Been a Christian for 50 years but this explains it very well. I get cross with the church at times how dare they manipulate people to believe that a man named Jesus created the universe . They are completely mad to believe this. God created everything including light. Hashem is the beginning and the end of all things. Shalom Alikem

      Why is Trinity wrong?
Jews, Muslims and Noahides can help Christians understand why God is not a Trinity.
Trinity contradicts the Tanakh and the Gospel.
Jesus prayed to God in all four Gospels meaning Jesus is not God meaning Trinity was invented after the time of Jesus.
The idea of three in a God head is wrong because a God head with more than one is idol worship.
The first and most important commandment of God today was the same 2000 years ago in the time of Jesus.
Gospel of Mark 12:28 “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”.
Gospel of Mark 12:29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O (all the children of) Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
      .
The beginning of prayer said by every Jew in the world 3 times a day today and 2000 years ago is "Hear O (all the children of) Israel the LORD our God the LORD is one" because this is the first and most important of the Ten Commandments of God.
      .
If a person does not understand the first Commandment of God that God is one God with no other in Isaiah 45:5 and God is not three in one because it is forbidden to liken “one with three” in Isaiah 40:25 and Isaiah 46:5 (meaning God is not the holy spirit of God who descended on Jesus like a dove meaning a body with wings meaning the holy angel of God in Gospel of Mark 1:10, Gospel of Matthew 3:16, Gospel of Luke 3:22, Gospel of John 1:32, Daniel 9:21 and God is not the man Jesus) then all the other commandments of God will have no value (as explained in Gospel of Mark 13:32 and Gospel of Matthew 24:36 warning humans not to confuse the human and angel messengers of God with God) because prayer to anything except God (who is the only one who knows "the hour" in Gospel of Mark 13:32 and Gospel of Matthew 24:36 means God is one and not three in one because both the holy spirit of God meaning the holy angel of God and the man Jesus do not know "the hour" because God has said only God knows this information in Gospel of Mark 13:32 and Gospel of Matthew 24:36 meaning God is one and not three in one meaning prayer to anyone except God) is prayer to a creation which is called adultery against God when you believe in God but pray to a creation (a mediator or intercessor or intermediator) for intercession between you and God (because only the one God has the power to hear prayer and to save people in Isaiah 43:11) or is called idol worship when you do not pray directly only to God.
      .
Christians who understand the first Commandment of God is "God is one" not "three in one" do not believe God is a Trinity of "three in one" because Trinity also contradicts the Gospel of Mark 13:32 and Gospel of Matthew 24:36.
      .
Gospel of Mark 13:32 "But as to that day or that hour (the time of the Day of Resurrection), no one knows, not even the angels in heaven (the Holy Spirit and the other angels who are servants of God), not even the son (Jesus who is a servant of God), but only the Father (God, who is the Father of every creation).
      .
Gospel of Matthew 24:36 But as for that day and hour (of the Day of Resurrection), no one knows it except the Father (God) alone; not even the angels of heaven (the Holy Spirit and the other angels who are servants of God), not even the son (Jesus who is a servant of God).
      .
Note 1. If God is one then the Gospel would teach that Jesus does not know the hour.
Note 2. If God is three in one then the Gospel would teach both Jesus and God know the hour.
Note 3. In the Gospel Jesus is not God because Jesus does not know the hour meaning the teaching that Jesus is God or part of God contradicts the Gospel meaning Trinity was invented after the time of Jesus and after the writing of the Gospels.
Note 4. There is only one God because no one is equal to God not Jesus and not the angels.
