Fire can also represent, life while the ashes represent rebirth. Forest fires that are naturally occurring are very beneficial. So i’m wondering if these are the sort of nuances that will take place with the third movie.
Actually...... Rumour has it that when Avatar (TLA) was coming out in 2009, same time with this Avatar, Avatar (TLA) had to change their titles because it mirrored this avatar too much. Especially in the sequence of water, earth, and fire
@@owooluwaadegboyega7963 both avatar movies were released within 9 months of each other. but the real avatar released in 2005. James cameron really just copied the whole concept and made it scifi instead of fantasy
I beleive it's been teased that the "Fire" clan is so named and made to be villains is because fire consumed their spirit trees, they were cut off from Eywa, their religeon and spirirtuality. So over time their culture developed devoid of The Mother and connection to the world.
They better not kill her. If this should be progressive, then Ney Tiri should live and lead her family. Instead of yet another "man loses wife and makes a mess of the family to snap out of it eventually, when it is entirely or is almost too late". That said, it takes no family member deaths for things to be tragic. Disabilities can be very tragic if a family fails to process it. Or it can be as simple as love interests or differences in views, pulling the children to different sides. Deaths are simplistic tools. And the horrors of life can easily put death into perspective.
These comments suck man Thanks for the update! I love how Cameron is using the different elements as a form of symbolism and will plan on tackling more mature themes. What I love about this is that these aren’t just money grab sequels, they were all planned

So over time their culture developed devoid of The Mother and connection to the world. So it's not "fire=bad"
Even though the way of the water was okay it didn’t grab me like the first film did the underwater scenes were groundbreaking but I wanted to be speechless James Cameron is known for creating game changing technology especially in camera visuals I just wanna see something I’ve never seen before and can’t wait to see again!
I most likely will not watch any more Avatar films if the Great Leonopteryx doesn’t return and reunite with Jake to deal with this huge threat from the bad humans
The visuals are what draw you in, the good storyline keeps you there however, the main weakness in both the first and second film were the obvious human bad Navi good. When real life is so much gray it's fantastic to see this visually just like Gollum and Smeagol in Lord of the Rings or Thorin in The Hobbit series. I honestly can't help but feel a little bad for the humans obviously if I were in their shoes(which all of us would be). So long as they keep writing good story lines that James Cameron is known for I'll definitely keep watching these movies. I love how it's just good storytelling and it doesn't need to reflect any deeper!
I want the breath taking beauty and spirituality, not more violence and hatred. I want to be inspired, not devastated. Anyone else sick of the depths of depravity being exalted?
It's the idea that civilization corrupts man by removing him from what is though to be his natural state. Very liberal idea. Evolution goes forward and man's natural state changes as well. Nobel savage exists as much as nobel civilised man.
Ooh, so instead of Man Bad it's Fire Bad. Not the most mature theme we've seen. Even the "other Avatar" intended for children had a more nuanced approach to the elements. "Fire is life, not just destruction." I love the appearance of this Fire Clan and their mounts. Zabrak-like Na'vi with white tiger mounts. Very cool. Curiously, I don't see the neural connection between them. I'm sure it's there, but what if it wasn't? What I would appreciate more, and hope to get but doubt it, is a clan that would reject the ancestor-worship and hivemind of Ewa. Or perhaps she rejected them and that's the source of their cultural anger and sorrow?
I’m gonna be real with you I totally agree with you… I only watched it just to see the RDA. They dragged the sequel so freaking long with the same old “Humans are bad! Na'vi are good!” BS… I hope maybe in future movies the humans are the good guys. And that sully dies… No offense if you like sully, im just rooting for the RDA.
If they kill off Jake then that will be the end for me I won't watch any more if made because he's my favourite. He is the STAR of the movie / he is what makes the movie / I also wish they would make Miles (Spider) Socorro an Avatar.
@KxNOxUTA No. I'm talking people. The people who actually loved the original Avitar movie lost interest waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting. Those that are here now, many I've talk, younger people, to didn't watch the first one because it didn't interest them and now they've watched Way of Water and there is a big disconnect.
@@KxNOxUTA Cameron did a interview way back right after the original Avitar was released saying the second one wasn't too far from being complete and the 3rd, 4th, & 5th would soon follow.
There is no "waiting" to release it, these take so long to make for quality, if you really wanted to see the film in full potential you wouldnt mind waiting that long
I believe Naytiri will go on a vengance mission. Jake will be forced to go against her to keep peace and they will end up fighting. Naytiri will go to the fire clan and demand they help her find and kill the humans responsible for killing her son and it will start a war between the Na'vi.
I hope I will be alive for the 5th film due 2031. It kinda scares me to think They were supposed tobe out in 2016 and we're still waiting. If I make it. I'll be 81
I would prefer Quoridge team up with rhe blue navi, to avoid humans being kick-assed by the stronger and really evil red ones. Who would rather destroy the planet than give it to humans. Jake Sally will understand this alliance, an his wife will not. This will cause some major drama like between John Snow and his GF. Damn, Jake's GF even has a bow... And the little Ripley Navi girl wlll do something really unexpected. Her body will die or transform in the process. Eiwa will be slowly dying or growing insane. This will be the revelation point for the "unknown tribe" and humans and navi together against the fate in the next two films. But the alliance will be fragile and break two steps before victory. Just like the one 3000 years ago. And this is where Spider comes in and saves everything, bringing peace also to the main characters family.
Why couldn't he just keep them simple instead of destruction, destruction. Now he's bringing more death and destruction like every other movie and probably destroy the whole aspect of Navi people. Boring. These movies are just getting predictable.
Humans ARE evil- the ones that aren’t have zero interest in stopping the evil of their own kind. Go look at the Gisele Pelico reporting and tell me humans, especially dominator male culture, is not evil.
... the main male character is human, originally, remember? Tough I agree he's doing a poor job of representing freedom. Or rather he is poorly written for that as the movies are male centred and thus full of glorification of violence and action.
@@KxNOxUTA Jake is a character who was tasked with diplomacy but chose betrayal. If Cameron wanted maturity, he'd show how badly humanity was suffering and how badly they needed that specific resource that the Na'vi don't use, or Jake learning that he didn't have to pick a side and regretted his actions or learned balance. Not a lot of "coexist" signs from this series, which is weird for Hollywood.
It’s always the Fire Nation, in this Avatar and The Last Air Bender
I only watched this movie thinking its The Last Air Bender but little did I know that it was Aliens

the way of water was not worth the wait. it was too long and got boring tbh

It never needed a sequel
Ah Fire nation, The Usual suspect
In Europes and Asian Goddess cultures the color white & yellow represented death, as ashes with white & yellow bones from funerary fires 🔥
