Dude bassicly shows the instrumental versions from various North Korean songs.
Author for his work uses videos made from 70-90's for sake of esthetics. Also in his channel its said that he do not promote Ideology. Just the style of NK music. So yea its kinda a sovietwave but better

As others have written before me, there is no ideology here, it is only present at the mention level at most. This project is much more about the unique socialist culture that the North has built around itself over several decades. This is what I try to show in my videos, and the whole thing is very mesmerizing to me.