Note 5. Jesus is like the angels and other creations meaning Jesus is not like God.
In the Gospel Jesus is not God or part of God because Jesus does not know “the hour” because only God knows “the hour” meaning “God is one’ not three in one.
      .
Jesus is the son of man meaning he is a human messenger of God and he is the son of God meaning he is the servant of God delivering the message of God so his mention with angels in Gospel of Mark 13:32 and Gospel of Matthew 24:36 means that angel messengers of God and human messengers of God both do not know the hour meaning do not confuse angel and human messengers with God because only God knows the hour but His angel and human messengers like Jesus and Moses do not know the hour meaning pray only to God and not to the angel and human messengers of God.
      .
      1. Before the crucifixion Jesus said he is not God.
Gospel of Matthew 23:9 And call no one on earth your Father (God who is the creator of every creation), because there is only one Father (God) for you, the heavenly one.
Note 1. God is the Father of every creation.
Note 2. Jesus is teaching humans not to worship anything or anyone that is on the earth because everything on the earth including Jesus is a creation.
Note 3. Jesus is teaching that nothing on the earth including Jesus is God.
Note 4. Jesus is teaching that the only God is the one God in heaven.
Note 5. To show that Jesus who is on the earth is not God the words “God in heaven" are used in the expression “there is only one Father (God) for you, the heavenly one.”
      .
      2. During the crucifixion Jesus said he is not God.
On the cross Jesus again teaches he is not God by saying “My God my God why have you forsaken me” meaning Jesus is asking God to save him and God saved Jesus from death on the cross with sleep that looked like death as described in the Gospel of Mark 5:39 "... The child is not dead but sleeping", Gospel of Matthew 9:24 "... For the maiden meaning the girl has not died but sleeps ..." and the Gospel of Luke 8:52 "... She is not dead but sleeping". ” … and Gospel of Luke 8:54 - 8:55 “…"Damsel meaning girl, wake up!" And her spirit returned,
      .
      3. After the crucifixion Jesus said he is not God.
After the crucifixion Jesus again teaches he is not God in the Gospel of John 20:17 by Jesus saying “God is my God and your God” meaning God is my Lord and your Lord and saying “God is my father and your father” meaning God is my creator and your creator.
      .
Trinity adds to the original word “God is one” with new words “God is three in one” meaning Trinity violates the command in the Torah Taurat not to add anything to it in Deuteronomy 4:2 .
The human mind can find ways to believe anything when it adds or subtracts to the teachings in the Torah Taurat which is the original word God said will never change and must be followed forever meaning God will never change it in Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3.
Whatever in the Gospel confirms the Tanakh Jewish scripture came from Jesus however whatever in the Gospel contradicts the Tanakh Jewish scripture did not come from Jesus.
      .
The problem with Trinity is that it adds to the Torah which forbids adding anything to it meaning the first and most important commandment given by God to all humans is "God is one" (without adding God is a Trinity of three in one).
God protected the message that "God is one" in the Torah by forbidding anyone from adding or subtracting from this commandment of God.
The result of adding or subtracting from this commandment results in the idol worship of creations instead of the creator and this is why God forbade anyone from adding or subtracting from the Torah commandments.
      .
This means anyone who added "God is a Trinity" must be a false prophet because they have violated the first and most important of the Ten Commandments of God.
      .
If you look at those who believed in Trinity you will find that they also violated the second commandment of God prohibiting the building of statues in the form of a man or a woman (Deuteronomy 4:15 - 4:16) in places of worship.

