I thought Poch answered that question quite well considering English is like his 5th language. He was basically saying that he can't yet consider this team "his team", because he doesn't feel he has the right to assume his connection to the club is that strong after 8 months, he made a comparison to Wenger or Ferguson very much being able to refer to their squads as "their teams" as they had been managing their respective clubs for more than a decade. If he stayed at Chels for 4 or 5 years I would imagine he would consider it to be "his team". Edit: Also I reckon he was peed off at Reece for being a prime plonker and it came out as a bit snappy in the interview.
nkunku came on and made an immediate impact, we looked confident, aggressive and creative. cannot wait to see him next season, i have full confidence in nkunku!
I don’t blame Poch for being pissed. He’s saying it’s not his team because he’s making the point that getting this team to being good was always going to take TIME but critics have been howling for his head most of the season. Plus, he wants to win on Sunday and if he acted like he was happy, like beating Brighton was enough to be fat and happy, his players are more likely to be happy. And he needs them to focus on Sunday. The press’ narrative has been to question Poch’s competency ALL SEASON and for them to now act like he only got competent in the last month pisses him off. Rightly.
Because you poch out lot and the media have been giving him shit from day one and now even though we doing ok you lot are still giving him shit and not cutting him some slack. I don’t blame him. Nothing to about him being smart or that him and his team have some plot. Everyone has their limit. Nobody plans to be upset. He has just reached his limit with the doubt. Stupid questions at press conferences. I’m with him. Watched most of the videos after the press conference from multiple news agencies and UA-camrs and you all proved him right, you all twisted his words into 100 different agendas and narratives.
He's a media darling. I haven't seen any other Chelsea manager getting it so soft tbh. Yan mentioned in the video too, even the question was innocent. He's crumbling under pressure, that's what it is. Or at least that's what was said for previous managers.
I have been watching Estevao and Paez play on BeIn sports. Willian reminds me of a young and fit Neymar. He effortlessly pulls off moves most footballers won't even attempt. Kendry's passing and vision are already next level. We're not spending loads on these kids, we're stealing them.
It is time to understand that kids are being bought to develop and sell. Just the best one will stay at Chelsea. You don't expect us to keep 6 players for the same position at the club, do you?
@nicolemonkeviciene791 you don't develop players on the bench, that's why players usually leave and get better. Hence why we are losing out on maatsen and would probably lose out on Andre santos as well. It worked at Ajax cos their youth players got first team football.

You can’t blame Poch getting tetchy after what the press have written about him. He might also have been peed off about some of the decisions in the game. He’s human after all
I can understand poch he has no control of players coming in or leaving I know he can have a say but the final decision isn't down to him he could talking about players like Gallagher and Chalobah, I read about Chelsea trying for a Sterling and Michael olise swap
Not sure why Poch is angry, maybe he’s got end of season weariness of explaining himself and defending his coaching reputation constantly? James petulance is indeed very frustrating. His and Gallgher’s leadership styles are very different as well. I also hate when Reese takes the ball away from Palmer on free kicks. He did it earlier in the season as well. I don’t mind it if he or Conner take it themselves but giving it to Sterling…just leaves me wondering whats’ he thinking. Saying all that, whatever the gaffer and club has to do keep James motivated is all good!!
Fans and media have been having a go at him and calling for his head with all the injuries and lack of experience management went quite on him while rumours of amorim and others was being loudly circulated. Think he is allowed to vent!
Mudryk receives a blow on the head from Lambptey, gets concusion ...ref says play on...Reece James flicks his leg , lightly at at Pedro after being fouled twice and gets a Red card!!! Did Brighton get issued licence to cut down and finish off as many Chelsea players..WTF???
Also at the moment Nkunku has no chemistry with the team and players like Madueke will ignore passing to him but give the man a run of games and the others will look for him and Palmer when things are rough! The finish against Wolves was smooth the one against Brighton as well and vs Liverpool he created a goal out of thin air not giving a damn about being surrounded by VVD,Konate or Alisson. Also the goal vs Brighton is as well due to Nkunku changing the tempo of the attack. Right before Chelsea moved the ball from the left to the right hand side it was Nkunku who stopped the rush and was waving instructions to Gallagher as to where to run then switched play and we attacked on the right as the left wing was well defended. That is something a quality experienced player has..the understanding of tempo and finding opportunities where there are none.
