The story was poor ... I watched that interview where srk was explaining how the scenes were shot . It was a lot of work .... yet all of it went down the drain due to this melodramatic stupid love script .... had this effort been invested in some actual Sci fi movie or something .... it would've been way Better.
script was really bad and if story ain't good then it won't work. back in the days movie were good just because of script and not just visuals
I wouldn't say the story was straight up bad. it had a beautiful message about how true love only happens once and no matter how rich or vanity you get, or no matter wherever you are, you'll always be satisfy only from your real love.
also the songs are really great this film

literally one of the most underrated movie of SRK. Heart breaks when someone tries so hard and so new but still masses go same old masala films.
What people didn't understood was the reference of time being relative in the end(same theory was used and explained in Interstellar)

this movie represents if someone cheats you and then he realised their mistake and generally try to make it right, it's hard but it is not impossible, it's so tough to regain their trust and he gets it. His journey of regaining her trust is represented by going to mars, she thought he cant be trusted and fooling her again and would run away, but he didn't and proved himself. its best representation of that, he works his best to gain her trust without expectation that he would get her back. it is best any of us can do in such situation, doing our best and hoping we can make everything right but without expecting it from her, just hoping.
This Movie had so much potential.

Story buhot weird ho jaati hai, baki sab top class thi picture mein performances, effects, songs, cinematography they were all great.

The plot, the storyline.... I can't 💀
i never watched this movie, i assumed its a terrible movie from it bombing in the box office. but watching the rewind, the story actually seems good and something original. im not sure why it bombed then. i guess the movie was too smart for the indian audience, they rather prefer brain dead movies.
Film ka screenplay kharaab tha ..story 2nd half mein drag ki thi zabardasti ...Katrina waale angle ki wjah se anushka aur SRK ke love emotions ke saath connection tut gaya audience ka ...and that mars pe jaana was unnecessary...so in short 1st half was good but 2nd half was pathetic ...this is the reason of failing of this movie at box office
