I know exactly how you feel about being overwhelmed with photographs! Before our last house move we had hundreds to sort through! We had to be ruthless and ended up with just keeping the most precious! Now they are all sorted and labeled so anyone in the future knows who all the people are! It took forever, but so worth it! Loved my trip to Dover Castle. Thank you for taking me along. When I was growing up, our dishes had paintings of English Castles, and Dover Castle was one of them. A few years ago, I was looking for a particular photo to scan and send to a friend. I couldn't find it anywhere. I got so frustrated! I decided that this will never happen again. Over a period of months, I scanned every photo I could find, and uploaded them into Google Photo albums. The LAST photo I found was the one that started the whole project. It took me along time to scan. I didn't sort until they were in Google Photo, then I had specific albums I saved each photo to. I then enabled family access to all of my photos. I am so glad I did that. I still have the photos, but if anything happens they were safely stored online.

Another wonderful post and we get to reap the benefits of your ‘nerdy’ camera collection. Have fun experimenting! My husband has spent many a minute scanning photos from all sides of the family into the computer. It is so fun sharing the files as now everyone can have access. Never have they been viewed and enjoyed so much. Now to decide how to store the originals or what to do with them.

The tour of the castle was amazing! What a clear, beautiful day! I love looking at the sea too! I have 6 large, but not deep, plastic boxes in my living room at the moment that I need to sort through. My daughter had them for awhile. She was going to scan them all, but she just doesn't have the time. I'd like to scan them or condense them in some way. I'm not sure. The are very overwhelming just sitting there! Your Dover Castle footage brought back lovely memories of a visit we made there about 15 years ago. Only difference was that you had to keep talking so folks would know you were coming toward them. I love the new entry unit! We have something similar and it is great for everyone to have their own cubby and somewhere to store stuff that looks tidy. Can Lillia handle non-flowering plants? I am just thinking of something like a pothos vine or similar? Phoebe is super brave! There is a man-made cave near us that was made to store sensitive documents during WWII and despite knowing the layout of it AND having a headlamp - I still can't go in alone!

We have a very popular white cliff in Germany as well, it’s called Kreidefelsen (chalked rocks) and is located in Rügen, an island in the former splitted part of Germany. Just so if you want to compare some nerdy facts. There are many paintings showing it in museums, just like “your cliff” is hanging all over the world. As a vegetarian familiy I use roast chicken spice mixture when making fries, it smell delicious and is a fun way to trickle out the taste buds. Thanks for the Vlog, it was great to watch as always!