I think the same. Poch worked with kids and our most experienced star players were not available also these rumours about him being replaced. I think he said the things he said lately to put pressure on the owners to look into the medical department and sporting directors and to give Poch more power to influence the transfer decisions. Also Nkunku is a great finisher! Check the shooting contest he did with James in training prior to the Brighton game...he was scoring some bangers.
Poch has had a trying season and IMO he has had enough of the media seeking to create news instead of reporting it. He is correct when he calls out the media for "rumors" and it has to be frustrating to have to answer the same leading questions every press conference. The questions asked by some of these "journalist" makes me wonder how they have a job.

Trust me about Poch. I have watched every Pochettino managed match since the 2016-17 season, missing a total of 3-4 games total. At each stop, the teams play largely the same so I think to say he is liaize fair isn’t correct unless that is some crazy coincidence. Instead of playing with a rigid positions & movements like Conte, or like Pep/Klopp with rigid movements, Poch instead focuses on player positions that are relatively rigid in order to implement his high pressing style to regain possession (the framework). He then gives player more freedom of movement as long as the ball is moved quickly like how they practice with a lot quick passes followed by sharp movements by the passer. This allows the players to put themselves into places that play to their strengths. This is why Poch needs time to gel his players together as teammates nlearn each players habits and wants on the pitch which overtime Poch is able to mold the team into a unit that maximizes the individual strengths of his players within an effective unit. That is why Poch is great at developing young talent because he challenges them to find ways to implement their strengths on pitch while still upholding their team responsibilities. Of course the team is also given a game plan to follow each game but it is the freedom that he allows his player is what makes his teams so good and so exciting to watch.
I understand but it's kinda true. All the crap that has been done to him has aggravated the manner to which he basically just doesn't want to cause a problem anymore and is sick of it. From the injuries, to the hierarchies to the stupid rumours, that's enough to drive you absolutely insane.
He’s mad at all the continual speculation. He may have misread the room yesterday but he wants to address it before the endless questions. Fans are starting to back him, now the owners need to come out & do the same & shut everyone up. Trust in Poch!
I enjoyed your vid yesterday post match. Are we missing the thing that has helped change our situation. I have mentioned that Enzo is not the player we all thought we brought. He is slow and does not assist the other two in midfield. Now he is out injured we now look like we could even compete at the top next year. Since he went for his operation we have perked up with a great run since he left. I am positive about the way we have improved but be aware we may drop back when Enzo returns. James was childish to do what he did but Beckham did it as well as Rooney. They all learnt from it and James will as well. Great vis again.
6th is a good season considering all that’s happened. I’m loving how all the Chelsea bashers are now finding it hard to criticise us so they just fall back on the “billion dollar” argument 😂
I’d be pissed too if I’d been saying trust the process all year, still received unfair criticism all year, and now everyone wants to switch up because now results are reflecting what I’ve been saying…all year.
I think a lot of what Poch says in press conferences gets lost in translation due to him not being fluent yet. I think he always means well, but things get misconstrued.
People never give him credit, still have an army of Chelsea fans calling for his head, saying he's been bailed out by Palmer. The anti Poch idi*ts are still everywhere. I can see why he's still pissed off.
I think when he asks “It’s my team? What does that mean?”, it shows that he’s not understanding because English is his second language. He hears it in the literal sense, and when the follow up is something along the lines of “do you see your style of play”, I think he’s a bit taken back, because he’s explained multiple times that it’s a process and uses the past examples of other clubs. To be fair to him, I think he’s a bit miffed about the Jackson question. Or more so the lack of understanding by the media for this 21 year old kid who, somehow in his first season, has to fill the shirt of Drogba/Costa; and still has managed over a dozen non pen goals. Probably carries a bit of that vitriol onto the next question.
