People from Turkey shocked at football hooliganism? Really?
There’s a reason so many Turks live in Germany. If Turkey were all sunshine and rainbows such wouldn’t be the case…
They were surprised there where no Turks involved
Fenerbace v Galatasary anyone?
Nothing bad ever happens at Turkish football matches. 😂😂
and who can forget:
So long as they (the Proles) continued to work and breed, their other activities were without importance. Left to themselves, like cattle turned loose upon the plains of Argentina, they had reverted to a style of life that appeared to be natural to them, a sort of ancestral pattern...Heavy physical work, the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbors, films, football, beer and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult.
George Orwell, 1984
Football and Hooligans go togeather and have done for decades.
The only answer is to hold the matches behind closed doors.
The days when a father took his sons to watch a football match knowing it would be
safe are long gone.
Thankfully mine never did, even in the late 60's it was expensive and there was no way i was going
without pocket money just to go there, far more important things to spend money on.
How naive. Most fans don't have tickets. That's why they were in town drinking. Trouble these days at English football matches is minimal.
I agree with you however I believe Turkey had or has a very bad problem with football violence
Monday mornings at my secondary school in the early '70s. The talk wasn't about Saturday's 4th division game but all about what a great scrap they all had,and that's without being pi**ed! Sad.
"Breaking news"

Tim's logic.
@@MandyAustin-nl4cn
Yes.
Actually it happened today after a match between Serbia and the netherlands as the credit suggested
@@ProfessorTimWilson
You said at the start of the video that it happened on the 17th.
Bet this wont be on the bbc .
Sky are responsible, everything's football, the game is ridden with corruption!!
The hooliganism at these Euros has been very mild so far.
Football for me epitomises so much that is wrong in the world. Obscene amounts of money going to a few. Corruption, rampant Nationalism, thuggery, populism, racism. It’s all there, and it appears to go on unfettered.
Maybe put simply, it’s because, in the main, certainly at the top of this game it’s men who reign.
Years ago there was a match in Plzen where Victoria Plzen was playing a German team, I believe. There were threats of hooliganism, so the Plzen police had everyone working. They formed a barricade from the train station to the stadium and lined the streets, Many on horseback as well as police dog units. I remember a hooligan punching a horse and police letting the K-9s loose on the attacker. Riots were prevented. I'm surprised Germany didn't prepare better. They generally don't mess around with such things.
Tim, this is a pointless post. Get a grip
Pathetic, how the hell is it a pointless post? You need to get a grip!🤡
@@HarryFlowerrs
So what was the point of the video?
Are you really sure this is this year ?????
this was sent to me last night within 30 minutes of the event
Spot On Prof👍
here was a conspiracy theory, years ago, that the Americans did not want English football fans causing havoc on their streets, and that referees were encouraged to be biased in England matches, such that England failed to qualify for the 1994 World Cup.
It's just the old bill in the middle..... Nothing to see here at all
The cynic in me says that Tim is not getting any interaction tonight because most people are watching the football, so he made a video about hooligans to stir it up and get some clicks.
Well done.
Slow clap.
Farage's British values and culture on display for the whole world to see...
English culture farage does not represent scotland
@@saorsa5 If there is any justice he wont be representing any of us either.
The square is Marienplatz, dead centre of Munich, right outside the main police HQ! Munich beer is stronger than other beer, I should know since i've drunk so much of it.
Headwrecker is some bad s--t. That said, this kind of thing is pathetic.
We don’t have riots here in Prague and Czechs drink twice as much beer as anyone.
The Far Right on the march!
@stevieb6368
Meanwhile the extreme left attack twelve year old Jewish girls.
They were so afraid they were laughing, because that's what people do when they are afraid they laugh, right? And they are not Turks they are Albanians. And incident started when police
without any reason arrested Serbian fan, alleging suspicion that he had a pyrotechnics on him even though there was nothing to suggest such a thing. Why would police single out
someone for that when they were no flares used at that time? It's like someone called police and reported the man, and maybe filmed that whole affair laughing.
Sorry to be smug!
(From a member of The Tatain Army)
pissed populists.
It's sad to see such deplorable behaviour, what makes it worse is It's over a stupid football match, tribalism is a real problem, has man left the jungle mentally no..
It’s always been like that for a long time. They’re taking football like warfare
They’re just a bunch a violent grow kid
@@christophermichaelclarence6003Always is a long time?
@@woodentie8815 Yep, mate. I meant for a while not long time
How incredibly dull.
Soccer is a pointless playground frippery.
Who cares?
