- Be sure to check out www.lalal.ai/, a next-generation music source separation service for fast, easy and precise stem extraction. Remove vocal, instrumental, drums, bass, guitar, synthesizer and piano tracks without quality loss.
So... We can actually remove different elements from recorded music these days and get seperated stems out of pretty much anything. I wanted to finally check this out and see if it's useful for a sample based workflow. Even though the result isn't always 100% perfect, I find this to be a really useful and crazy powerful tool. Is it cheating though? - Yeah, sure it is... But I don't really care :P
I even ran one of my own old Swedish rap songs from 2005 through this and extracted my vocal from the track - Not my best idea yet. I sucked as a rapper!
However... A cool tool that I was lucky enough to test out in a sponsored video. You can try this service yourself for free for 10 minutes. Using my link below supports me and my channel.

Im of a similar era. I get the self deprecation. HOWEVER, 2005....u were on STAGE! Doing your thing! And now, 17yrs later, YOU STILL ARE! (Not many can say that!)
I've been doing this a lot lately, opens up a whole new world of possibilities for samples.
Yeah, I just discovered how powerful this stuff really is. This will change a lot
Thank you for featuring our service 💛 much appreciated!
You Guys are dope as hell 💣💣💣
@@kamikaze6295 thank you, our AWESOME user 💛
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great review as always man
man that 2005 beat rocks man lol
Påminde mig om Organismen där . Det är ju kalasbra! Och god jul för fan
Your track from 2005 is still nice 🔥🔥🔥
That's really mind blowing...serato has a stems feature in their daw and I really hope they implement it in the sample plugin too. It's just as good as this too. Great tool none the less for sure!
I’ve heard this but I haven’t tried it out yet for some reason. I’ll check it out too. This type of technology was just a dream when I started out.
Your beat from 2005 is dope! Don't feel ashamed.
pretty flipping cool tech - nice one
It sure is!
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this but I’m really impressed.
I wish you would have taken a song in which you recorded, and still had the stems, and ran that through the AI. It would be fascinating and useful to see how the AI's stems compare to the original stems. Maybe this could be a part two?
That’s not a bad idea! I’ll think about that 😀
That’s an awesome thought!
Agreed!
This Def seems like a God send! Would use any of these stems for a track, you could surely find a way to hide those unwanted artifacts with some post processing.
The new place is looking really good
Thanks man!
It’s great but the future home studio will be just as cool :)
You're a good guy
I recently used it to do a remix, extracted just the vocals. It came out quite well. Some EQ, reverb, melody on top and you can barely hear the artifacts in extracted sample.
That’s awsome!
Holy shit that’s impressive.
Your Vocals Was My Favorite Part Of This Video... The Art Of Rapping is About Capturing Emotion With Energy and Delivering Your Message With Emphasis either on A Rhythmic Beat or A Unique Style. I Cannot Understand Your Language But I Can Understand Emotional Tones...Great Job and You Should Never Criticize Your Vocals Again... Have You Heard The Average New Artist Of Today... Your 2005 Vocals Are Ahead Of Todays Average in My Opinion and Probably Most Others. 👌🏽Kool.
agree!
I need this
Your new beat at 7:52 instantly resonated with my soul, has it dropped yet?
Nope… But I’m thinking about finishing a few tracks and release them.
That’ll happen some day :)
Let’s gooo!!
What happens if you process the same file twice? Would it yield the same result, or be "cleaner" or have more artifacts?
The only bad thing is that it still left some of the clavinet of the drum track for JP Walk. Was that pulling from a mono clip? If you had a stereo clip, maybe the separation would be better into the individual parts.
Any idea how can you download the extract 1 days after extraction? I can not find any way ro access previous extractions.
one of the funniest as of later xb
loved the rap btw, no irony, cant speak swedish
Excellent and I had to laugh a little at what you put yourself through, I'd do the same.
Haha! That wasn’t easy! I listened to the whole track too… I don even know who I was back then… I’m glad I quit rapping before it went too far 🤣
crazy bars bror! the point of this video is to present your fire bars, did i get this right?
100%
I wonder if some of the artifacts are due to ducking/sidechaining. The vocals on the UA-cam track sounded like they had a pump to them like you'd get from ducking
Yeah, I guess some of the sounds are just too close to one another in that low bitrate for the AI to really be able to get it right... It sounds like ducking somehow but I really pushed the limits here ;P
Sago Accurate
@Accurate Beats Serato Studio 2.0 update now does live stems separation inside of the DAW in real-time, go check it out, it's really dope.🔥🔥🔥🔥
I heard something about that! I’ll look in to it for sure!
can i extract vocals from a song and make my own music to them and post it on youtube with no problems?
No. Copyright still exists. This doesn’t change anything like that.
Just a quick question…which year it was from 2004 or 2006? 😂
He made it very clear, but just to reiterate: 1995
Yeah, I’m really sorry I didn’t make that clear in the video. Letting the viewers know the age of the recording I used would’ve made a lot of sense. I’ll think about this in the future!
Thanks for the heads up.
Hey man I really enjoyed your vinyl sampling with MPC, just one question tho. How do you get around with all this sample clearing thing? I heard that copyright laws are less strict in the EU, do you have like a particular way of finding a vinyl from certain record label with expired copyrights?
It's not good?! It's effin dope!!! You way too judgemental of yourself bro.
Haha! Thanks man!
sampling 2.0 is on-line
I think that’s right. That goes for everything
sounds like someone is pissed they got a piece of inferior chocolate.... but hey it was 2005
Haha!
I watch your videos with fun - but what i DONT LIKE here is, that u shamed u, because of your music from 2005....wtf? its yours, u made it - and its not bad....so stay with u - and your music u made earlier
Honestly… I wouldn’t have used that piece of music here if I were THAT ashamed of it 🤣
I’m kinda proud of the fact that I was that creative so long ago.
Thanks! I get what you’re saying
Very clever but this ain't hip hop man.
You ain’t hip hop
@@bossmedia4028 cool
Man, whats with this apologizing bs. This political correctness is Killing thinking.
unreal game changer for me
Totally! This helps a lot!
@@AccurateBeats decided to buy it. Perfect for my dsico edits. Thanks for heads up and hope you get kickback.
