Kid got dress coded in my school cuz he showed up to school in a maid dress.
That was an interesting experience.
And, yes, it was guy. But honestly I feel that’s less surprising that guy did it compared to a girl. Especially with the kids in my school.
3 of some boys I knew came to school the next day with cat ears and a apron on to spite the teacher, because it technically doesn’t break the dress code at all.
Bro I saw an experiment where a guy wore the same clothes his friends wore, and they all got dress coded but he didn’t, so he left early
My friend wore a cosplay of Alice from Alice in Wonderland for Halloween in 7th grade & many people mistakened for a maid outfit.

I got in trouble for wearing a warm hat in highschool, and for falling asleep, because I physically could not keep my eyes open I was so exhausted. Little did I know I was suffering from a chronic illness!

I was a try hard student who strived to get perfect grades (don't do that if it takes away from social interaction or stresses you out too much, it's not worth it in any way, shape, or form, regardless of what your parents or teachers may say), and when I dozed off in class for the first and only time in Junior or Senior year, that marked the manifestation of my chronic fatigue... It scared the hell out of me at the time, because I tried to never ever fall asleep in class.
In middle school (2016-18) there was this one faculty member who would always pull me to the side and yell at me for wearing a hoodie

something that's really confusing with my school is that the reason they don't allow hats is because they can't tell who's on the cameras if something happens, but then they didn't allow people to wear beanies even though they don't hide their face. they DID, however, allow one of my friends to walk around all day wearing a literal shrimp hat without telling him to take it off. 💀

Schools also allow face masks, which cover your face, or at least my school allows them. Some people look almost unrecongizeable when they take off their mask

Since when do you get in trouble for having a mental breakdown? That shows absolute incompetence on the faculty's part.
Welcome to school in America. I was diagnosed with autism at a young age, but since I was high functioning, none of my teachers believed it, even with documentation. Even now that they believe it, they still don’t respect it.

Thankfully I was in schools that were very understanding when it came to my diagnosis.

when I was in school I saw a boy threw a chair at the principal in a mental breakdown during exams season. But also where I live it isn't too uncommon for kids to kill themselves from school stress so
as someone who never got in trouble in school I take this as a win 🗿

Here's every dumb reason I got in trouble at school:
1st grade: did a cartwheel in class
2nd - 5th grade: not much
6th grade: I accidentally ran into a kid and apologized but a teacher then said that I had "hands on" despite me NOT HITTING ANYONE, what really sucked was that SHE SAID THAT IF WE'RE IN TROUBLE FOR A STUPID REASON THEN WE SHOULD SPEAK UP ABOUT IT
7th grade: At this point I felt like I had enough and just wanted to end it all, then one time in class, my teacher said that it's my fault, yeah it's my fault I felt that way, not the dumb ass rules
9th grade: Saw a pair of goggles on the floor and decided to wear them then this kid said he'll kill me if I don't put them down then proceeded to try and fight me, I was defending myself but for some reason I almost got suspended

I truly feel for those who get in trouble for being sick or having to go to the bathroom. I mean, how are you supposed to control that?
I remember in 3rd grade I was feeling sick and told the teacher. She didn’t believe me at first, until I tried to argue and accidentally puked on her. My friend never lets me forget it, and it’s been 11 years.

My school does toilet passes, where the people who have problems get a pass to go. Next school year i’m gonna get one because i have a few problems holding it in.
Speaking from experience: ALWAYS fight back if you're being bullied, even if it would get you into more trouble than the bullies. If you take it lying down, everyone will take it as a sign that you're an easy target, and some might even decide to join in on the "fun". Don't hope that eventually someone will step in, because most likely no one will. Fight back, even if you know you'll lose, and hold your head high. If no teacher, staff, parents or peers would be on your side, then at least you should be on your own.

Talking in class
Doodling
Telling on a kid (for a good reason)
Chewing gum
Inappropriate jokes
Passing notes
Talking back
Correcting the teach
Running in the halls
I think only the inappropriate jokes are kinda deserved based on the level of it and the context

it sucks that people get in trouble for fighting back against bullies, sometimes schools are messed up. Also, my favorite subject is math and my least favorite is either history (very boring) or writing (I want to use my skills on something I’m more interested in instead of writing essays on boring books)
Here’s a little story for you, one time I got in trouble this, was like last year, I got in trouble for having a anxiety attack, and my third grade I got in trouble for having a blood soaked sock because some kid pushed me into the gravel and I now have a fake knee cap.
I always sleep in class and in a way that nobody notices that anybody can't tell if I am sleeping or not. It's a problem when a question is asked. Not because I don't know the answer but because I don't know the question.

I have never gotten in trouble for any of those. Even if I had done them, I'm seen as "the good kid" by all my current teachers, so I haven't gotten in trouble. It also helps that late work, showing up late to first period, leaving sixth period early, wearing headphones in class, strait up crying in class over little things, etc are all in my IEP and I can't get in trouble for them. 😂

I remember that when I was younger, I didn't often raise my hand but when I did I was ignored for the entire period and it happened pretty much everytime I raised my hand and I'd watch the teacher go to all the other kids who had raised their hands after me and as a little kid then, I thought the teachers hated me.

I hate it when you're actually sick, just not enough to show phsyically noticeable symptoms such as a fever, but the teachers and nurse don't care, leaving you not even feeling good enough to properly do the schoolwork, because the school is so bad they can't go a day without a fourth of the student body faking sick, and instead of taking notice of how bad the school has to be run, and how miserable the student body must be, in order for that many kids to try and fake sick in the first place, they shift the blame to the "irresponsible" students. X_X
Not to mention, what I probably hate most, how you're not really learning anything it looks like they want you to in there, such as core subjects, but rather just learning how cheat, pretend, and conform so you can be the average worker joe in society, instead of a free thinking citizen with open and great ideas about how to make the world a better place for everyone in it.
I don't just hate school, it is my least favorite part of american society (even just barely managing to beat out american healthcare.)
One time I missed winning a schoolwide raffle and missed the reward because I had a fever that day, and the nurse sent me back to class (Like she always did when i was sick that year. She did nothing, she didn't even give me a COUGH DROP)

One time the teacher in year 7 saw me drawing everywhere and said: "I will tell your parents about it and if it does not stop, I will send you to a special place where you can"t draw forever!!" But it was never my fault, because I can"t resist it and make it stop! And now i'm doing fine, but I still doodle everywhere and i'm actually one of the smartest people in class
I got dress coded for wearing shorts in the winter on a dress down day And what makes it worse is they make us wear skirts all winter and go outside because of the uniform.

6:20 I always hated that in school… until the revolution came… the students at my school rose up against that rule and the school surrendered and now we are allowed to wear hats and hoods in our school. In fact, the revolution caused the entire dress code to be liberalized, especially for girls. The dress code is almost non-existent in my school now.
Same for me, except the dress code never changed, nobody really acted on the dress code, and people wore tube tops without getting dress coded 💀

I Have Autism And Anger issues and anxiety and ADHD so in school I don’t do my homework or school work and my parents say i don’t need to do it and i cuss a lot in school as well.
As someone who has to observe my classmates talk back to the teacher, I feel really bad for the teacher since (the ones I had) were really nice, empathetic, and actually made some learning topics intriguing to me.

the entire class was going on a rampage of why our teacher wasn't letting him go to the bathroom

I keep falling asleep in school because i have narcolepsy, i also have slight issues with using the restroom because when i was in fourth grade i kept getting yelled at when i needed to use the restroom and then got yelled at because i accidentally pissed on the floor.