And a historical factor, Battle of Kosovo Polje 1389, Commander Slava Serbia defeated the Ottoman army during the Battle General Commander Murat lost his life.God, Homeland, Family,Slava
A slight side note here, but I noted how you’re expanding the technical side of your presentation, with the inserts running alongside your commentary. Is that all you? Or do you have the help of an editor there? I found it very well presented and wonder if you might experiment a little more with this parallel coverage style?
What's the point of this video? We have no idea what's going on. Serbian fans had announced that they were targeting England fans
I thought the same thing.
There is no reason for Tim to post this out all.
It's not all coming from the English fans either.
These videos just encourage pile ons and English hating.
Football hooliganism never went away .
Tim, you said this happened yesterday, but at the start of the video, you said it was the 17th.
Your words, again.
no, I said there was an event on 17th involving serbia and england and now yesterday another event involving serbia and the netherlands. I am so sorry if I have confused you. It was also in the text accompanying the video
@@ProfessorTimWilson The text is wrong because you named the wrong teams.
Your video is all over the place.
How come we don,t hear about this on the BBC or ITV ?
Propaganda by the media. They only want you to be informed of relevant topics that suit their overload master’s narrative.
The same reason we wouldn't hear about a disturbance between Ajax and RSB fans in the Champion's League, unless the game happend in the UK.
Not important enough to be bothered with it whilst there are scandals in the election to
keep us ammused with.
Same with European news
Germany is a faraway place. 😀 We have left the EU
I went to Belgrade to watch the Serbia vs Wales match a few years ago. All us Welsh fans were in our own enclosure supporting our team and then all of a sudden the Serbian clowns in the next enclosure started throwing fireworks into our end and one of our supporters got hit by a f'ing javelin (how the hell did they manage to smuggle that in?) Anyway, after that we had to wait an hour and a half in the stadium after the final whistle and when we finally got out, the streets were lined with hundreds of riot police for at least a mile from the stadium. I know that's not all their fans, but their idiot hooligans are the reason they keep getting fined and stadium bans from UEFA. Absolute helmets, but we got a really good draw out of the game and the Serbs in general were really nice people. By the way, some of the comments on here really don't get football at all. It's way more than what happens on the pitch.
What is going on seriously! No way would I think of going aboard to watch a football match. it's crazy, just imagine if you had children there as well! Madness!!
What are these people bad over.
*mad
I could hear them all shouting from the river to the sea I will not take a knee
Usual racist suspects
@@KEIRFerretUpGammonTrowzaaah
Sorry who was being racist
A lot of this is coming from the Serbs.
But Tim just wants to point the finger at English fans. (Again)
So this has never happened in the UK? Never violence and fighting? Never people injured?
@@trrexxx Where did I say it didn't?
And, nice deflection, btw.
This is true. Serbs are basically Ruzzians...
@@trrexxx
I have seen scenes far worse than this at MIB so called protests
Yep, German police said it was the Serbs and Albanians fighting on the 16th, not the English. But sky had already blamed it on the English. They put out another vid later saying the above.
Polices fault
The German police said that the brawl on the 16th wasn't English fans. The Serbian fans were attacked by Albanian fans and some of the English got caught up in it. Sky news blamed it on the English initially but put out the above news later on.
It was twitter lie, the ones that got attacked clearly say on video that it was English fans
Happens all the time across Europe, illegal immigrant's kicking off, do you see any looting or threatening of jews like you do from our imports when they claim to be protesting, nit condoning this but it was child's play compared to what we regularly see these days on the streets of Europe thanks to our enrichment and diversity
YOUR enrichment and diversity being Couzens and Letby.
@@KEIRFerretUpGammonTrowzaaah
Mate they will come for you and probably first, they prey on the weak and the weak minded
Even when, as far as I know, this has nowt to do with ‘illegal immigrants’, Dropdead dickhead has to weigh in with his Farage inspired, anti-immigrant, rant?🙄
I’ve never seen a riot or massive street fight in Europe. Have you ever been to Europe?
🤔cough you say British Professor Tim may i point out Scotland fans were also in Germany and as far as we can see the Germans would be more than happy to invite them back😞may i ask when it’s English hooligans suddenly it’s a British problem
, it’s not it’s an English problem, fortunately the Sots fans don’t put up with hooligans, and are only their to party, very disapointed in you
Scottish TV news reported tonight that Max Kirchi from Berlin has started a petition aimed at the German FA to hold an annual friendly match between Germany and Scotland. So far it has attracted more than 31,000 mainly German signatures.
The same with Welsh, Northern Irish and Irish also. The only outliers are the English fans.