      .
      7. Prophet Moses is called “God” in Exodus 7:1 (but Prophet Moses is not God) and Prophet Isaiah is called “God” in Isaiah 7:10 (but Prophet Isaiah is not God) instead they are called God only meaning that the words of Moses and Isaiah are the words of God in Deuteronomy 18:18 meaning when you are in front of a prophet you are listening to God talking to you through the mouth of the prophets of God.

      .
      10. Moses in Deuteronomy 17:8 - 17:13 and Jesus in Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3 both say listen to the rabbis and do what they tell you.
The teachings of Jesus is that the Tanakh Jewish scripture (Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20) and the rabbis (Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3) have the correct word of God which no one can change and must be followed forever by the Jewish people meaning the truth is with the Jews.
If you are not following the Jewish teachings of the rabbis then you are not following Jesus.
You might be following the teachings of Paul who claims that the Torah is outdated and will soon fade away which is opposite to what Jesus says in the Gospel (Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20).

Art focused on ALMIGHTY GOD is as a hymn or beautifull loaf of bread or a fine Golden candlestick it focus your thoughts on the Almighty ,like a warrior in his garb of old gaul its not an idol , its a focal point because man is easily tempted so we put these reminders as God is the Word better a sculpture or song or painting dedicated to Almighty God then to Elvis or some politician

@Space Man The Christian's bibles are just very badly mistranslated and corrupted versions of the Torah/Tanach, The Real Word of G_d, with a whole lot changed including names, a whole lot added, and a whole lot taken out. Everything that G_d said not to do, Christianity did! Christianity adopted way too many idolatrous and pagan beliefs contrary to what The One True Creator G_d actually said. Try actually reading the scriptures where G_d gave the Torah and the Commandments to Mosche and the Children/Nation of Israel on Mt. Sinai. G_d specifically told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendents all through time are to Never veer to the right nor left of the Torah/Tanach! Never! G_d also told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendents all through time are to Never accept anybody else's religion! Never! G_d warned us about Christianity thousands of years ago. Christianity is not the group that they claim to be, Christianity is a Wolf in Sheep's clothing!

The Lord Jesus is The Prophet Foretold by Moses
Deuteronomy 18:15-19 - The Foretold Prophet
      15 The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
16 According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
17 And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
The LORD told Moses that he was going to raise up a Prophet from the midst of Israel who will be like Moses in that he would speak unto the people ALL the God shall command.
The Lord Jesus is/was that prophet foretold by Moses...
John 5:39-47 Jesus of Nazareth tells the Jews, He is That Prophet
39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
41 I receive not honour from men.
42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me.
47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
The Lord Jesus was getting challenged by the Judaeans for things that he had done and said. When they he questioned him, above is the answer he gave in John 5:39-47.
Later, in John 7 the Judaeans marvelled at his doctrine - how could he say and know these things? They were answered by Jesus of Nazareth...
      John 7:15-24
15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?
20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Then after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and being seen by more that 500 brethren this occurred in the book of Acts...
Acts 2:14, 22-32 The Apostle Peter Explains to the people..
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
      30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
And in Acts 3:19-23 The Apostle Peter Confirms JESUS as THAT PROPHET
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
Then Stephen the Evangelist also confirmed Jesus of Nazareth as THE PROPHET spoken by Moses...
      ACTS 7:37-41
37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:
39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,
40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
As THAT PROPHET THE LORD JESUS spake not his own words, but words that came from THE FATHER, THE GOD OF ISRAEL.

Ethics of the Fathers 5:1 teaches: "The universe was created by means of Ten [Divine] Utterances." These are God's statements in Genesis ch. 1 that constantly call everything in the spiritual and physical realms into existence. The ten verses are listed in Genesis Rabbah 17:1. The creative life-forces that flow from these everlasting statements are the Hebrew letters of the Divine speech, and the infinite number of combinations that God forms from them.

If you learn Hebrew you will witness the great power of the Hebrew morphology - the root system and binyanim&mishkalim. This system make hidden and esoteric connections between words. That's why you'll never understand our bible if you won't learn Hebrew. Basically now you live in a lie, and the church has its motive to not let you learn it, because if you'll learn it you'll probably doubt its doctrine.

