your growing list despite these mods being on the tougher side. I look forward to watching you progress and get better at the game going forward, regardless of what mod you're playing! :)

Alright Phil, time for the 50 paragraphs on FNF mods, I'll be editing this with time to replay quite a few of these mods myself, and say whether you should try them out or not at this level (It's years of FNF mods, so it will take quite a while)
Also you guys can type in mods in replies to add to this list
Whitty - The first ever FNF week mod, it as good for the time and is still nice (the first 2 songs are nice, 3rd one is charting by a community that was just learning to play rhythm games, the charting is rough to say the least...)
Hex - This one is nice and easy, as long as you stick with the first week, the second week... Better leave for much later... But like I said first week is quite beginner friendly, you can check that one out!
Tricky - I would say leave it moreso for last if you ARE gonna do it next stream, it is quite difficult and not sure if you are gonna be able to do the week, maybe on easy I'll hafta check it out (It would be a nice enough introduction to different mechanics with these)
Hypno's Lullaby - Definetly much later, It's moreso Mario's Madness level of difficult, which is to say quite difficult. It is pretty good tho, and would be interesting to eventually see you play it
Seek's Deltarune Mod: Ye I think you can check it out, it has difficulty settings and is in general just really cool, would reccomend
Mario's Madness - Yep, definetly a mod for later, also really long, would be cool as like one of the last mods you play, as like a culmination of all the knowledge from these mods
Doki Doki Takeover - Also one for later, quite difficult from what I've seen but gonna have to replay it to check if it has difficulty options that could make things easier, but for the moment try to stay away from it
Indie Cross - Such a good mod, but also quite difficult, I saw people were saying about difficulty and turning off mechanics so imma check if that is available, but it is super high quality, and gets a thumbs up from me
Mid-Fight Masses - Ehh, one of the first few FNF week mods, it's pretty nice yes but has some rough parts atleast on the higher difficulties, will need to replay them on easier ones to say yes or no
The Trollge FIles - I am seeing a comment about it and NO not now, it is a real difficult one, definetly for way later if you wanna attempt that, it's a lot higher quality than you'd expect from something like this, I'll tell you that
Agoti - One I would reccomend, it's pretty good and has nice difficulty settings, also if you are interested in it I think you should also check out the Entity Demo mod (It's been over 2 years, I think it's not getting a full release anytime soon) it's made by the same guy and is tied to Agoti, just as good as it is, I reccomend both

I reccomend B-sides and D-sides
They are remixes of the base game's songs with every character being redesigned
Good to see that you are improving (because a former FNF player I notice that you are doing good). Here are mods I would suggest to you:
- *vs. Dave and Bambi 3.0* - An "half joke mod" which was reputed to be a mod with the worst songs but now has some legit bangers after many updates. It has also a connected "fan made mod" (yes, the mod of a mod) which is really good. It is called *Dave and Bambi - Golden Apple* and is even longer than the OG mod (it has also like a 10 minute and a 15 minute song, which are difficult)
.- *Seek's cool Deltarune mod* - Cool (as the name suggests). There are also "fanmade next chapters bosses" in it and some legit bangers (only one or two difficult songs).
- *Doki Doki Takeover PLUS* - Very good if you like DDLC. Even if it is a little bit long, it is very fun (the difficult songs are optional, from what I remember)
PHIL YOU SHOULD PLAY VS BOB (Not beat it because it's too hard but because of a specific battle with a folder character named Ron) but it would also be cool if you tried to beat the mod

The game slaps in general honestly, I almost wish it had an sfw mode just so people who don't like those types of games could still play it

