Still can't understand why ppl "don't want" love story in this film.. It was always clarified to be a ROMANTIC FANTASY film.. Surely the execution could have been better but for me, the ending payed off really well. Perfect example of how pre concieved notions change our reception to a film.... Anyway, part 2 is going to be a darker villain story and just can't wait for that🔥🔥

We don't want love story in this film because We have love story in almost every bollywood film and this Astra concept was something new and had potential in it, we wanted to explore astra and not romance, it also felt like a forced romance and too unrealistic.
@@keisuke6582 the director needed an emotion to bind it all together.. In RRR it was friendship, in KGF the mother-son bond. In Brahmastra it's LOVE... As director said, part 2 will be the actual deeper into the fantasy lore and the world of astras.. They had to bring up a hero in part 1, give a complete story, introduce astraverse and give audience a commercial connect to turn in for such a unique experiement. being honest, we might would have turned in for a dark Dev origin in part 1 but not the majority of audience. They need the commercial trope of romance to come into the theatres at first.
Just like Star Wars series.
Ending was cringe I guess,Isha should have died there..And how Shiva controlled Brahmastra,? In the begging of the movie we saw that there were a lot of Sadhus/Gurus who controlled it and it was very hard for them..But Shiva controlled it all alone....aise to Endgame ke end me iron man ko bhi nahi marna chiye tha..kyuki wo lead me tha
