Gotta be open minded that “business” don’t just meaning OWNING a business, some people prefer to work in a certain career that falls under the business industry.
It seems like most people here are focused or concerned or even worried on finding a job, but maybe very few are thinking about creating their own business or creating jobs. When we go to university or college, it’s not just to get a job, it’s also to gain the skills to create jobs. With a business degree, you’re equipped with the knowledge to run a business, but many don’t realize this because their main goal when enrolling was to graduate, find a job, and maybe, if they’re ever let go, think about starting a business as a backup plan. Those who succeed in business often made it their first choice, even if they apply to jobs after finishing their degree. They already have that entrepreneurial drive. So don’t panic if job opportunities are limited after graduation. Remember, if there are no jobs, you can create them. It’s entirely possible.

I'll definitely check out the link you left in the bottom. I thought that was interesting as well. Especially because all of the numbers he provided seemed higher for finance. From research I've done, if you are stuck between the two, just think about the type of work you like to do more. Accounting will focus on analyzing numbers from transactions that have already occurred. Finance jobs will be more so about analyzing general business trends and attempting to predict the numbers in the future.

The only difference is that BBA focused more on the managerial side of things, where as pure finance focuses on just finance. It really depends on if you would be interested in a managerial role, but once you get your CFA, they’re pretty similar
@@arslan9665 Thank you for that info. I originally enrolled in school for the finance degree but switched because more of my credits transfered in. I was debating switching back but now with this new info I'll keep my major as is. Thanks again.
Currently can not decide between finance and supply chain (operations and logistics) can someone pitch in?
I'm deciding on changing my major to management information systems with a minor in management, will that be good for gaining internships and jobs?
Only for people who can speak fluently.
I didn't see supply chain management. Is that not a good one?
I'm pretty sure that one was #4
Its in the 4th
@@kristianaia Oh I missed it, thank you!
Where's Economics?
I was thinking the same thing 🥲
Fr
Shane doesn't count Economics as a Business Degree since its too Broad. But according to Business Tier list video he made, he included it. Its above than Supply Chain/Better than everything else, but lower than IS, Finance and Accounting.