I think there are a few ones you can play, I'd recommend something that is connected to Tricky but isn't actually Tricky though still a bit hard to play which is vs Hank 2.0. Another one that would be cool to try is probably Hex and Hex 2, it is a big classic that got a sequel and needs to be brought up again.
Blueballs Incident: The Trollge Files is an amazing mod with a great story and antagonist(s), it's a bit long and hard, though
my dad used to be a chainsmoker. but when he got with my mom and i was born, he quit cold turkey. his voice was like winnie the pooh on my baby videos. but by the time i was a conscious child his voice became regular. but died to a heart attack in 2010. i'd never start doing any smoking.
Here is what i can recomend :
For something more casual, FNF Soft is really good and you should not have much problem beating it (speaking from experience since i suck at FNF like games .w.; ), The new songs, story and visuals are really well made, and i think author is still working on adding more to it.
As for something little more challenging, the DokiDoki Takeover is a must, it had alot of work put into it and its worth every second.
I would like to recomend the Sonic.exe mod too, it has alot of content and unloking songs is (at least for me) interesting, BUT it does get hard so its up to you.
This stream was very good and I loved the mods, and as my mod suggestion I recommend you check out the vs cartoon cat mod it just got its v2 update and it’s very well made it also has voice acting and a lot of cool songs and secret codes and it also has difficulty rating so you’ll be able to change the difficulty

Little fun fact about V.S Cassette girl: Saruky(The mod's creator), eventually became an official composer for Friday Night Funkin' alongside Kawai Sprite so that's fun! Loved how funky the music they make
Its so cool how you can see phis getting better and better, not even struggling with note combos anymore. And these mods are also a good dose of nostalgia. If youre looking for cool mods with oc's before fnf mods entered their phase of "omg lets bring every creepypasta ever in the game", id recommend the Whitty, Tabi and Mid-Fight Masses mods.
Fun stream as always, another mod suggestion I have is Vs. Hex, a simple, easy, but sweet mod that seems right at your skill level!
The Blueballs incident / Trollge files, really cool mod and really cool story as well it's horror themed even if it's not the horror-est thing in the world, it's really nice.

This was a cool stream, a mod i recommend is vs Nonsense because it's mostly a shitpost joke and it seems it got an update. I don't remember how hard it is but better play on normal just to be sure.

I have three tips for you that might help you get better (if you've already heard them just ignore them lol)
-Try downscroll, this would change how the notes come on the screen as the would be coming from the top with downscroll on. this one is really a preference so if you haven't tried it I would try it at least once. For me personally it makes more sense in my brain as I think about it as the notes coming towards my hands
-Try DFJK, I think the majority of the player base uses these buttons, I don't know if it was one of the methods you tried before and while their nothing wrong with ASKL their is one big advantage to DFJK at least in my mind. F and J both have lines on them to help with typing, and I tend to take my hand of the keys a lot for little things but because of those line I can always reposition my hands without looking
-Look at the part of the screen where your notes aren't, it sounds kind of self explanatory but it really helped me after one of my friends told me to do it. For most songs you can look at around the middle of the screen and as scroll speed gets faster look further down so your brain can process the notes as they get to where you hit them (look up if using downscroll)
I've already made a comment reccomending a long mod, but I also know a very short one that not many people have played, it's called Vs. Henchman Mod and has just one song and a cutscene, it's very fun though and boyfriend gets some new animations so I reccomend it as an additional thing
Like I said, Big Engine Brawl is a great FNF mod that acts as both a love letter to the FNF community and the Thomas the Tank Engine community. It remixes several popular songs from the franchise in just the most immaculate ways you could imagine. Highly recommend giving it a try. (also, it comes with both achievements and a few surprises for you to find. Happy hunting!)
Oh, also Phisnom, this mod also comes with remixed songs from a few other mods as well. Consider that a sneak preview at some other mods to consider. I'm sure chat will be more than willing to tell you where each remix comes from.

For your next modded fnf video, try fnf vs Mami. This mod is often overlooked and is underrated like 90% of people don’t play it, but play it because it has amazing visuals/art design, high quality songs/charting, a new difficulty (“holy”), and secret songs in the free play if you beat the 3 original songs in the story mode and this mod is inspired from the Madoka Magica anime which has amazing soundtracks. That’s all I have to say and good video! Keep up the great work.

