Very nice list my friends! I've honestly always felt that cheap or blue-collar beer is far more enjoyable than your more expensive craft or imported beers. Then again I'm the type of guy who prefers meat loaf and mashed potatoes with gravy over fillet mignon. Cheers my friends!
I know you commented a year ago but c'mon man, everyone knows anything is better than bud light. Tecate light, for example if you want light beer, is a lot cheaper usually and also just tastes like carbonated water. Bud light tastes like you put your foot in your mouth, I'm not sure how some light beers taste worse than the regular beer but they managed to pull it off.
I just started getting Natty Light on the regular now. I use to get the ice a few years back, but I hate the new label. Haha. Genesee Cream Ale was my go to, but the brewery is trying to "rebrand" the beer, so they're apparently switching to 24 packs for the same price. I'm still waiting on an update from my local distributor. Because of this switch, I'm switching to Hamm's, which I've had in the past. Also, FISH ON CAN! The copper lager was awesome, too. Cheers, good list!
TheShyGamer Do u remember when liquor stores werent open at all on Sundays in Delaware. If u didnt get on Saturday it was a trip to Maryland or maybe Pennsylvania.Might not b old enough to remember though.
Ha! Y’all are so right about Busch Copper lager…… WTF were they thinking ditching that one?!?!…… I have a hard time believing it didn’t or wouldn’t have eventually started selling like mad…. was an excellent cheap higher abv beer.
Yeah Yuengling is solid 🍺. It's my go-to everyday beer. I need to try the black and tan going to pick some up tomorrow. Yeah It's pretty cheap but not as cheap as some. I think the price is good though for what you're getting. I picked up an 18 pack of bottles for about $18. I also recently picked up a 24 pack for about $22. I'm in MD. The cheapest I found is $19 for the 24 pack cans aka "the suitcase" Different stores run different prices All the Time of course.
Ha! Ha! The nearest Total Wine is 100 miles away. Most grocery stores sell beer and liquor though. I drank Hamm's years ago when it was brewed in its own Brewery in St. Paul, MN. We would take it on camping trips. Thought it was pretty good. Have not had the Miller brewing version. I will have to try it. PBR was our beer in high school, 18 drinking age at that time, and it was also brewed in its own brewery in Milwaukee. Drank lots of Miller over the years too it was also had its own brewery in Milwaukee. I'm Wisconsin born and raised we had a lot of great breweries in Milwaukee + Harley-Davidson. Currently my go to beer is Leinenkugel's Original. It's been brewed in the same brewery, 90 miles away from me, for over 150 years. They have a great tour. Miller/Coors bought them but have left the Leinenkugel family alone to brew their beers. They have been pretty successful. "If it ain't broke don't fix it."
I used to love hamms, but the last few times I bought it there was a bleach-ey smell and taste. I thought maybe it was from the store and tried washing the cans (everyone parties loves the guy washing his beer like a raccoon) but that didn't help. What's weird is that it's brewed by miller in wisconsin on the same equipment that handles MGD, high life, pabst, and OE. No reason the sanitizer should be different.
Personally I usually buy whatever is cheapest between PBR, High life, and Hamm’s. If they’re all the same price I usually go for PBR just out of nostalgia. Been stealing those from parents with my buddies since middle school
This is a arguably tough, specific Top 5 to compose, especially when you are using the price of a 30-pack as a parameter when there is no "national MSRP" for a beer. I respect the Total Wine control but a Total Wine near you in Kentucky is most likely 15-25% cheaper than a tri-state area Total Wine. Also - aren't there many cheap drinkable beers that don't come in 30 packs? To TheShyGamer's point - they don't sell beer at gas stations in most states.
The only beer I'm aware that comes in smaller packs is Milwaukees best. And while all the gas stations in Ky sell beer it's generally cheaper to go to a liquor store to get it like total wine. The price difference between most of the beers for total wine is at most 2 bucks between states. The point of the top 5 party beers is to let people know what our top 5 party beers are. Any way it goes, when you do any sort of beer review it's going to be subjective.
KY is a hard state to describe, about 25% of it is very Midwest, Louisville, Lexington, covington and the rest of it is very southern... Like yeeeehaaaaaw southern.
Genny cream ale is gonna give you the worst shits the next day. And you’ll be gassing out who ever you’re drinking with that night. Genny screamers are an extremely real thing.

Highlife is a great cheap beer. Love it
I’ve been on a cheap beer kick lately and funny thing is I’m drinking a hamms as I watch this. Cheers 🍻
All I been drinking is hamms for months because of you guys haha
I used to be able to get Genesee beer locally, but not anymore. PBR is now my go to.

Here in Delaware they only sale beer in a liquor store. It sucks most stores close by 11 pm and on Sunday @ 4.

