Honest? I agree - good person? Yes and no! Yes, she saves Londo's life, but she doesn't truly do it out of kindness, hell she doesn't want him to know! Out of the three she is the best choice, no doubt, but that doesn't mean that I would want any of them by my side :(
@@dreamingflurry2729 I think that the fact she doesn’t want Londo to know she saved his life (thus getting an advantage over the other two wives out of guilt and or gratitude) is an indication of her being a good person at heart. Despite that she is not a ”nice” person. 😃
Well, there was an emperor in one of the chinese dynasties who decide to reward his minister with a new concubine. The minister refused, citing that his wife wouldn't allow. So the emperor asked the minister's wife directly. The wife refuse, the emperor told her that he can arrange for her execution and her husband would be free to marriage. The wife simply ask the emperor to get on with it. At which point the emperor back off. lol
@@JK-Visions I look forward to that. The irony is, after Londo explains to Timov why he chose her, she discovers a newfound respect for Londo**, an appreciation of the wisdom of his choice, and that she was _honestly_ that choice, as evidenced by her smile afterwards. For once, they exchanged something _real._ For those who don't already know: Respect = admiration + fear. Love = admiration + sympathy. This is why a woman cannot love you if she doesn't respect you - that common component, admiration, is critical to both. I believe it was even written in later book(s) that Londo and Timov shared a romance sometime after this episode, though the timing is unclear as he also distanced her from him after the Drakh took control of him, in an effort to protect her. I haven't read the book(s) myself, so am dependent on other people's summaries of the contents. **Keep in mind anything is an upgrade from complete disrespect...
Timov was the perfect choice, at the end of the day, she has never lied to Londo, the other two put on plastic smiles and suck up to him, and while that might seem appealing to a man of his ego, he knows their affection is not genuine and only to serve their own needs. With Timov she doesn't sugar coat anything, she is upfront about her opinion of him and it's that honesty he values more than the other two's affection. He actually respects her for her that, and he says at the end that with her he always knows where he stands.
He only kept one. Timov and it didn't actually surprise me. Her outspoken, no nonsense nature was a contrast to the scheming other two were obviously doing. "With her, he always knew where he stood." Also she saved his life with a transfusion, on the condition that he never know of her involvement. If only because she did not want to win the battle between her and her husband in such a way.
Great episode😂 I am glad he chose the right lady to stay his wife. If I understand correctly one of the actresses shave her head for this episode.talk about dedication to her craft!I believe it was the actress whom played Timov, but will have to look it up. I think nany were worried he'd choose merial,as she was pretty abd oassionite, from the way he reacted at her arrival. Thankfully he thought things out,was smart.
Yeah I don't use them much anymore. Beginner error. But it takes years to finish all seasons and perhaps I redo some but there is so much nice stuff to make lol.
Loved this episode! Londo's revenge:)
The big man at the end who sells the artifact is a dutch man, he also plays in star trek tng as the aid of Trois mother.
His three wives. Death, Pestilence, Famine. You know what that makes Londo: War.
Yep!
And I suppose that makes G'Kar Death? 🤣
I would say, his dead fiancé .
@@slewone4905 nah, it's by G'kar's hands Londo dies, so it's G'kar
Yeah... Given his role in the events of the story. And G'Kar would be Death.
“A DIVORCE!”
Brilliantly delivered. Shakespeare couldn’t have written it better.
‘State of inebriation I’d wager!’ What a legend!
So this why in Centaury, death will be celebrated with a party, and marriage is a moment of reflection, of sorrow.
Ladies... ladies... please, continue.
"I CAN DO THAT!" SLAP
Centauri husbands evidently have their own versions of wretched fishwives, screaming shrews, and Scothic harpies.
"I AM GETTING, THE DIVORCE!" And now we all know where Helluva boss has that from XD Londo is the OG, no one else XD
Timov is great! Plus she is honest and a good person!

Such a nice gift from the emperor.

4:10 This moment is golden.
Should have included the bit at the end where we learn which wife he chooses.
Good point. I am going to make a remake in the future so i am taking your advice with it.

JMS' brilliant interpretation of KING LEAR?🤣
I loved Londo's sense of humour!

Wait……her voice……is that Mama Weasley!?!!!
Not quite, it is Jane Carr. Mama Weasley was played by Julie Walters.
Did Lando have any kids? it was Never mentioned in the entire show.
No, even in the books they were never mentioned.
@@JK-Visionsdid any of the main characters have any children? I think Sheridan and Delenn had at least one child together .
