Oilers have McDavids Junior coach, his agent of 10 years is the GM, and both of his best friends are signed long term. Leon wouldnt have signed 8 years without McDavid saying he's next.

I'm not saying McDavid isn't going to sign, I'm saying that once they sign McDavid they are going to have too much money wrapped up in 2 players and won't be able to stay competitive. They will be exactly like the leafs but honestly maybe even worse. And his agent of 10 years absolutely isn't the GM lol. Stan Bowman is the GM, and from experience he's a terrible GM that loved to hand out max contracts with nmcs that cripple his team. They better hope they win this year or their window is closed.