@@tonybuck1225 "If God sent himself to earth as Jesus, who was reigning from heaven during that time? And who raised Jesus from the dead? Who was He praying to? Himself?" Uh, exactly our point. Read you comment back slowly to yourself. And you are claiming WE are the cult?
Because we do not believe that "God" sent Himself to die for our sins, so He could then raise Himself up and prepare a Kingdom for Himself where He will sit on His own right hand to rule and reign with His people, all while not doing His own will but the will of Him who sent Him....His Father...or I mean, His will...wait a minute...This is NONSENSE.
We are not denying anything other than the absolute QUAGMIRE that is the Trinitarian doctrine. You HAVE to call it a miracle, otherwise, you might have to explain it. Which obviously, can't be done as per your comment. We do not believe Messiah prayed to himself, we do not believe Messiah raised himself up, we do not believe that the Messiah will sit on the right hand of HIMSELF to rule. We believe what the scripture says.
John 14:28: My Father is greater than I."
John 5:30: By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.We do not believe we have to do mental gymnastics in order to explain the Son's relationship with the Father. It was MAN who came up with the Trinity, not scripture. The Messiah didn't believe it, the apostles didn't believe it, it was only hundreds of years AFTER messiah that the Trinity finally gained some foot hold. Even then it was hardly unanimous. And obviously back then being in the doctrinal minority in the Church was a quick way to be exiled, or killed so it isn't like there was even much of a debate.
The Trinity is nothing but proof of the Messiah's warning to the pharisees in Matt 15:7-9 Hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied rightly concerning you, saying, 8'This people honors Me with the lips, but their heart is kept far away from Me. 9And in vain they worship Me, TEACHING AS DOCTRINE THE PRESCEPTS OF MEN.
You will not find the Trinity in the text of the scriptures. Period. Even the go to verses like 1 John 5:7 are KNOWN additions to the word.

      @tonybuck1225 Рік тому +1

@@ajjony4866 God was reigning in Heaven. He can be everywhere at once.
Moreover, although God is One, within God there is a constant loving interplay between Father, Son and Holy Spirit - that is, between Mind,
      Thought and Love.
The doctrine of the Trinity is implicit throughout the Gospels.
And as the Church - which is as authoritative as Scripture - says God is Trinity, the Trinity exists.

The original definition as Tovia puts it can also be described as command. So word in English also means command. I am very grateful to Allah. I wish my Catholic family would wake up. I actually found a Bible translation that used command instead of word, that God created the world through his command....she just jumped to the beginning of John's gospel, so that was the end of that. Proverbs chapter 8
22 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
    30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.
36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

I believe I have always been a Jew, however have been taught in a Christian home with parents who did their best and believed Christianity was the way, I'm grateful to them because maybe other wise I wouldn't have known about God, and I would not be able to search for a deeper connection. What I have learned and practiced on my own has actually connected me to HASHEM, I am just a baby and been on my own doing this, everything the Christian church promised and never delivered I have been receiving in Judaism. I have searched and wandered felt hopeless new I was never home like a dog chasing its tail id circle around in different organizations all of them prepared me for "HOME" Along with what HASHEM placed in me, I now make sense to myself learning Torah and how to follow the commandments. Please if you can help me find a legit Rabbi that can help me with my conversion I would be so grateful. I've reached out to others with no response. I AM A JEW, MY SOUL HAS ALWAYS BEEN JEWISH, Judaism helps me recognize my identity and I want to be under the right authority and learn from those ordained to train me up. Thank you.

      30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

Christians it appears have this strange idea in their heads that "in the beginning" means the start of eternity. Eternity has no "beginning". "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was [a Lesser] God.". Gods beget Lesser Gods. Lesser Gods beget multiple sets of Major and Minor identical twin (Hebrew: KEPHEL) demigoddesses/demigods -- per the secrets of wisdom JOB 11:6. This is asexual reproduction, folks, that took place in heaven before all worlds were formed. This was the beginning. Only God is eternal. The Lesser Gods and demigoddesses/demigods of the holy divine Judeo-Christian Trinity, God's divine family, are not eternal. THEY HAD A BEGINNING. The Lesser Gods are Gods Children. The demigoddesses/demigods are God's Grandchildren. One day we will be adopted into this divine family of God when we put on immortality and become like the demigoddesses/demigods. There is one exception. The Holy Spirit, who never manifests in all its fullness the way Jesus Christ has as the fullness of the Son of God, has begotten the Daughter of God, who is technically a Granddaughter of God. Heaven calls her God's Daughter. We should too. She is the HIGH Demigoddess Mary Magdalene and her twin Joan of Arc. Mary is the brazen Laver in the Outer Courtyard of the heavenly tabernacle. Joan is the brazen Altar of Burnt Sacrifice. Two BRAZEN teen girls, matching twin fawns of a gazelle, one a reformed harlot, the other a cross-dressing virgin.

