I came to a similar realisation a few years ago. Modern pop music is so incredibly well-produced that I noticed if I try to ignore everything and just tune in to the bassline and drums, I can at least find something to enjoy in almost anything. Songs like this are a good example.

Got popcorn chicken and a small sample bucket to see how it is. It's terrible. And the popcorn chicken was just too spicy to enjoy well, not my thing. Now every time I see KFC I'm just gonna assume they're having a miserable experience putting on calories out of desperation not an irresponsible unhealthy binge. Never touching that shit again.
