I do love this video, but this entire performance has been HEAVILY remastered. You can easily find another video of this performance on UA-cam that actually is live and not retouched. Sorry to ruin the magic but Sum 41 never has and never will sound this good live, unfortunately.
@@Zetts this is how it is in the Go Chuck Yourself album, I believe it's just taken from another set because on the day the DVD was recorded they botched this song pretty hard. I think all the other songs match up.

I love Cone. His stage presence is full of energy and he gets into his performances plays like a guitarist shredding it. One of the most talented bassists I’ve ever seen. Plus he’s amazing in Operation MD too.
Leon Della Rosa They’re recording a new album which will be released next year. I like their heavier music as much as their pop punk music but I’m still hoping for a return to their roots for the next album.

I think its alcohol but also the regular aging, wear and tear from years of using his voice and cigarettes. I also preferred his voice from the DTLI and Chuck era but he still sounds fantastic, but just a bit different

So maybe "lipsynced" isn't the right word, but it's not the same performance you're hearing and seeing, the actual performance was significantly worse. With the exception of the acapella bit at 1:56, which _is_ actually from the show, the rest is all from elsewhere.
