People need to understand that this drama isnt just based on the romance..It mainly deals with the life of a doctor and also how the two leads overcome their barriers in becoming a professional doctor with the help of Master Kim..So obviously the romance will be less compared to many other dramas..But still there are cute moments between them and I like how this drama shows their feelings for each other slowly...the chemistry between them is really good and it makes me feel like continuing the show...also it makes sense why WooJin behaves like that cause he is made to believe by the society that there is no happiness in life...its amazing how they slowly overcome their traumas...we can only judge after the season is over..
What's amazing is that they both actually become each other at some points of their growth: Eun Jae becomes a whistleblower against the sunbae to protect Woo Jin and the hospital. Woo Jin becomes more sensitive to surgeries and patients, even going against Eun Jae at a moment. Eun Jae is slowly being revealed to be more grounded and Woo Jin is showing his emotional extent under the repressed mask. Also their honesty - she is now more open to accepting her shortcomings and he is being more guarded. They are balancing each other with every situation and that's the best trait of a strong relationship. Cannot wait for when they actually are openly in love!!

Thanks for this analysis of their relationship... No offence but I think ppl that kept saying that they are more interested in the second lead romance is not really watching RDTK2 whole-heartedly... He was pushed out because of this and many people avoided him because they thought he was not the right kind to be friends with. In later episodes Cha Eun Jae exposes the truth of her senior using a USB and it comes as a parallel to Seo Woo Jin. Plus it's extra special because she did it to save him (and the hospital but primarily him).
Their chemistry is awesome, seriously. No romance scene, but it's so obvious from the way Woojin looked at Eun Jae, love is always there. I hope Eun Jae will realize it soon, and realize her feelings towards him too

The reason why im so deeply in love with rdtk2 lead couple is bcs From 1st ep until final ep, they have never say 'i love you' or 'i like you'. Showing affection towards each other is just simply enough. Woojin keep protecting eunjae WITHOUT expecting her to reply his feeling is the sweetest thing ever. This loveline was very realistic
I love this drama not only because my two favorite actors are here but because it deals with the reality of Asian culture and life. You don't always get praised or rewarded when you have done right and it is easily to be criticized without knowing the whole story. Yeah! This is life. But then, remember you live not to please people but to be a better person.

Also I've literally never understood this bullshit of how Woojin was getting all this hate for betraying his fellow doctor thing. He did what was morally right? Even if the doctor was a sunbae/co-worker that doesn't mean they are exempted from commiting crimes. If anything Woojin should've been praised for doing what was right.
Apparently he was excluded because “he couldn’t be trusted anymore” for what he did and the same could happen to them. He would’ve been praised if all the other doctors weren’t also doing anything dirty, probably why Master Kim is the only one who accepted him.
Heather N and to add to below point, SK or Asian generally has high collectivism culture, although what he did was morally right in terms of law and order but it isn’t in working culture, whistle blower ain’t we’ll accepted in the culture, plus WJ himself who choose to worked with that sunbae because of high pay (he might consider his debt) but at the end of the day reported the sunbae for mismanagement and money laundering.. in the circle eyes he is betrayer, and the fact that he kind of introverted make him look like anti social too. He seemed to have no sense of respect towards the elder.. noted that seniority play a big role in SK society..

Dr romantic 1&2 always amaze me.. the drama rarely a romance scene between both male and female lead.. but when they had it.. even smallest romantic scene that is just like 10 minute duration ..we can feel it right away.. the writer and the actor actress from both series really amazing. i started watching doctor romantic with the sole reason that i already knew sung kyung and hyo seop from their previous dramas, and wanted to see how they would do as a pair. but then as more episodes passed by i got more and more curious of master kim. i never once heard about this drama ever and i wanted to know what led the story to that moment so i watched season 1, and itʼs honestly been such a learning experience. master kimʼs the most inspiring kdrama character iʼve ever came to watch :'( his work and views as a doctor are just so genuine and true, and hearing his advice to different people in different situations has made a huge impact in me, he taught me so much. it felt like i was also his student throughout watching the first season and now, the second as well 🥺 i donʼt want this to end :(((((

