Nothing left of the WW2 wooden barracks along the old main entrance from Fry Blvd. Stationed there October 1970 to February 1971. Good duty, lots of 4x4 boon docking.

Hey I’m going to basic on march 3rd as a 35f, and I’ll be at huachuca for ait. Does 35f translate well in finding a job in civilian life?

I spent about a year and a half at this base from 1956 until starting college in 1958. It was active for training Signal Corps personnel but quite small in terms of personnel. Everything you’ve shown looks familiar. Thanks for tour.

My dad retired from Fort Huachuca : U.S. Strategic Command: STRATCOM , that patched used to be painted on the Huachuca mountain on post. No matter where you were on post you could see that patch.

I was stationed there with HHC USAEPG Avn Br 74-76 when we had OV-1 Mohawks. A lot of changes but still some of the things I remember. I was an E-5 and had govt. leased housing downtown as housing was tight on post. There is a monument to the flight crews and the Mohawk at the airfield. Drones replaced the Mohawk. A large drone pilot training center there now. In the basement of Greeley Hall is a backup comm. center for the Pentagon. Well I guess it is still there. Take care.
