@@themendotaranch old money
Why did I think he was going to have a 25 year old trophy wife.. this man keeps getting better and better truly wholesome. This whole horse arena home is my DREAM! Deer heads, guns, plenty of toys! God bless you all, from California! -Future Texans hopefully!
Awesome. Welcome to Texas
Cuz he's a real man. He doesn't need a trophy wife to feel like a man.
You can come to Texas but you have to leave the California politics behind.
@@smartass6071 hell yeah!!! That’s the attitude I love!
I escaped Commie California in 2021 and am a Patriotic God Loving and Fearing TEXAN now! Brought all my horses with me! The sooner you exit California the happier, healthier and FREE you will be.
Good life rules to live by. "I'm not scared, cause I'm prepared".
Scared of what? Dying, that's gonna get ya know matter where or how ya live!!? Saw a 40 yr old never drank, smoked had healthy diet, stepped on a bee an feel down 9 steps broke his neck died instantly!!! God has your number and you can't buy a minute more time my friend!!!
@@fredtowns78 Are you jealous of this guy? Sounds like a put down to me..
@@deekb4009 No, I'm not jealous of anyone!!! He seems to young to have acquired all this being so young.?, Hard work only gets you so far!!! If hard work was the key I'd be a billionaire, 48 years installing carpet an tile in my own business had several employees and I barely live at 72!! Working 6/7 days a week 10/15 hrs a day got me 3 failed marriages and alot of alimony an child support all because I worked all the time yet all I heard was we ain't got enough money!!! Not jealous but a bit bitter an tired an crippled up from the work!!! Have a nice day?!!! God Bless!!!
The relationship with your grandson melted my heart! That little guy following grandpa around was so sweet! Such an awesome house! 😊
anniejr92 Thanks. I’m a luck grandpa
Love it all. Alongside every great man is a great women. Please tell your beautiful wife thank you for sharing.
I think the calcium stains on the concrete just make it look more like rock, more natural , matches the wood and stuff
Pretty sweet house man. Thanks for opening it up and showing us.
You bet
Awesome to see and hear a little of your path and experiences.
I love people who own their life and find a way to reach their dreams.
Juston Preble Thanks.
You are so patient with your grandson. That boy adores you.
He’s a lot of fun!
What a great property. I admire your attitude about preparedness and appreciate you showing your home. Some great ideas that I will consider when I build my barndominium.
Thanks!
Thanks so much!

NWA CAD Services Thank you
Very nice home, that's so cool that you were able to buy back your Great Grand Fathers place
Its adorable your love for your grandkid just letting him co tour with him and just showing nothing but love for the kid, this whole video warmed my heart.
Teodor Puha Thanks.
The bedroom trying to feel like an old barn loft I feel like gives away clues to y'all's early relationship lol that's cute but so many country folks can absolutely relate I love wholesome simple folks that just worked hard kept it real and achieved their dreams thank you for just being some good simple folks
13:01 "I got a mule pregnant" 😂😂😂😂
Tell ya what... We don't have many MEN out here these days. I'm grateful you're doing that you're doing. Great home, land and family. Good job, Sir. Thank you for sharing
J.A.R. Family Thanks. On the concrete I had a friend think about put a concrete plant in. I told what I was doing and that was just enough to get him going. I ready don’t know how many yards of concrete but it was a shit load
@@themendotaranch that sounds like just the right amount. “Shit load” lol.
What a beautiful home you have, loving your bar and views from your master bedroom ,love watching your videos so interesting.
Thanks for watching!
Maybe you could chat with your local construction companies about having a rubber coating sprayed on to your roof to help with the rain noise. Beautiful home !!!
There's a special place that lays west of Interstate 35 and east of the Rocky Mountains that goes all the way from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico and it's a very special place to live. For some reason not many people want to live here but I do. The Mendota Ranch is a great example of the good people who live here and even though I don't know them I call them my friends. I was born on a farm 65 miles east of their ranch and I look with great fondness at a lifetime of memories. Living here is a great life with many good people.
That table is fantastic
Thank you! We love it!
How funny!! My husband told me, not very long ago, that he wanted to build a barndominium as our retirement home, dream home, whatever you want to call it, but I was not very enthusiastic at the time!! But seeing yours has changed my mind completely!! I cannot imagine anything else now! He wants a large shop, he is a gear head, not a rancher, but he needs a very large space for tools, cars, and he needs a lift, so considering all you have done in yours, I can show his this video, and he'll say, "EXACTLY"!!! Thanks, AGAIN, for the education!! He's going to be pretty excited about this, and I have NO RESERVATIONS, which I DID HAVE, about a barndominium!!
We love ours. I would do it again
That diningroom table is fabulous! Very warm and inviting decor throughout.
every mans dream come true. thank you for showing it. 35 years ago when I bought my land here on the Oregon coast I wanted a house like yours but my wife did not want to live in a barn so I built a 4 bedroom stick built home. If I could have shown your house as an example I could have changed her mind, I am sure
dan poen Thanks. My wife love this house more than me and I love it a lot
I would love to live in a barn. Would seem like home.
We've got sections and sections of land but no "home".... One day I'll have something like this! 🙌🏼 Thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you very much!
I love it.. Thanks for sharing.. I'm a fixed wing pilot with plans to build a barndo with an attached hanger and runway.. I'm from Houston, scouting land in south east / central Texas now.. your build has inspired me to beef things up a bit.. Thanks for the content..
you will love it we sure love ours
Thanks for sharing your home with us. We also live in our barndominium here in TN that looks out to the arena.
NIce! We love ours. I bet you love yours, too.
Lord have mercy, between all you do for work, play and taking care of the land I don't know how you found time to design a home where every little thing is so well thought out. How long did it take you to design the barndominium and how long did it take to build? Please tell Bonnie we would love to get her input on absolutely anything. Besides respecting you for everything you are and do I most respect you for how gentle you are with Easton.
Thank You!
Wow. What a fabulous home. I’m a Canadian living with my Texas hubby. We don’t have basements here outside do Austin and it is a shame. No where to hide in a tornado ( does not happen often here thank goodness). But the fact you have a safe place and also a cool room for the summer is priceless. I am truly impressed.
Omg that cook stove!!😍😍
Txs for the tour. You are very brave to open your home to the public. I'm happy for you and your family. God Bless
Thank you!
Hi Bonnie! You are lovely and your home is amazing and beautiful!
Thank you so much! (this is Bonnie on the comments! Hah!)
Oh nooooo I should have waited to comment. I saw that wagon wheel and I NEED one. Hubby is an Archeologist and stone tools are his specialty. That table would be perfect to display our arrowheads and other finds.
We just made it. not hard
I put beaded board ceiling in my house. If I ever was to win the lottery the next house would have to have wood ceilings instead of sheet rock. My wife an l planed it, another man ran it through moulding machine, we stained, polyurethane it, installed it, enjoyed it. We bought # 2 grade oak, which has knots. The imperfections, the knots are the interesting parts. Got my wife a new miter saw blade for Christmas, was big hit. The time we spent together was worth more than money to me. Love the history you share, think how hard the Buffalo hunters worked to make a living. We live near river in East Tennessee lots of Indian artifacts found on farm.
That’s awesome! I love history.
What a fantastic home you designed and built. Although it is many square feet dimensionally, it is very homey and looks quite comfortable. You should be very proud of this home. Thank you for sharing it with the world.
John Cummings Yes we are and Thanks for watching
Nice house thank you for showing us
Awesome home and barn! My wife & I really like it.

