It seems FSR, DLSS and XeSS are planned for August, it's sad that some devs still don't understand the importance of image scaling in modern gaming, specially when A LOT of people is playing on NVidia '50 series cards according to Steam data.
@@Aavash_Purple i think you're confused, frame generation is fake fps, image scaling is not. Optimization has its limit and tech like FSR is game changer for any low-end graphic card.
One important thing to note: Putting the graphics preset to high or very high enables Global Illumination, as well as dynamic lighting. So going above medium will dramatically improve the lighting, and dramatically reduce your fps. Edit: Forgot to mention it also changes the water reflection quality, it's more noticeable between very low, low and medium, I mean, "MiDdLe"
im using 3060 ti atm and when i use medium setting,the game more laggy than in very high graphic and drop my fps. im getting 90fps in very high graphic but when i use medium graphic,my fps drop to 40-50 huhu. any idea about this?
@@69XKiddo You're probably bottlenecked by CPU. It's getting maxed out since there is less work for the GPU, leading to low performance and stuttering.

i get pretty decent performance with your settings with 100% resolution. about 180ish fps at 1440p as my main monitor with another 1080p monitor connected. im running AtlasOS and have a 3070 ti, i5 13600k, 32GB DDR5 6400MHZ ram

I recently got a free new gpu, which was slightly better than the one I had previously, just less vram (8 -> 4). I now get higher frames in other games but for this game its worse, like way worse. I have a pretty decent computer and this game runs horrendously. I just started playing it and the pop in is extremely noticeable and the input delay is on another level. I even dropped the graphics settings down to medium and that didn’t help.

Wow I didn't knew you can also upscale 1080p to 1440p using Lossless Scaling? I thought we need to select 1440p as the base and then the software will reduce it to 1080p but it's nice to know that thing possible. 🤷🏻♀️
I have a i7 9750h and a 1660 ti what settings should I have? I have to keep restarting the game after every 30-50 mins because it was smooth but after that it will become stuttery even if I'm getting decent fps. Not sure if thats a game issue or mine

I'm looking for this as well. Besides taking forever to load in after teleporting or loading the game. A lot of the the graphics looks low poly for a good too long. I don't have the crappiest computer but I don't have what is now considered a high-end in todays standards, maybe 6 years ago.
I7 13700k and 4070Ti with 32GB of ram I get over 130fps maxed out on 1440p but it uses all of my pc like 100% cpu 100% gpu and 85% ram usage (with other programs open ofc but I've never seen this kind of usage ever)
I only have a RTX 2070 super, Ryzen 7, 16 GB ram, I have all the settings on high except for shadows, frame rate caped at 60 because i'm using a tv, it runs good but sometimes an enemy will lag/glitch for a second or when looting a box but i think that's to do with the connection because im in Australia playing on the south America server and it's not that stable, the best are the Asian server but i only know one language and that's bad English haha if i lower anything else the grass and trees seem to glitch, not look right, would that be my graphics card???
I have a gaming laptop with a 4050, my CPU and GPU only reach 50%, I have 16 gig memory which is use about 14 gigs while playing. No textures load in and sometimes I can't even enter a building because it hasn't loaded in. I lowered my graphics to middle and did some of the things you suggested. But nothing works. If someone can help me that would be appreciated
I have no idea how to help with that, but from my experience with a laptop with even worse specs, just wait for the graphics to load. Thats what I do most of the time

My game is maxed out(low motion blur and vsync off) at 1080p, no lag, no nothing and I have over 100 FPS all the time. R7 7700, 32GB 6000Mhz and RTX 4060 Ti 16GB
I got my pc maxed on once human I got a Ryzen 7 7800 x3D and Corsair dominator RAM two sticks of 24 each total of 48 and GPU gigabyte 4080 super and I’m pulling 180 to 210 fps at 1440p
@@Onyx1776 on Ryzen 7 series and I think others as well you need to set PBO limits in the bios and that way you get lower temps. They are pushed very hard from the factory, you just need to set some limits and offsets.
This game on steam launcher is piece of crap. If u want more fps, no stutterings then only official launcher. Dont know why but this is confirmed by many players on reddit. On netease launcher game works smooth like butter.
The game seems to be optimized pretty good, too bad it's made by a chinese company that wants all of your data and more. But hey, if you're not hiding anything or you don't care and you like the game then play it.
The game doesn't want any of your data, it has poorly worded legal policy that is applicable to your region of the world, the region of the world China is the region which is applicable to personal data/ID collection as it's standard in China

i am playing it on ghost of tsushima and it feels really good. when the frame gen is implementef natively in the game (correctly) then it feels great.
I noticed input latency for me gets worse when I set the frame rate any higher than 60.

You'll need to update this guide. The new version of Once Human has DX12 and DLSS support now.
I had no idea the "Graphics" drop down setting had so much effect on the game. Input latency is so much better now!
if you have issue with low frame rate and you have strong pc then disable the steam overlay settings in the steam app. Welcome'

Today I am getting 12fps regardless of settings. My CPU and GPU usage is 99% on both.
The only complaint i have about Once Human is that the draw distance is horrendous.

80 frames at 2k, you say? Try 15 frames at 720x480 with ultra low settings.
The settings menu is not the same anymore, they made it worse for us

they recently made a post that address CPU/GPU usage, optimizations are planned for this next week

Bro i have RTX 4090, i9-14900KF, 48gb RAM, and i have the same problem. My other games have 0% problems. I think it’s the problem of the game itself.