I loved that they become a slow burn couple. It was always the side couples that have slow burn relationships and somehow the stories are more realistic. When this drama shows that the main couple can have a slow burn romance and not a whirlwind or fall at first sight, I am sold. Without realising, their loves are like showing who is better at loving the other at first. Then, it becomes a complementary one. The best part? They just fight to be the best without any of them stepping down. It’s like we can both be in love but that doesn’t mean I will discount my qualifications for that love.
Woo Jin is a complex lead, considering his past, childhood, he could never be a perfect normal romantic hero, I loved the way writer developed this story, their romance is lovely, endearing, they always had feelings for each other, it was beautiful to see how they fell for each other, always fighting yet supporting each other, thats the way it happens in real life, it was perfect, absolutely amazing chemistry between the couple, one could always see love in their eyes. Hope these two work together again.. Great story and execution ❤❤❤

Why didn't they include the backstory from med school? That was one of the highlights! (Well at least for me).. and the scene where they first had coffee in doldam. It's well-explained in the last episode, he never likes black coffee at all and he only pretends to let her drink first. It's just a little thing but it shows how much he loves her and cares about her

however dr kang and dr yoon are looking so good together. His a bit extroverted when showing his love and affection towards dr yoon. In season two dr seo jin is an introverted person and he didn't push anything towards her he just patiently waiting for the right time till dr cha eun jae crossed the line. The two leading men are opposite in showing off their feelings to the woman they like but I love both season one and season two .however i'm into introverted personality. That's why even I love dr kang, the moves of dr seo jin are remarkable and can't take away from my mind that's for me.

I think 21:15 was supposed to show that he was listening to her give herself a pep talk. Because he needed it too. And he was there the day she was referring to, when she collapsed in anatomy class. I just love this show.

Dr romantic 1&2 always amaze me.. the drama rarely a romance scene between both male and female lead.. but when they had it.. even smallest romantic scene that is just like 10 minute duration ..we can feel it right away.. the writer and the actor actress from both series really amazing. Hoping for season 3 that both lead from two season can work together 🥰

i started watching doctor romantic with the sole reason that i already knew sung kyung and hyo seop from their previous dramas, and wanted to see how they would do as a pair. but then as more episodes passed by i got more and more curious of master kim. i never once heard about this drama ever and i wanted to know what led the story to that moment so i watched season 1, and itʼs honestly been such a learning experience. master kimʼs the most inspiring kdrama character iʼve ever came to watch :'( his work and views as a doctor are just so genuine and true, and hearing his advice to different people in different situations has made a huge impact in me, he taught me so much. it felt like i was also his student throughout watching the first season and now, the second as well 🥺 i donʼt want this to end :(((((

I loved that they become a slow burn couple. It was always the side couples that have slow burn relationships and somehow the stories are more realistic. When this drama shows that the main couple can have a slow burn romance and not a whirlwind or fall at first sight, I am sold. Without realising, their loves are like showing who is better at loving the other at first. Then, it becomes a complementary one. The best part? They just fight to be the best without any of them stepping down. It’s like we can both be in love but that doesn’t mean I will discount my qualifications for that love.
Dr Romantic is my favorite Kdrama series! The romance is done so tastefully, and it's not even the main plot! The real plot is so good, so so good!
Woo Jin is a complex lead, considering his past, childhood, he could never be a perfect normal romantic hero, I loved the way writer developed this story, their romance is lovely, endearing, they always had feelings for each other, it was beautiful to see how they fell for each other, always fighting yet supporting each other, thats the way it happens in real life, it was perfect, absolutely amazing chemistry between the couple, one could always see love in their eyes. Hope these two work together again.. Great story and execution ❤❤❤

Why didn't they include the backstory from med school? That was one of the highlights! (Well at least for me).. and the scene where they first had coffee in doldam. When SWJ told CEJ that he only drinks black coffee, when in fact after she left, he added milk and sugar on it... waeyo? Waeyo? It would've been their perfect first half "romance" story

however dr kang and dr yoon are looking so good together. His a bit extroverted when showing his love and affection towards dr yoon. In season two dr seo jin is an introverted person and he didn't push anything towards her he just patiently waiting for the right time till dr cha eun jae crossed the line. The two leading men are opposite in showing off their feelings to the woman they like but I love both season one and season two .however i'm into introverted personality. That's why even I love dr kang, the moves of dr seo jin are remarkable and can't take away from my mind that's for me.