Your Barndominium is absolutely AMAZING!! And the touches...like the beautiful wood dining table, the gorgeous bar with all the brands, and the wagon wheel chandelier...so many beautiful bedrooms...and that you designed a lot of it yourself just makes all the more special for y'all!! It's awesome how you made it so SAFE! I always learn something watching your channel...I just LOVE it!! Much love from Montana!!!!

So rustic but fancy as well..good country living
That table is breath taking..
Thanks
Thanks for sharing your home. Incredibly well thought out. I liked the family history and branding marks in the bar. Keep the videos coming.
Great tour thanks! One reason I like watching you and your spread is I worked on the Turkey Track through Spool and M&M Cattle and land co. In Hutchinson County in the 50’s and 60’s . Kinda makes me remember the country and folks growing up.
Love your house. For me. Would be putting down some 2 x 2 on the floor with insulation between and covering with plywood to have some give while walking around keeping my feet warm. As for the roof. Maybe in my beedroom put a drop ceiling with a thick layer if insulation and some if that popcorn ceiling board to make that room real quiet. lol. Of course with as much rain as you get. Guess it does not make that much difference. Love that house through. Plenty big fir your family to grow in.
Live you animals and all your videos. Keep sharing.
Oh. My dads dad had a brand too up in Wyoming. They still have 25 square mikes of family owned land.
God bless
Watched Again! God Bless you and Bonnie!!
Hell yeah!!! Always be prepared - if it hits the fan you got it covered!!! Thanks for showing us your home/Fort Knox!!! Looking forward to your videos!!!
Thanks for the tour. We spent a year in Texas helping our DIL with grandkids, while our oldest was overseas. It was one of the best years of our life. The people, country and food were great.
No need to be scared if you are prepared. That safe room below ground is perfect. Thank you for the tour.
Can't fathom the amount of guns and ammo this guy has. And I bet you he has a secret bunker somewhere
Behind the safe door maybe.
@@danshields3654 No, not the gun safe... The bunker he didn't show
I knew there was gonna be a big gun vault somewhere in the house haha. Awesome home sir, thanks for showing it to us.

What a beautiful place you have build for your family to enjoy. Vey well thought out floor plan by you. I farm in Indiana corn and soybeans and everyone says , boy Indiana sure is flat. Well nothing like where you live in the Texas panhandle. I have never been their before and just didn’t realize how flat it is . I built my own house is 1994 when I was a young man and look back with joyful memories of doing it. Also glad you do take take being prepared for anything. Like my family and I, and also great to see you believe in the 2nd Amendment .
