- The 90 is pretty much on auto pilot, especially now that I have added a 1.1ml/min dosing pump to the tank for alkalinity. Just more nerding out on the Apex with a little more code for the dosing pump lol.

Hey Mike, thank you for the kind words! I'm hoping the new 150 is way nicer as this poor 90 has definitely seen some struggles.
@@OkieTony haha I hear ya man. I just watched the reveal video and the update you did the other day on the 150. Hell of a setup. It’s funny you said, “I don’t want this to be a high end tank” but you have high end everything lol. I’m in the process of setting of a 125. It’s almost ready to leak test, just need to finish a little plumbing. Looking forward to watching the 150 progress!
Haha, yea. When we started it was not supposed to be this high end, but we just kept thinking back to the issues we have had on the 90 and yea, buy once cry once rather than going through the headache. Spend a little more now and hopefully save a lot later.
Best of luck with your 125. I love the setup and programming lol. I'm already planning my next build where the things on the 90 are likely going to go. More on that a bit down the road.
And yea, the 150 is going to be a fun. Doing another test to see if the Nitrite's have lowered yet. Need to get some fish and get them in quarantine.
@@OkieTony ya quarantine is a must for me. I’ve learned the hard way more than once! Al my fish for the new build have been through quarantine with the exception of a few that are currently in quarantine!
Yea, I have gotten really lucky. The female clown that we have in the 90 is original , however the male is not because when I purchased the female and the original make, they ended up with velvet and we have to QT them. Male didn't make it, but we got them out of the tank before it spread to other fish. Very lucky!