All right first off I wanna say how fun this stream was and I'm glad that you enjoyed tf out of it.
Secondly: I think it would be Sooooooo fun to play this with friends and others.
Third: I recommend Doki Doki takeover plus + bad ending, Imposter V4 (wich btw was supposed by the original among us team Inersloth), Inde cross and D- sides
Wall of text warning (lmao)
If I had to make a hall of fame for the really long, really high quality mods, it'd go something like this:
Mario's Madness, Hotline 024, Ourple Guy, Vs Impostor, Hypno's Lullaby, Indie Cross, Doki Doki Takeover.
These I feel like most people will agree on, whereas something like Trollge Files or Darkness Takeover or Dave and Bambi is usually kind of hit or miss (I would not reccomend any of these three, personally, but they do have their enthusiasts).
Keep in mind all of these mods are anywhere between like 2-5 hours, and usually pretty difficult and often with mechanics.
My personal reccomendation, though, is Tricky - it's a classic, not too long, quite difficult (but not unbeatable), and it serves as a decently forgiving introduction to the most overused and overtuned FNF mechanic.
In terms of other mods - there is a subgenre of "Remix/Reskin" mods, which usually follow the structure of vanilla FNF, except with redone art and remixed music. These are not going to be everyone's cup of tea, obviously.
D-sides is probably the best one, and it's definitely the longest, but Arrow Funk is a more obscure one that I think more people should see because the art is impeccable.
And you can't talk about remix mods without THE original remix mod (and one of the first fnf mods, period) B-sides Redux, which I think holds up decently well. They're usually about the difficulty of vanilla up to and including week 7 on hard, or a bit harder than that.
Finally, here are a few other mods which I think deserve a mention despite their wack concepts:
The Friday Night Dustin' demo is quite short, but also really good. Not too difficult, either, though since it's a demo you can't really adjust the difficulty.
Pibby Apocalypse is the only pibby corruption mod I can reccomend in good faith, though keep in mind that it has a LOT of mechanics (basically a staple of pibby mods at this point), so it's probably better to try it after you get a bit more experience. It's actually really difficult.
There is more of course, but this comment is long enough as is for something that noone will probably read.
In conclusion: do NOT play Dave and Bambi :P
Since I think ur getting into not just fnf but rhythm games now, and the fnf nerd I am, I might as well recommend mods for u to play!! But before I do that, lemme just say...
The main game got an Official update after 3 years!!! It has a new week and some extra songs that go by "Erect Mode" songs (hehe,,,, erect,,,,,,,) but yeah!!1 Anyways back to the mod recommendations-
1. Ourple Guy [ V3 ]:
This mod, has a special place in my heart, it's genuinely so good dude, all of the songs are Really good and the art style for most of the songs is silly af, it's just a vibey mod with like 1 song that has a mechanic but it's just note mechanics for that one, oh yeah and it's like decently long, ton of songs but like i said, they're all amazing.
2. Vloo Guy [ V1/Extra Toppings ] (optional):
This mod is a little spin-off of Ourple (the first one i recommended) and ever since it dropped it's V1, I've been legit obsessed with it, I have 3 songs that I just can't get away from (in a good way), which I wont say but uhh yeah- there are some songs that are eh to me but I usually listen to the ones I love lmfao-
2.5. 16BIT (7quid but ourple guy) (optional):
A little Ourple guy mod mixed with 7quid (which is another mod that was canned Not for drama but i think becuz of like, lack in motivation i honestly forgot), that as of now only has 2 soundtracks (not including the menu music) and since I didn't see anything about it getting updated or not I'ma just put it here anyways, the second song is the only reason I'm putting this here I'm gonna be honest lmao, but yuhh.
(little edit, it was canned sadly (found on the wiki lmao) but the build is still out so idk lol)
3. 17 Bucks:
This mod has GOT to be one of my and if not All time favorites, the art is so unique along with the unique soundtrack of a decent amount of songs that all go So hard man! It's a mod I personally think you'll enjoy due to it just being a fun mod with (minus Funk Kast (i'll explain what f.k is later)) no legit story, just a banger mod!!! oh yeah and they're making a v2 with it's own little engine and not pysch so uhh yeah it's gonna get a v2!!! YAYYYE-
3.5. 17 Boo (17bucks halloween 3 shot):
This mod is made by some of the same people that worked on 17 bucks and was just a little 3 song mod which like I've said a ton, go so hard, since they were on a time limit due to them wanting to release it on Halloween there's like, only one missing asset but it's nothing important so yeah!! Just like 17 Bucks, another banger mod with no relative story!!!
4. Hit Single (Real):
This one, has a place in my heart as well, all of the songs are catchy and they're all decently long! It got most recently updated with one of the most (imo) popular songs that has ever been on the internet, I won't spoil anything for it but it's called "Silly Billy" if you were wondering 😭.
5. Mario's Madness [ V2 ]:
This one is at first about scary Mario!!! AHHH- but then it shortly goes into a bunch of characters with one song each (for most of them, some of them like IHY Luigi technically have 2), but like most mods now-a days, most of the songs are good, some are meh but it's still a Really high quality mod so I do recommend it, difficulty is some-what hard but if you can't get past any songs they have a thing where Luigi calls you after I think 3 deaths and is just botplay but ooo Luigi symbol!!!
6. Untitled Walten Files Mod [ Demo ]:
This mod is about an analog horror I THINK you've seen before, which is in the name of it, The Walten Files! All of the songs are Extremely good and just has a shader that makes it fit that analog-mood that it's, well, yeah you get that point-
7. Hypno's Lullaby [ V2 ]:
This mod was cancelled due to I think some old drama with the creator saying a racial slur (I think that's why it got canned but I can't remember) a while ago but as of Funk Kast's first, well, cast (a FNF mod showcase for mods upcoming made by Penkaru (a really cool guy)), it came back and has a V3 in the works!!! But back onto the V2, the mod has Some unfinished/missing assets but besides those everything is pretty much done! Most of the songs I personally don't vibe to but I come back to like, 5-6 of them every now and then because I still love them and think they hold up to the songs from FNF today!!! So yeah!!! Pokemon man man pokemon-
8. The Trollge Files/The Blueballs Incident:
This mod is old but some of the songs I still love a ton! The way it's done is so unique and stuff that I haven't seen done even to this day is, well, in that mod! It's based on, well yeah Trollge heheha troll guy- and has a decent amount of songs to make the story clear enough to where it's understandable and yeah!! I just personally like this one so might as well recommend it!!!
10. Friday Night Dustin' [ Demo ]:
This mods Main story is based off Dusttale, a little Au for, well, undertable that has an evil sans!!! HELP- joking but I'd recommend reading about Dusttale yourself since I think it's awesome!! But yeah as of now it has 3 songs (the usual demo song amount) that each pretty much have their own style!! The first two obviously having to do with Dusttales lore but the 3rd one is just underswap (another au if u didn't know) and dusttale!!! so YEAYEAHH!!!
All of these are either not out yet but that you should keep an eye on or just mods that have been on my head recently, I'm not gonna be explaining them because I'm fucjing tired, so yeah!!!

