I don’t know how you were able to play, I could tell you wanted to bust out laughing the whole video.😂😂 Great job man your going to be famous one day!!
Cripes...I've had the same damn cowlick my whole life, but - after applying Step 3 (the hair) - either my whole head is cowlicked to match the previous cowlick, or the cowlick is gone and matches my non-cowlicked hair. In other words, this video - specifically Step 3 - changed my life. I'm going to celebrate with a glass of cran-apple. #Step3TheHair
@@shredaintdead9323 Given the high price tag, only pros or those with plenty of money to burn! But most amp modellers these days do a pretty good model of the SLO-100, which will get you in the ballpark of 80s hair metal tone.
This may be the most totally wicked awesome instructional video of ALL TIME!!! Thank you for the METAL!!! (In all seriousness, I almost died laughing at how on point this is).
@@shredaintdead9323 I just saw this, but I’m coming back to it now with a fluorescent pink Kramer Barretta (2020 reissue), safe to see I have secured the hair metal guitar.
@@shredaintdead9323 i thought you were going to show how yo write different riffs not just play a riff. 😆 if the music is to loud your to old. Rock on dude.. 👍 there was no era like the 80s glad I could play my part.. 🤣
You can make fun of how they looked ill give anyone that LOL but the music was so punchy and catchy. When popular music was skilled musicians and not celebrities with laptops
It's all in good fun. 80s and 80s shred is my favorite music, and it's wayyyy better then djent boys writing garbage laptop music! I have a video on that too btw and lots of other metal genres too.
You basically failed by not adding awesome guitar bends and shit everytime you explained something... You have to punch every line with a solo, hair metal 101. But nice try, dude...! 😆😆
loudwire: "how could we let hair metal happen?"
me: "how could we let loudwire happen?"
Haha so true 👍
Bro....these how to videos, while hilarious, are also very enlightening. Lol. Please do more! Love the channel. Good luck growing it.
Thanks! I have a lot more of these videos on the way!
I love how through out the hole video your basically teaching your South Park alter ego how to play Glam Metal.
Thanks!
Seriously, the keyboard warrior typing makes me chuckle every time lol
It never gets old cuz it's SO TRUE Haha
That reminds me of when I used to play Guitar Hero: I had them generate my band's name. We were known as s Unicorn Warrior lmao
That riff is literally the exact kinda shit I fuck with lmao. You literally cannot go wrong with that, it's impossible to miss. Love it
Haha awesome! Thanks dude. Lots of hair metal Gregg demos on the channel. Make sure to check out my Playlists. You'll love it!
I was a bit worried you were going to miss the pout but you smashed it!
Of course!
I haven't picked up my strat in ages. Your videos inspired me to get riffing again 🤟
Awesome!
This is the only music theory lesson you ever need !
True!!!
TOTALLY GLAMORIFIC! NO SLEEVES! BIG HAIR! MAKEUP! BLUE STEEL! - IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!

Excellent
Love this lesson. Funny and super informative
Thanks! I'll have a new one of these up in a few days!
Marshall for sure, some of those type bands also staring playing those old ADA preamps.
Sykes used both Marshall and Mesa Boogie
Always the greatest videos. Dont take so long to post new ones dude! And as always, congrats for the work! Rock fckn Roll!
Thanks! I'll be back posting soon! Just moved into my new place yesterday.

Entertaining as always
you have awesome taste in guitars 🎸 coming from a 51 year old shredder that grew up in the 80’s heyday of hair metal 🤘🏼
Thanks dude!!!

I think the video was awesome and it was pretty darn epic
Thanks dude! I have lots of other vids like this on the channel and hair metal Gregg demos too!
What about the Soldano SLO-100? I think that amp was just as important in hair metal, and gives the quintessential hair metal tone I think.
I agree but how many people actually own that?

The tuning of glam metal is half step down not standart, and the most important are triad chords not power chords
Don't tell me what to do. Like 2 Glam metal bands used w flat tuning. Rest is all standard.
Yup, it is D# tuning
@@TheIgorrock load of glam bands used standard as well it was really a mixture
