is this a reliable car? in the UK these cars are so cheap, and for a 1.4L with 240Nm and 170BHP you'd think they'd be alot more expensive. Is this car a good buy?
depends on how it was used by the previous owner.. it runs pretty well if everything is ok.. i had to repair a lot and to change a lot on it.. i think it"s difficult to find one in a good condition

What about consumption in city?
It was 9-12. Depends on driving mode and traffic. I have now a MK5 GTI and it's 13-16 urban :) So, i can say the GT was very good at consumption