Light doesn't experience time. You can't have time without matter. Time is a property of matter. Light simply moves at the speed of causality in reference to matter. Matter's time slows down in relation to other material objects to keep light at the speed of causality. Infact, when the last black holes disintegrate via means of hawking radiation into electro magnetic radiation (ie light) that will be the last matter, and thus there will be no time and possibly no space. Because in addition to light not experiencing time it seems to only have spatial relationship in reference to matter. I find Tovia's perspective really interesting as im an ex evangelical Christan come Atheist. I always tune in to get his perspective - but he is wrong about the light/time relationship.

In Isaiah 42, it talks about a man in the deserts, in the villages of Kedar, Mount Sela, which is in Saudi a man will come and he will destroy the idols and take people from Darkness into Light. A new song will be Sung, which is Arabic Quran recitation. The jew moved to Madinah and different parts of Arabia they also changed their language from Hebrew to Arabic they were awaiting the Prophet that was said to come but when they found he was an Arab prophet they denied him a few followed but most did not. Other prophets were also denied and some killed, including Jesus, but he wasn't killed. God raised him up.

Answers to tough questions in a way we can easily understand. When the fog lifts the view always improves. For years I have said the first creation was time. Without time, there can be no order in the Universe. Without time, every event, past, present, and future would collide and chaos is the result, the opposite of time (order).
HaShem a perfect G-d created imperfect humans with free will. His plan was perfect. If the plan was for humans to be perfect from the start, we would have been created perfect from the start. Dear Rabbi Tovia Singer.
You are such an intelligent man and so much yo know about the Jewish Holy Book and the prophets. I just like to tell what I believe.
Genesis 1: ”In the beginning God (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God (wə·rū·aḥ) was hovering over the waters. And God (Elohinm) said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness”.
John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 9 That was the true Light, which lighted every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth”.
Genesis 3: 8: ” Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God (Elohim Yah·weh ) Jahwe has he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day (לְר֣וּחַ , lə·rū·aḥ ) and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden”. Verse 15 ”And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers (virgin Mary / Jesus) ; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” (Crucified)
The Christian beliefs: Matthew’s use of the prophecy because the Holy Spirit assures us that the far (ultimate) fulfillment of Isaiah 7 is found in the virgin birth of Jesus. Mary was the foretold virgin through whom God gave Jesus as the sign proving that he would be with his people to save them. (quote)
As God Yahweh transfigured himself to Abram in the manner of a human being (Genesis 18:1) So, the nature of God Yahweh in Judaism is the able to change ”to be what ever God choose to be” and as the spirit Ruach. To day we live according to the Words of Jesus. You cannot live with the words of Moses (and not even the Jews do), but only of Jesus. We love the commandments, but the rest we cannot allow. This is what I believe as a Christian. God Bless you.

I dont understand how Christianity is idolatry if original Christianity was gnostic Christianity and Jesus said the god of this world is Satan and the christ and ruach haqodesh resides within it is certain Jesus was against anything of this world so how could he and early Christians be idolators if they rejected the world as they were rejected? It is a contradiction and deliberate attempt to ignore this from Tovia , unless he is referring to post nicean council Christianity in which the Roman's and pagans did worship idols but that doesn't mean their Christianity is what Jesus (the jew) taught , Jesus seems to have been a kabbalist as well and the jews find things he says to be taken litterally when he , like solomon, spoke in parables. Enoch, the ancestor of Noah also speaks of the messiah and the son of man, but this is taboo for zionist jews because it rebukes much of what they believe about the messiah and they will not speak on this topic either

In the absence of the Temple, the Rabbis are our spiritual teachers, since they (and ONLY THEY!) have been studying the original, ETERNAL (i.e. STILL in effect and binding TODAY - a LIVING document!) Hebrew scriptures all the way back to Mt. Sinai.