I think your interpretation is a bit off, him saying it’s not his team means he didn’t pool those players, that squad doesn’t have his finger prints on it
Personally, I read Poch's behavior as clapping back at the press. Couple reasons, first saying that it doesn't matter what he says, that the press will just write what they want. Second, getting particularly irritated at all the positive feedback and saying that the hard work and performances were there before but that it was ignored because we weren't winning games. Only now that we are winning are people asking about tactics etc. Finally, when that last journo asked, is this your team, he was quick to say it's not, but then he explained I've only been here one season, and since the beginning I've been dealing with all these injuries and 'circumstances' as he likes to say (tie in to the earlier comment about how nobody cares what he says) and now that we've won a few you want me to say it's my team? Then he brought up Fergie and Wenger and said after so many years sure you could say it's their team, but after a season no. Also that his style should be obvious by now from his previous teams. He did bring up Pep's ability to buy players every window, so maybe that was a little message to the guys upstairs, but overall I think he's just venting his annoyance with the shortsighted press, and maybe feels vindicated and able to do so thanks to this late season turnaround in results. Oh, and Poch In 😂
Red card and Lamptey cheap shot and no yellow or red were all extremely annoying . The focus now should be a winning final game to see off Thiago "The Legend " Silva.
How many balloons does Nkunku carry with him. I’m concerned if he scores a hat-trick he won’t have enough, or does he just reuse only one balloon? This needs to be addressed by Poch at the next the presser.
@@H-When the slagging was not warranted because it's a new young team trying to find their feet in a new league with many injuries... Some deluded Ignorant plastic fans were slagging them off.
I think the Europa League is perfect for this building Squad I don't think we're ready for Champions League but I think we can build some confidence with a good Europa League run I'm even confident in the fact that we have a shot of winning that
I would back Poch's man management and think we can get a lot out of Sancho, especially if Ten Hag stays. He's a childhood Chels, Poch, as with Madueke can wear playrs with slightly questionable attitudes down, and the guy is obscenely talented. And with his situation at United, I think Sancho for 50-60 mil would be a much better buy than Williams for the same amount imo. Has a fairly decent connection within the English cohort in the Chelsea dressing room as well.

Had the owners come out and publicly back Poch and the progress of the project, maybe his angst would subside. Who knows whats going on behind closed doors, hes not in contact supposedly and has little control over players...
Villa seems an obvious option for sterling if he does go. Champions league football, and villa will need his experience. Again, would need a huge pay cut but would be an option potentially
I just had to pause the video after you mentioned rumours of Sterling possibly leaving...YES PLEASE, along with Chilwell and James (why have players that are not good enough and/or never fit to play?). Ian Matsen would have been my choice over Chilwell, btw. Ok, back to the vid..
If Harvey Barnes wasn't injured most of the season he'd be Englands LW, baller. Instead it must be Gordon IMO. I think McNeil is great but has no international experience so a Euros call up is doubtful. Rashford is not even an option IMO, he's embarrassed many UTD fans this season.
6:21 to be fair yan. He has been under scope so much and had everything he says twisted. Every SINGLE interview. Don’t you think you would be a bit defensive at this point to. Just giving a opinion.
Yan he is not mad at Chelsea owners. He is angry at the media keep cross questioning him to twist his words. he literally said that. why am I the only one seeing this? obviously he is not that good at English. and all the media does is ask stupid questions, and we are so weak as a society so we would not dare to challenge the media. I have been saying for years that the need to start filter what questions they can ask.
I think we need Sterling as a senior attacker. If he does go, Tottenham would be a destination cause their right wing isn’t that great and with Son moving to a striker position the LW is also open
Could you take his comment of "this isn't my team it's Chelsea's team" as he's had pressure from the owners to start and play certain players? I mean his hands have been tied as of late with injuries and such but now we have almost a full squad again, perhaps it's a dig towards something along them lines?
Poch is annoyed because he was told it was a project and would have time. That was clearly BS if the rumors have any truth. Especially when you consider Arteta and Klopp both finished 8th in their first year and showed the value of time. He thought Chelsea hierarchy understood that and they have also left him out there alone to defend the hierarchy decisions which ain’t fair

He’s mad at all the continual speculation. He may have misread the room yesterday but he wants to address it before the endless questions. Fans are starting to back him, now the owners need to come out & do the same & shut everyone up. Trust in Poch!
👍 for Yan!
He's saying he has no control over the team the SDs are still meddling in more than they should and some players seem to mug him off
We have improved under Poch based on where we are coming from the last season and the beginning of this season. He needs time
I enjoyed your vid yesterday post match.
