Arguably very true, as long as you rebuild the heads and I don't mean having GM replace them. They need to be sent out and have the old valve guides machined out and sleeved with new and better steel.

My grandpa friend let me drive his to prom when I was in high sch, 2014, when I first got to drive it so he could show me how to drive it. At the first stop sign he told me to floor it 😂. That car was so fast. I had a cbr 1000rr street bike and something about the car was just so fun... I got to drive it several hours and several pulls lol
I’ve been a corvette guy my whole life. I’m 61 now and still have my C5 triple black convertible. Never owned an automatic car go myself. The C5 is showing her age. Second gear syncro is shot. I absolutely love the viper. Don’t see too many here in Delray Beach Florida. I bought a few tee shirts again hoping for a win. It would be the only thing I ever won. @electronicinfern... as Todd Dooley has already mentioned, the recirculation button when depressed recirculates the cool air already in the cabin instead of gathering fresh hot and humid air from the outside. In most cars when it is very hot out the climate control will automatically initiate the recirculation switch to cool the passenger compartment faster and not force the compressor to work so hard to cool the very hot and humid air from outside.
PS... as a secondary use the recirculation switch can also be used to keep outside smells from entering the cabin when driving through a particular area that may have a foul smell or a car that is blowing smoke from the exhaust.

I’ve had my ‘10 C6 ZR1 for over 9 years. With a 6 year extended GMPP warranty, I kept it stock for the whole 9 years. Still fast and fun. A few weeks back, with warranty now gone, I went ahead and did pulley, headers, and E85. Just those mods, it went from 545rwhp to 663rwhp. It feels and sounds like a rocket ship now. I LOVE IT. It’s even more fun to drive than my 991.2 GT3. Not too many cars could keep my interest for that long. Buy it, StreetSpeed717!!
Being from PA as well, I would check your girlfriends cabin filter and change if needed and also check the evaporator coil. It will probably be jammed up with pollen. Clean if necessary. Dirty air filter will cause less air movement and a dirty coil will cause less cooler air. Or it could be low on charge (refrigerant) as well. But I bet its one of them 3 options that is causing air conditioning performance issues in her Toyota.

Ya'll think the ZR1 is just lame because it's a C4. Legitimately a legendary vehicle. Way more advanced than any other Corvette up until the C6 Z06 or ZR1. Full exhaust, ported intake, and tune and they make 550+hp. Credit is due.
Check the cabin air filter in the Toyota. If it is clogged with crap as those cabin air filters do, it will restrict air flow. The a/c could be much better
What you guys are doing for that husky is amazing that really tells me who you and your girl really are it's very difficult to take care of an old dog and even more difficult getting an old dog knowing you're going to get attached and the dog won't be around much longer I lost my pitbull Trooper back in 2016 and I still haven't gotten over it
You should get color matched mirrors and get the plastic pieces on the fenders replaced with color matched ones it would definitely help the truck look much nicer

You're well on your way to having a great ZR-1 collection already if you get this C6. If you get a C4 ZR-1, get the later version. The early C4 ZR-1s had 375 horsepower. The later versions had 405 horsepower. You know you'll get the C8 ZR-1 when it comes out. That will be awesome. Then you'll just have one more to get to complete your collection, the original, hard to find ZR--1. That would be an awesome collection. Looking forward to ZR-1 content.
I love my 03 Z06 🥰... Next step up is a C6 Z06 or if I'm lucky a ZR1. First ZR1 I ever saw was the C4 with the LT5 engine by Mercury Marine. Absolutely incredible machine and a bulletproof engine.

Mike, for your FYI, C4 ZR1 1990-92 375HP. 1993-95 405HP. 0-60 4.3-4.5. 1/4 Mile 12.7-12.9. Top Speed 182-186MPH. Amazing supercar of it's time, and still competitive today. ;) C6 ZR1 is faster over 120mph than the C7 Z06, but not before. Both cars can run high 10's in the quarter, and the ZR1 has a slightly higher top speed, while Z06 handles better. Oh, and if you put that C6 ZR1 as a giveaway, IM GOING TO WIN IT!! ;p

Mike curb weight and gross vehicle weight are very important to know, you refer to cars curb weights like it’s how they are as you sit in them. But if you look your gross vehicle weight is the weight of your specific vehicle how it came show floor out of the factory. C7s weight like 4200-4400 lbs I forgot exactly

That aftermarket head unit on the Z06 has Apple carplay and Android auto. Definitely a good quality unit. The guy didn't cheap out.
