Oh, those trims! I love them so much, and you are right, that pattern is perfect for using them. For the bolder pink one I was imagining it on a little black top, but that is the 80s in me, love a black and bright pink moment.
Hi Hayley 🤗 love your dress and the fabric in your BTPD box is beautiful. What a fabulous day you had at the show hopefully there will be more coming up. I’ll send you a link to a Haptic and Hue podcast about a quilt that was made on a convict ship its fascinating 🥰 take care lovely Hayley 🤗
Love the dress Hayley, it looks stunning on you❤the box opening was joyous as always and thanks for sharing your craft day experience, love the red pins xx
Hi Hayley, I love your dress it’s really lovely on you ❤ and the fabric…..😮wow, it is beautiful ,can’t wait later in the year when your summer is approaching what you are going to sew (just a horrible thought , then we are midst of our awful grey winter) Summer so far has been hit and miss ,one day summer two days rain it seems that this will be continued all season long ,sending much love and happy sewing 🧵
Beautiful BTPD fabric and your SA dress is lovely. The craft fayre sounded great, you made some fab purchases. Your animal print house interior is giving me après ski/log cabin vibes…I love it!
Lovely dress looks fabulous I have this pattern like you don't like summer although it's 5 at the moment at the granite belt so I'm in warm sewing mode at the moment have a great week 😊😊😊
Thank you for starting my day with a giggle, Hayley! Your dress is lovely. I have the Asher pattern too, so I'm looking forward to hearing how it came together.
Hi Cara 🙋🏻♀️ I am doing very well! Hope you are too 🌻🌻 I’ve got your latest video to watch, I’m loving the Cuba Libre dress and will be recommending it to a friend who’s looking for a wedding guest dress 💃🏻
Oh wow! That is so fantastic! Those quilts were staggeringly fabulous! Send her congratulations and admiration from me! As for the dress… go on, do it 😉😏
Love the dress! I have that pattern too and plan on making it next. I have a lot of sewing plans and not nearly enough time and energy to do them right now. I would definitely like some warmer weather but I'm not ready for summer! Can't wait to see what you make with that beautiful fabric 😊
Hi Hayley, your dress looks fabulous and the fabric in your pink door box is gorgeous, I love it. The trims are very pretty as is the pearlised pink buttons, looks like you had a great time, thanks for sharing, Deb 🪡🧵💕
What a great turn around to that dress. We all have whoopsi moments and to manage to get it wearable is a challenge and head scratching sometimes. I would never have known any different. It looks great on you so well done. I bought some buttons from that stall when they came to our town. They were the button version of your buckle. I replaced black buttons on a winter coat that I've had for years to give it a lift. Look forward to your next instalment.
Thanks Monz, I was relieved it was still wearable and I’ve been asked to make one for a lady at work, even after telling her my oops!! Not sure I’ll be taking her up on the offer though, but it was a compliment to be asked! Im surprised there weren’t more button sellers at the craft alive event, I’m sure they would make a killing!
@@TheHaymeadow I live in regional northeast Victoria so our event is not very big. They still have some great products and interesting stalls and plenty to look at. I must admit though I would like to see some stalls that cater to the dressmaker too. I see the events they have in the U.K. and they look amazing. Maybe one day.The quilts are amazing and can understand why you had difficulty picking your favourite.
Hayley just watched the British sewing bee. The competitors had a designer style pattern to make up. Guess what? There was a half belt with buttons. ON THE INSIDE. You are on trend!,

"Just one moment please!" I thought our (smiley) Deb had entered the building 😆
Funny you should say that, I thought the same when I watched it back for editing! I’ll call it my homage to Deb 😉. It’s her influence!!!
Hayley, I have an unpicker with a wooden turned handle. It fits in my hand comfortably, I don't have to cramp my hand to grasp the tiny handle.💜💜

Love how the Naomi dress looks on you. You are tempting me to also look at that pattern! One of my friends won a prize in the Quilt Show.