Ayyy the balloons came out at the perfect time🎈💙 9:39
Sterling should just go. Not been up to it
6th is a good season considering all that’s happened. I’m loving how all the Chelsea bashers are now finding it hard to criticise us so they just fall back on the “billion dollar” argument 😂
Feeling good Yan, starting to like this team a lot, some very good characters
Feeling good. I think Poch is just frustrated at the media.
The balloons are a tribute to Nkunku..... aren't they Yan???😉
UpTheChels ⚽️💙.
I’d be pissed too if I’d been saying trust the process all year, still received unfair criticism all year, and now everyone wants to switch up because now results are reflecting what I’ve been saying…all year.
Its simply he has self belief and knows how to coach and said it how it is. I get it because people with self esteem trust their own abilities.
There is no chance I’d ever accept De Zerbi as Chelsea boss. There’s no alternate timeline where I’d be happy about it. Guy is an ass.
Maybe he just meant all the good happening now isnt just him but chelsea's hard work as a whole
You had my like at the ‘beautiful day’ bit.
Oh, and Poch In 😂
2:17 I FEEL GOOD PARARARARA
Red card and Lamptey cheap shot and no yellow or red were all extremely annoying .
The focus now should be a winning final game to see off Thiago "The Legend " Silva.
How many balloons does Nkunku carry with him. I’m concerned if he scores a hat-trick he won’t have enough, or does he just reuse only one balloon? This needs to be addressed by Poch at the next the presser.
I keep telling you all you slagged off poch all season HES a class manager in poch we trust
He's alright but he won't win us anything big
@@Awkd I think he will
The slagging was warranted. We were 12th !
@@H-When the slagging was not warranted because it's a new young team trying to find their feet in a new league with many injuries...
Some deluded Ignorant plastic fans were slagging them off.
@@H-When considering we vertically a brand new young squad we done pretty damn good ITS CALLED KEEPING THE FAITH
Livin’ the dream, win after win 💙 😊
Yan, ballon fix: when your camera is active you should see a camera icon at the top right, it should be green, click there to find the emotive settings. ✌️ gives you balloons 🎈💙
(Top right on your system menu). While there, you can also try the portrait filter to see if that works or not.
Anthony Taylor Chelsea vs Bournemouth Bingo
- Stupid red card to a Chelsea player
- Blatant red card not given to a Bournemouth player
- Soft penalty to Bournemouth
- Blatant penalty not given to Chelsea
Nah bruv we will beat Bournemouth
@@Chelseafan4life_you're both correct
Reece unfortunately has a whole highlight reel of petulance. Something he better get a grip on quickly.
Had the owners come out and publicly back Poch and the progress of the project, maybe his angst would subside. Who knows whats going on behind closed doors, hes not in contact supposedly and has little control over players...
Samba attacking with Tuchel defense = trophies!
Yan, of course the balloons appeared when speaking about Nkununu
Who's Nkununu
Villa seems an obvious option for sterling if he does go. Champions league football, and villa will need his experience. Again, would need a huge pay cut but would be an option potentially
The balloons came up just as you mention nkunku hahaha like it was planned for him
I just had to pause the video after you mentioned rumours of Sterling possibly leaving...YES PLEASE, along with Chilwell and James (why have players that are not good enough and/or never fit to play?). Ian Matsen would have been my choice over Chilwell, btw.
Ok, back to the vid..
If Sterling is going to Palace, we want a Michael Olise
I still think Poch isn't the right choice for Chelsea. Hansi Flick would have been the perfect manager for us.
Bruh dem speculations be the same shit Poch was saying would happen 💀💀😂😂😂🤣🤣
If Harvey Barnes wasn't injured most of the season he'd be Englands LW, baller. Instead it must be Gordon IMO. I think McNeil is great but has no international experience so a Euros call up is doubtful. Rashford is not even an option IMO, he's embarrassed many UTD fans this season.
I'd rather we got Confrence league than Europa. Won Europa twice, Conference would be our chance to be first team ever to win every possible trophy
Sterlings race has run
I think he was upset people were saying he would walk away from the job when he misspoke a few pressers ago.
England left side has Rashford Gordon Eze Grealish and Sancho……. Sterling ain’t making it
Yan if you can do put an appreciation post for the legend SUNIL CHETTRI getting retired… playing his last match for INDIA on 6th of June. He has the 3rd highest international goals after Cr7 and messi…. Deserves the respect of the world. Thankyou in advance and love from INDIA 🇮🇳