The word “word” in John 1, is the Greek and Hebrew word - Logos and Dabar. In the beginning was the “PLAN” (a collection of thought). The pagan church twisted John to make it seem to say “Y’shua was at the beginning with Yah when He created all things.” This is false. There was nobody with Yah when He created all things. Yes, I believe that Y’shua was the Messiah, but do I believe that Y’shua is Yah in the flesh? That is a resounding NO!!!

According to John the Word is the Son of God sent by his Father. The Son said I and my Father are One- God is One. And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. God made Man in his image and his Son was begotten in his image not as an idol- the Father does not fashion living idols. In the beginning exists One True God (with his active Word and the Holy Spirit) who acts as One in creating the heavens and the earth, material and living creatures. Finally, he forms the body as a Temple for his Spirit to dwell in: Adam became a living soul and Messiah the life-giving Spirit, see Genesis Chapters 1, 2; John 1, & 1 Corinthians 15:44-46.

Who is God? If we are talking about ”the Creator” also mentioned in the Jewish Holy book, we don`t know who God is. The Jewish Holy book tells about ”God the Creator” as an identity being who is able to visit the humans on this planet Earth. (we Christians believe God is Spirit, Ruach)
”God the creator” visited humans and spoke to them to understand the words from the God, says the Jewish Holy book. Genesis 2:15.
God the Creator also talked to some other: (Genesis 2: 18) ”The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” Quote
Genesis 3: 8 ”Then the man and his wife heard the Lord God (Yahweh) walking in the garden. It was during the coolest time of the day (it was ”lə·rū·aḥ” )”.
Here we write the year about 8.000 to 5.000 BCE - What language was spoken in the garden of Eden we don`t know. So, how could their ancestors tell the story? We don`t know, but we have the story.
Remember the The Epic of Gilgamesh that was written some 1000 years before the writings of the Jewish Holy book and the language that was spoken before the Hebrew.

“Akkadian is an extinct East Semitic language that was spoken in ancient Mesopotamia from the third millennium BC until its gradual replacement in common use by the Akkadian-influenced Old Aramaic among Mesopotamians by the 8th century BC”. Quote.
In humanlike body. Genesis 18: ”The Lord (Yahweh) appeared to Abraham near the large trees of Mamre. Abraham was sitting at the entrance to his tent. It was the hottest time of the day. 8 Then he brought some butter and milk and the calf that had been prepared. He served them to the three men. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree”. Quote.
”God the creator” can appear as human being and together with 2 more following him and can eat food. Ant talks with Abram and Saraj so they had a conversation.
Exodus 19: ” … 12 Let the people know the places all around that they must not pass. Tell them, ‘Be careful that you do not go up on the mountain or touch any place around it. Whoever touches the mountain will be put to death. 13 No hand will touch him. But he will be killed with stones or arrows. If he be animal or man, he will not live.’ When a long sound from a horn is heard, they may come up to the mountain.”
16 On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning. A cloud covered the mountain, and a very loud horn sounded. 18 Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord came down upon it in fire. Its smoke went up like the smoke of a stove. And the whole mountain shook. 19 The sound of the horn became louder and louder. Moses spoke, and God (Yahweh) answered him with thunder. 20 Then the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. The Lord (Yahweh) called Moses to the top of the mountain, and he went up”.
”God the Creator” we are talking about in the Jewish Holy book, can talk so Moses can hear it and understand. Moses was an Hebrew infant, brought up in the house of Pharaoh and spoke the native Egyptian language as first language, but with his mother as nurse and his sister ”taking care of him from infant”, he spoke Hebrew as second language.

