  • Chocolate Nut Wafer Cake is a layered no-bake dessert made with crispy wafer sheets, chocolate, nuts, and ground biscuits. It's perfect for any occasion!
    Chocolate Nut Wafer Cake
    Ingredients:
    Milk: 250ml
    Sugar: 150g
    Butter: 200g
    Dark Chocolate: 100g
    Vanilla Essence: 2 tsp
    Ground Nuts: 300g total
    (Walnuts: 200g, Hazelnuts: 100g or half and half)
    Ground Biscuits: 200g
    Wafer Sheets: 6 (square-shaped)
    Instructions:
    Prepare the Mixture:
    Pour milk into a pan and bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally.
    Add sugar to the boiling milk and stir until it is fully dissolved.
    Reduce the heat to low and add butter. Continue stirring until the butter is melted and fully incorporated.
    Add dark chocolate and stir until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
    Stir in vanilla essence.
    Add the ground nut mix (walnuts and hazelnuts) and ground biscuits. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
    Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down to a light warm temperature.
    Assemble the Wafer Cake:
    Place one wafer sheet on a flat surface.
    Spread a layer of the chocolate-nut mixture evenly over the wafer sheet.
    Repeat this process, layering each wafer sheet with the mixture, until all 6 layers are stacked.
    Set the Cake:
    Place some medium-weight books or a flat, heavy object on top of the layered wafers to compress the layers and allow the mixture to set firmly.
    Leave the cake to set for about 4 hours.
    Serve:
    Once set, remove the weight and cut the cake into your desired shapes. Diagonal cuts work well for a visually appealing presentation.
