It is fascinating how the behavior of same species varies from place to place. Spotted hyenas of Ngorogoro would have ripped that warthog apart in no time (those clans even bring down adult bull cape buffaloes).

Lone hyenas have taken on large Gnus and successfully killed them, that's a creature up to 3x it's bodyweight. What makes you think 8 cannot kill a lone warthog?
Warthog's or AKA razorbacks are definitely a tuff contender and could easily gut a hyena but I'm surprised the Hyena's didn't test him they had a fresh kill or they definitely would've tried that warthog😉😏
