No cóż i czemu ta technika ma służyć, wesołe, efektowne machanie? Do walki, to ruchy są jednak za krótkie i za blisko ciała.

It's a competition grade Chinese broadsword. It's specifically made for wushu. There are others that are designed for combat. A great place to look online is Kung Fu Direct.

Great tutorial! Where did you purchase the sword and what size?

Measure the distance between your right wrist and the top of your right ear when standing with your arms at your side. That's what your blade length should be. A good place to purchase in the US is kungfudirect. For Europe, search wushuguan.

Great video - really useful. Thanks.
I've just completed learning (well, not completed *learning* it obviously, I hope to get better than my rather shambolic and clumsy current efforts, but I've got to the end!) my first broadsword form and I'm looking for more techniques to practice so will definitely be doing these in isolation.
It should be said, I've learned it in my living room over Zoom with my instructor during lockdown. Somehow, the furniture and TV survived! Personally, I'd love to see a similar video on how to do spins and flowers now Spring is here and I can get outside a bit.

That's really awesome to hear. Congrats on learning your broadsword form. Where do you train? I'll do my best to put another tutorial together soon.
