- In this video, I'm doing a comparison and review of the Tizo sunscreens. I'm be looking at which one is the best for you, based on your skin type.
Tizo is a mineral sunscreen company that makes a variety of products, including face, body and mineral sunscreens. In this video, I'm looking at the sampler pack of Tizo sunscreens and comparing them against each other. I'll also be doing a try-on so you can see how the products look on different skin types in studio and natural lighting.

BEST INGREDIENTS! only sunscreen i have found without coconut ingredients and without a bunch of oils!
Thank you for comparing these! The tinted AM Replenish is my fave SPF out of the handful of mineral ones I use. It's not too drying, good for sensitive skin, leaves a natural finish, no white cast, plays well with skincare and beautifully under makeup. It's pricey but worth it. And yes, the primer version is more drying thru out the day. 🌞
TIZO’s sister company is CoTZ. Many of their formulas are 100% identical, but CoTZ is significantly cheaper and easier to find. They also share the weird acronyms in their brand name 😂

Would definitely like to hear more of your thoughts on that solvent that's in some mineral sunscreens that are considered "chemical actives" but are listed in the inactive ingredients list.
I honestly am ok with it. I think if you have an allergy to it or just don’t like the thought of it, then stay away. For me, there are bigger issues in life than Butyloctyl Salicylate. I know many won’t like that answer, and maybe one day I’ll change my mind, but that’s where I stand at the moment
@@DanaRipperton I'm sure anyone who wears chemical sunscreens like you do would be ok with it ,when I asked your thoughts about it i just wanted to know if you thought it was a chemical active or just a solvent??? Either way I'm not worried about it just curious as I wear chemical sunscreens on my body every year.
It’s both! It’s not a cut and dry thing though, and everyone’s opinion/how their skin reacts to it is different, so I think that’s what really matters. I can both be a solvent and an active ingredient though, which is what I believe it is.
Hi!!! I only use Tizo3 tinted for summer when I got to the beach or my skin is tanned, and Photoceutical the rest of the year, very sad it’s not sweat/water resistant being the expensive one. Their Sheer Foam sunscreen contains Butyloctyl Salicylate.
Have you tried Colorescience? But all of them also contains Butyloctyl Salicylate 🙄, except the Brush-On Shield spf 50
I have tried Colorscience and it’s a bit too heavy for me. That is a shame about photoceutical not being water resistant!
