Moceanu was in the gym with another coach...Bela had stopped training elites. Strug was in Arizona at the time. It wasn't until Zmeskal wanted to come back that Bela put his name back out there (with kim and dominique) strug would return later
a33QyUy7 she was with Nuno originally but her parents wanted her to be in Texas where they lived, she went to Bela. Bela retired so her parents let her go to Nuno again, she briefly went back to Texas as her parents didn’t like being away from her but she wasn’t happy, so her and her mom went to Nuno. The kid was pulled back and forth, fast tracked by Nuno to become a senior when everyone else from her group stayed junior for another year.
@@2345678902345671 He retired after 92 for a couple of years. He wasnt training Kerri or Dominique. Kerri and Jennie spent a few (horrible) years with Steve Nunno. Many of the others that were training at Karoyli's were dispersed or retired. Bela said Mocheanu brought him out of retirement.

Bela's retirement sent many should have been champions to Steve Nuno. It didnt work out well for them.
