Well, people make mistakes and he is lucky no one got hurt. Hopefully he is in treatment and headed down the right path. People can turn to alcohol and drugs when they need a therapist and the right medication to help them. The good thing is that if he turns his life around and stays clean for a few years he could turn this into a real testimony to share with these kids. They make fun of him but the thing is he can relate trying to find something that can help you only to turn into an addiction. Sadly it can start anytime maybe they laugh or snicker but maybe it helps 1 person. Have an open door so they can talk to them. When his time is up show what he had to breathe in to even drive. It is humiliating and awful at his age. He hears the jokes and snickers but perhaps he is trying to get help. Many employers will save your job if you go to rehab and stay clean. This includes hospitals and everyone in it, now it does not mean have full privileges most have to be under supervision and be signed off by someone else. Giving drugs like narcotics isn’t allowed. Knowing you have a job and they care enough about you to stand by you during this time really helps. You do take responsibility you are not in a position to have complete authority or act independently for sometime and have to follow the steps of the board of licensing. Those conditions need to be met.

Before most people have babies, they need to have parenting classes. And if they do have a baby and they have a history of behavior like this, they should be fine for having one. We’re destroying so many kids by the way they are raising them. You never know what you do for your kids unless you were in that predicament but I don’t think I’d go to jail for drugs. My son hasn’t ever been arrested. He’s 36 who lives at home because I’m a partially disabled widow, he works. He pays his way, and my brother lives with me. Neither one of them have ever been arrested. After watching a lot of cop shows I realize how blessed I am because I can have money in the house, and my son does not take it. Sometimes I get frustrated with him for stupid little things. Got to stop that and realize he is a good guy as good as any human can be because none of us are good. No not one.

I stopped taking Xanax when Fedex started delivering packages I didn't remember ordering to my house. Blackouts are fairly common if you take more than are prescribed to you.

They lied to that deputy principal. They told him nobody would know about his public intoxication charge if he didn’t tell them. But then they show his arrest and booking to the whole world. It wasn’t like he’d murdered someone. His career would’ve been over because they put his face on the TV like that. That’s really harsh for such a minor charge.

Why was every guard and every inmate in that Memphis jail an African American? Was that some sort of segregated facility?? That seemed very odd...
