It looks very nice however sound deadening before putting your carpeted trim in would be better. Also sound insulating the cab. Should go sound, then insulation for warmth and then put your carpeted trim. I know your trim doubles but it's still not going to be as quiet or as warm if you did it the other way. Road noise does just suck, eliminating that to a Rolls-Royce level would be something to aim for. That would be killing the competition.

From experience and depending on which insurance company you choose unless you modify the performance of the van the insurance policy should not increase by much.
