Thanks. I was thinking it was best to be a little away from the boat as the kite would be in the wind shadow of the boat. Also, I was well set up for the return to the boat to be able to hook up the kite and board so I could climb up into the boat and the retrieve them.

This is wild. Haha I primarily have to drift launch. I use a 9m UFO which worked pretty good. Never tried a foil kite but you make me want too.