Nice to see Genny on the list in Ky. I am from Pa. And was raised on Genny Beer and Cream Ale!
in the uk we can get stella for those prices
In the US it tastes like skunk piss. Does it taste that way in the uk also?
Its only good in draft or if you get a very fresh bottle.
@@williamthrower7912 can be like that bottled with those cunting green bottles. canned though it's pretty fuckin decent for a cheap beer
Hamm's is an awesome beer. One of the easiest drinking adjuncts I've ever had.
Narragansett is just as good.
But nothing beats 1960s Schlitz
I like how conserved you guys are on your opinions.
I have Hamms in the fridge good summer beer. Schlitz also is my go too for a simple beer.
Hamms is 3.60 somthing a six pack around here, awsome taste and cheap price
Pabst, Old Milwaukee, and Milwaukees Best could have easily made the list. But prices have been going up. Thoughts?
It probably would have been in the top 10.
My friend owns a large a liquor store and people walk in and ask *"Do you have any beer on sale"?* My buddy says *"It's all on sale".*
I hate going to Total Wine because there is so much to choose from (not actually a bad thing).
Hamm's Special Light is great ! Pretty much all my crew drinks. Its 13 and change plus tax for a 30 pack here in Pennsylvania. Great video!

1.Gennesse 2.Hamm's ( I buy both) 3.Miller 4. Busch 5. Anything but Natty beer Yuck!!!! Great video guys.
Busch was my high school beer. I told my friends it was the rich mans natty and the entire senior class bought in to it.
Omg how Coors banquet not make the list guys?
Doesn't meet our guidelines
Hamms and Hamms Special Light are between $11-$13/30 pack in Central Wisconsin
Same in minnesota,
don’t know if you can get yuengling in 30 - we don’t have it here - but 24 Yuenglings can’t be beat
We can get yuengling and we love the stuff but it only comes in 24 packs for 19.99 so it doesn't meet or requirements.

Circle k sells natty 30 packs light or ice for $15 and you get a free party bag of any lays chip product
I live in the northern Ohio area and I never see hamms anywhere. Definitely want to try it though
You can pick it up in southern Ohio, jungle Jim's has it

We camp with hamms all the time. We used total wine because there are more of those than any other liquor store in the U.S
Don't have hamms here but like genessee light and cream ale but rolling rock is my go to beer
Check out Big Muddy Brewery from Murphysboro IL.
Good list.
Love the video! I recommend this video
I know this is an Old Review but I would have added 2 beers that are now no longer made and that is Coors Extra Gold Lager and Red Dog
We reviewed the red dog a few years ago.
How is it that Kentucky alcohol is more expensive than Chicago? Hell Illinois alcohol is cheaper than Indiana for some reason
Beer seeems to be a bit higher here but most booze is cheaper
Pretty sure dude on the left is “The Comic Book Guy” (from The Simpsons) 🤣🤣🤣

Just found your channel. What part of KY do you live? I live here as well
Louisville and bullit county
There’s no genesee cream ale here in California (at least we’re I’m from)
They are a new York brewery so I'm not sure how far they distribute.
Will you guys be able to do a meet and greet with subscribers ? Ill fly out to kentucky in the near future, and obviously will test for covid before

Ranked, 1 being the best.
Pike County beer has gone up. 30$ for 30 pack of bud
What's totally wine? You should've picked Bevmo.
Total wine is the largest liquor store chain in the us. Bevmo are tiny and overpriced compared to them.
@@kybrewreview my favorite cheap beer is Tecate
$5.99 + tax so really 6 and some change for 6 pack of 16 oz here in Washington state and PBR, Rainier , and highlife are all the same price
Also no Hamms here in cali
Busch is so good!! And super cheap out here 9.99 for a 18 pack at Rite Aid
This needs updated for 2022
While most these beers went up in price, they are all still being produced and we still agree with all of them.
Miller High Life is tasty but low in abv tbh
Ya I'm f=on house and tries hamms out. It was surprisingly good. Go hamms 👍
Can't beat it for the price.

1. Miller High Life
2. Hamm's
3. Keystone Light/Ice
4. Busch
5. Natty
Just turned 21 and I’m stingy with my money so I buy malt liquor 40’s and they’re $2 each or $5 for two of them
Gotta get that mickeys or King Cobra.

Miller High Life all day long. Don't forget to check out booger sugar ale.
Genny all the way!
Love the list but me personally I would leave out miller high life
Hamms is agreeing the best next to Busch
Natty ice is 25$ and big store
I don't think I've seen it here for over 19.99 a 30
Genesee is a damn good beer for the price!
You guys out west, must be nice. We don't have alot here. All we know is fighting and drinking
