Topps messed them all up marking the black borders as white borders on the card, akin to forgetting to stamp 1st on the front of Series 1 cards.

I've always wondered how many of those are sitting in boxes because people don't even realize what they have.
The black border rookie is great too. Low PR on those too.
Yeah I think black border are like to /50!! I’m guessing you’re right. A bunch of people have no idea what they have in a box lol I heard a story about a guy who bought a base rookie on eBay and a flip stock showed up
I saw a Half Case rip the other night, and they started with a hot box, and then 4 of the next 6 boxes had 24 flip stocks each, with one per pack except for a few packs missing the flip stock, and the next pack would invariably have 2 flip stocks. So that's 96 of the flip stocks gone right there.

I am 1 for 1 with Hobby Autos - I pulled a Junior Caminero auto with a Henry Davis Image and it was a purple hot box as well.

This might be a weird question but is there another way to tell if you get an auto when the base cards all have autos. I feel like I pulled an auto but really can’t tell unless I have a magnifier. Is there a number or variation code on autos?
Usually a real auto is going to be either in blue or Red ink as opposed to the black fake ones. It also will say “Topps certified autograph issue” on the front in small print

Just opened a hobby box. Like a hot box it had what I think is a special card? The last card in each pack had black text and lines rather than green. I compared it to even a dark card back and its most definitely black. I don't see that variation on Topps list tho...

Mainly just these flip stock cards and black border cards
Also, forgot to mention the throwback uniform cards. Those are super short printed and very very hard to find
