These hoods need to do a little research into the accused's right to remain silent. Friday breaks half his cases by letting the hoods tell on themselves in various ways ways, usually by letting them contradict themselves until they confess.
munstrumridcully uh you need to do some research. Miranda wasn’t in effect at that time. You have the right to remain silent but the police didn’t have to mirandize you
I think the right they should adhere to is "you have the right to have a attorney present during questioning." If you just try to remain silent Friday will pound on you for 20 hours straight until you are willing to confess to anything just to get him to shut up.
Joe: “You’re not going anywhere. Let’s go over it again, what do you say?” Uh, I say “No!” Why don’t they ever just say that? They always keep talking and then fold and confess. How about total silence, then “lawyer” over and over? Not sure how realistic these dialogues really are, especially when they result in the death of the guy confessing! Or, maybe Joe and Frank are just great interrogators! 🤷♂️😳😉
Nope. Same crap as follow the science with the covid jabs or carbon dioxide based climate change. Used as a psychological tactic of authoritarian or corporate control over the masses. Example. Cigarettes 🚬 drugs are good, none government authorised drugs are bad. Follow the science.
I love how at least one _Dragnet_ TV episode was about the evils of marijuana, yet Jack Webb hawked cigarettes-which, unlike cannabis, actually does harm. Did Webb's three-pack-a-day cigarette habit contribute to his heart attack at age 62?
Got to love Mrs. Hurley. "Not the nosy type." LOL The neighbourhood busy body. 😂😂😂
Thanks for posting these programs!!!
poor old couple ,they really got it bad.iam glad they got those guys.thanks for posting these .great shows.
Well . They got em ! Good job Guys👍🏼.
That angry woman said she isn't the nosey type. Could've fooled me.
If Miss Hurley responded to the officers today as she did back then, they probably would have tased her!!!
That neighbor is a real ironbox
Jack was on two packs a day? I figured Dragnet was doing so well, he would have been on a carton by this point...
"The Big Smoke" is practically every episode thanks to Fatima and Chesterfield.
Lol! Snort!
Double datt

@@rmedley22 good point! They need to remain silent while waiting for the attorney the requested
Miranda rights didn't become law until June 13, 1966.
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
And I think you’re just the woman who could tame the savage Friday beast Wanda! 💋😉