It seems to me the written Torah opens saying that darkness preceded light. "Darkness" -was- ..finally in verse 3 light was added.took a long time for science to catch up to opening of written Torah. Modern science agrees there could not be light until the creation began to cool.. The expression in the beginning (breshis) is brilliant. A human author would have opened instead with "once upon a time.
" In the beginning " nicely excludes time as we know it.. Torah says 'one day' of creation not the first day. Time is spooling up..2nd,3rd etc follow in 'time'
[Remember the "Great war" of nineteen teen years was not referred to as World War l until WW2 began]
Summing up, Don't trust a translation of the Torah that refers to a " first day " of creation !

Isaiah 53) The Sacrificial Servant of The Lord
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Philippians 2:5-11 The SAME SERVANT EXALTED
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
      10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The meaning of "In the beginning was the word" in John is simply that all that originally existed in the entire universe was the consciousness of God. Without thought there is no consciousness, and without words there is no thought, so word means consciousness. That consciousness was the mind of God who simply imagined everything that exists. All that exists is in the mind of God. The material world, the Earth, is deliberately imperfect because it was created as a trial for the souls of those who rebelled against God, were defeated and imprisoned in the world on trial. It is about transcendance. Transcending the world of pain and cruelty by perfecting the soul so that it can return to the presence of God. The sufferings of the world are part of the process of improving the soul. Jesus was a teacher, not a God, who interceded to teach man how better to transcend the world and return to the Kingdom of God, where he came from. He was the "Son of God" who was born as a "Son of Man". He begged God to come to teach man, then returned to his father when his mission was completed.

After these things the word of Adonai came to Abram in a vision saying, “Do not fear, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.” But Abram said, “My Lord Adonai, what will You give me, since I am living without children, and the heir of my household is Eliezer of Damascus?” Then Abram said, “Look! You have given me no seed, so a house-born servant is my heir.” Then behold, the word of Adonai came to him saying, “This one will not be your heir, but in fact, one who will come from your own body will be your heir. He took him outside and said, “Look up now, at the sky, and count the stars-if you are able to count them.” Then He said to him, “So shall your seed be.”
    Genesis 15:1‭-‬5 TLV
Why does the Word of Hashem come to Abram in a vision? How does Abram *see* a *voice* ?
How does the Word of Hashem take Abram outside, or physically come to him?

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 It does not say Hashem came. It says the word came. And Abraham saw it in a vision.
As Rabbi said, the truth is simple. How did Abraham see the word?

You have your own commandments to follow as a gentile. Read into Noahide laws and stop worshipping idols (dead Jew).

I find the Logos Doctrine the least idolatrous idea in Christianity.
    Tillich:
"All idoltary is nothing else than absolutizing of symbols of the Holy and making them identical with the Holy itself"
Any monotheism is not automatically free of idolatry. It usually hides itself in Christianity not with graven images per se but a type of profane literalism and inerrancy doctrine.

I missed the part where he connected the demiurge, gnosticism and idolatry with John 1 the logos (counsel / word). Seems more like he's just making some vague references and everyone assumes he knows something. The Greek word logos was a philosophical construct to indicate everything in creation was planned by an intelligence. Various philosophers made up their own versions of it, as did Philo. Philo blended his logos with Jewish concepts. John simply reuses a popular philosophical construct to indicate the truth. It's not even about pre-existence or Trinity (that's an entirely different misreading). There is no demiurge in the Bible. Mr Singer is smoking something or maybe intentionally making stuff up, like at one point he admits he made some stuff up about not brushing their teeth, stuff just sorta spues out of his mouth.

The Lord Jesus is The Prophet Foretold by Moses
Deuteronomy 18:15-19 - The Foretold Prophet
      15 The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
      30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
