When Wayne said "Thank you for being nice to me", I started to cry.
Being nice is a simple act that too few people practice. It costs nothing, but it could mean everything to a person who is struggling.

those two both know me, I just didn't recognize them at first
I was house-less when I was young I got into drugs but I have been clean and for over 30 years. I slept outside in four feet of snow and almost got frost bite. I decided it was time to change my life. I took courses the government offered to help people on welfare. I ended up getting a job with a small school dist. about 100 miles east of Vancouver Canada. Thank God there were no Opioids at that time. I got a 32 year pension out of it and live in a small town about 6,000 people and Blues, is bad over here too. I try and help many of the homeless although I am not rich and survive I remember being there. No one has ever become poor helping the poor. Your a good man Mike.

True giving is without expecting in return! God's servant needs nobody to teach of tell them this. They were born with this mission deep within their soul. Their reward will be in heaven but they do these things not because of the future rewards but the rewards given by those who are helped...a smile, a thank you, a hug or an I love you 💕 Your kindness to others has helped me get through an extremely painful 3 months! I wish I could cry but that would only bring more pain. Without God I would have never made it through... Praise him! Heaven Bless Michael now and help him continue his service in God's Kingdom! Michael, I can’t imagine how many people feel hope from your kindness. You give without judgement & each person you give to must feel this... your “mission” is spreading as more people are giving to the homeless. I now keep $100 in bills in my wallet to give each month ... it’s not about the money but rather the hope it gives those in need that there are people who care about them .... in spite of it all

I really admire what you are doing, it is pretty common thing in Czechia, not in a way you do it, but if homeless people want, they can go to red cross "checkpoint" and ask for many stuff or sign a program which provides them hygiene and even sleeping, if they want to leave stream they can continue the proccess and will be given apartment and work. Hopefully it will be more avaible in US some day too!
One thing that bothers me in last year is that more and more young people took example from L.A. and want to live homeless live and just having fun on drugs, very sad... lately I was approached by two young ladies, between 18-20 who wanted only money, it was obvious that they are not experienced in begging, also they had new clothes, once on more expensive side, really sad they want to start their life like that.
One note to add: in Czechia, homelessnes is not such common thing, most of people on street doesnt want to come back to normal life for any reasons, as mention before, those who want to, they absolutely can do it through various organisations.Unemployment is only 2,2%.

When he said "why are you being so nice to me?" That broke my heart iv been homeless before and it sucks not all homeless are drug addicts and alcoholics some of us are just down on our luck

Michael,I love watching your videos because you restore in me my faith in humanity since nowadays there are more mean and bad people than good-doers like yourself! Please be safe when you go at night to feed the homeless because some of them used drugs and can become a danger to you....