Difficulty isn't hard, songs are good and has a pretty unique mechanic no other mod uses. (well..specifically anyways)
if you end up playing fnf again i recommend switching your controls to be: S left, D down, J up, and K right. being able to use an individual finger for a specific key and dividing the work between them helped me very much. it also helped having the keys appear in the same order as the notes do, and i also recommend going to the preferences page and turning on the downscroll feature. using downscroll will allow you to concentrate better because you will not have to look up in order to see what you're doing. i was able to get through all the weeks on my first time ever playing a rythm game on a computer by doing this without dying by doing all of these, i really hope this helps.
VS Ohagi and Hatsune Miku - Project funkin' Are both really good you should check em out!
Welp, this was great as usual. Glad to see Phil improve more over time. But if ya really want good suggestions, I'll pile up the best I got and I'll range em' from easiest to hardest:
Vs. Agoti - Relatively easy, and pretty cool.
Hotline 024 - Relatively normal difficulty, a little long, but VERY high quality.
D-Sides: Definitely a must check. It has alot going for it, with its art styles and the MUSIC. Pretty standard difficulty actually btw.
Vs Imposter V4 - More than just a dead meme. It is funny, full of content and just cool overall.
Indie Cross - Kinda difficult ngl, but overall AMAZING and with some fun extras.
Mario's Madness V2 - LMAO, actually PEAK... But pretty hard, especially at first. Totally worth it though, I still consider it to be THE BEST FNF mod EVER.
Vs Gorefield V2 - Also peak, but pretty difficult. (I would recommend this one when you're a little more, hm? experienced. 👉) Still totally worth it. It also had a lot of Spanish speaking people working on it, it has a lot of funny stuff and is genuinely awesome.
(Ig Doki Doki Takeover (and Bad Ending) is a good one, even Wednesday's Infidelity V2 is pretty good. So is Vs Online, lol.) (THAT'S A LOT OF MODS, LMAO.)
Vs. Ourple Man - It's a golden shit post that's like the Day Shift at Freddy's series

