Just for context: the A6M2's 20mm cannons were from the mod 30s when they hadn't quite figured out reliable belt feeding while mounted in the wings, and thus were drum fed. The A6M3's big improvement in the late 30's and early 40's was a higher velocity 20mm cannon that was reliably belt fed stuffed into each wing, hence the jump to 200 rounds
In my Br III setup for IJA is for infantry I choose Type 99 Early because I like Ghost Ring Sight and easily to aim in mid range than the Type 38 and also Type 99 Grenade Launcher is good to huntdown the Enemy tanks Infact once i kill m26 Pershing using Type 99 Rifle Grenade Laucher. For LMG I choose I prefer the Type 99 Lmg because of punch and rate of fire which much better than Type 97 and Type 11 And for SMG my two assault Squad I rearm them SIG 1920, Late Type 100 smg and Sometimes type 2a and Mp28.
They need a decent br3 plane. The Ki61 that's br4 has the same payload as the P-51D, but the p51 is 1 br lower. If they're not gonna lower the Ki-61, they should put in the Ki-43-3 with 2x 250kg bombs, that way it has an airspawn and decent bombs.
Nice guide! The Japanese need to get the Type 4 Rifle at BR III though. Judging by the fact that most other nations get a 10 round semi-auto at BR III as well. The Type Otsu alongside the Type Hei should be moved down to BR II. Since they perform more like the Armaguerra.
In my opinion the Pacific is the map that should be designed for very short range combat, the maps lack jungles which to be honest lacks the Pacific vibe
Type 38 is a top tier bolt action. Yes it has lower than aveage damage, but it's still a bolty, so you are going to one shot 95% of your enemies at any distance. It has an incredible fire rate, and it's a BR1 weapon so it's cheap to fully upgrade. The only bolty thats better is the Lee-Enfield
Arisaka has a better fire rate, and with upgrades it feels like having the effective fire rate close to semi rifles. Why not use that, if you are going for bolt action? Do i miss something?
@@user-es1of2uz1w the type 38 is an Arisaka rifle, so is the type 99. the type 38 has lower damage due to a smaller cartridge but has a higher rate of fire. the type 99 is more powerful but has a slower rate of fire. I like the type 38 better because it still has great damage and a very high rate of fire. the type 99’s increased damage doesn’t make a huge difference and it has a noticeably slower rate of fire than most other bolt actions
not directly, but since japan is played the least overall, youll most likely get germans as enemies every time you connect. what you can also do is just instantly leave all the pacific games you get in and reconnect until you find a map you like
Honestly I encounter the opposite. High BR Japan generally has higher ranked and skilled players. Low BR Japan can be painful at times. Japan at the normally has better players since most people would quit on them. Leading to a situation similar to minor nations in games like War Thunder. Where a faction could have little players but also the most dedicated ones.

There is no penetration dropoff on the Type 4. It has a shaped charge.

they should add B6N tenzan attacker and KI 43 for the fighter for japanese BR 3