Here's the onlly one you need to do- Hotline. I know it's a demo but Saruky earned it. She's responsible for a ton of songs in other mods, put all her heart into hotline and is actually *so good* that she's now working on the main game.
Hotline and it's story are genuinely incredible
I'd suggest Rodentrap which is easy and short, but also high quality and its has a good song with a extra lyrics part.
or Marios Madness V2 which is packed with 40+ songs of different creepypasta or unhinged marios from different medias, but most of the songs are decently hard, most of them have mechanics that are hard, but if you did play it you could make it a seperate stream because the mod is 2 hours long, And all of the songs are very good in my opinion.
also the mod has a lot of cool references and cutscenes, if you dont recognize the mario u can press enter during the song and there will be a explanation of what the characters backstory or what it is.
I would recommend Vs Gorefield V2. It's a really good mod with high art quality, extremely good music, and is just super fun! It is hard as nails though, and also quite long, so I would save it until you're more experienced, but do keep it in mind. (also V2 specifically, V1 is literally just 3 songs and they're all in V2, so you aren't missing anything)
Watching them play and get better is crazy fun.
you should try allegro it is a really chill mod and is pretty beginner friendly i think
and according to the wiki "Allegro is going to be included in a later update to Hotline 024, with his own song"
"Vs. Void" is a MASSIVELY underrated mod. The music's tight and Void has one of the best ever voices I've heard in FNF
"Vs. Zardy" is hard, the songs are long and the charting is definitely made to be hard
"Literally Every FNF Mod Ever/Bob's Onslaught/Vs. Bob" is a 2-week parody of 2 very specific stages of the FNF modding scene at the time, between like 2020 and 2022. The songs are nice, some are stupid fun, one song is one of my absolute faves of all of FNF, and the whole mod is thematically gold.
I don't have really other full mods to recommend, but I know a couple of great single songs
STARE - Also known as The New STARE, from Funkin Against the Anomalies (The only song from the mod AFAIK)
Bashing Drums - From Castle Crashers Boss Rush
Endless - The only song I've liked from anything Sonic.exe... Then again, I avoid .exes because I often dislike the music
I myself prefer to listen to the songs and remixes of them rather than playing the game, so hope you get to enjoy all the amazing things this game has to offer.
43:19 the reason why Cassette girl looks like she could be seen in an official release is because she's based off an official sprite she had back when she was planned for the base game
DeltaFunk : A very small mod (4 songs) with deltarune characters, just easy chill songs
Seek's cool Deltarune mod : the "best" deltarune mod, lots of songs, can be challenging but the easy mode is still here
Indie Cross : a LOT of songs, very cool and you can still use easy mode if you don't want to have to tryhard
Friday Night Fever : one of the first mods with complete weeks full of dialogue and with an actual story, really good songs too

Vs Whitty: Definitive Edition - This is the updated version of the original Whitty mod (with difficulties so you can play on easy mode) and Whitty’s an OG mod, and was made by a lot of the people who worked on Twinsomnia!
Vs Tricky - This one has an easy and normal mode, but the best song in the mod is locked behind Hard (my offer still stands to rechart Hard to be easier if you want lol)
Antipathy Hank - Another Madness combat mod with three difficulties, featuring the official Tricky VA! Really good quality, highly recommend it!
Vs Entity - It’s an old demo of a mod that resumed development recently (featuring an updated AGOTI song) and I recommend it! Last I checked it should have difficulties too
And that’s about it! One thing though:
Mods sometime break with downloads and require a re-download, I’d recommend this over browser versions because browser versions usually aren’t as high quality as the actual mod. I’ve had this happen with loads of mods recently, so I figured I’d give you a heads up!
Funkspace is a mod based on Omori, it's short but it's really good !

Hotline024, Boo!DGS, and FNF soft mod are, IMO, some of the best mods currently out there. Boo and Soft Mod shouldn’t be that hard from what I remember, but Hotline might be pretty difficult. Either way, I guarantee you’ll enjoy them!

I’m not sure if anyone’s said it yet, but arcade showdown (AKA vs. Kapi) is a really good one. Kind of intermediate but really worth your time imo. No crazy visuals or anything but really good music and charting.
This was a very fun stream, cant wait for the next one! I recommend Vs Hex, its a very beginner freindly mod with passion in it!
Friday Night Fever is a really good one(fairly long I will say), it also goes off a story line that is separate from bf an gf, another mod I would suggest is Neko Freak, a much smaller mod than Friday Night Fever but would be good practice for you if you play it on hard
haven't watched the stream yet and completely forgot it was happening but if you're looking for another simple mod to play sometime i'd heavily recommend d-sides! it's a remix mod which is basically "imagine the base game but in another universe" and it's really great tbh. i forgot to mention it last time i recommended mods so i figured i could get this in now. can't wait to watch the stream, and hope you enjoyed hazy river and twinsomnia!

I recommend the FNF Deceiver mod, i've watched it a while ago and the songs are pretty good. I think some of the songs are a bit hard for you, but sometimes mashing is the best option. (Only one song has a mechanic in it but I don't think it actually effects you (from the playthrough i have seen, it just seems more like a distraction at best)).
people have already been suggesting pretty good mods, so i won't do that here.
i still do recommend you do a separate stream for shorter mods all at once, if you feel like some mods get too long for one stream (For example, Hotline is around 1-2 hours, Mario Madness is around 2 and a half hours long, and VS Imposter is around 3)

I'd recommend Vs Allegro. It's a short mod from the early modding days of the community with really good music. The difficulty is also up your alley.
The starving artist is also a good mod
It has similair difficulty to these mods and has a sequel aswell which is a bit harder but good vibes

The doki doki takover plus is a great but pretty long nod (and can be difficult to newer players) overall its a great time (you would need to know what happens in ddlc to understand whats happening) and actually has a good story and even has the VA of monika which is cool
three mods i would recommend are friday night crunchin: which is based of the cereal guy comics and also has most its iconic songs come from the freeplay. VS hex : which is old but really good. the only problem is that one of the songs may just be unfair. and finally the vs mod where even though the main appeal is the fact that it tries be a and online fnf vs mode it has abunch of songs referencing things like eddsworld, madness combat and more pico school characters
