Infinite warfare had suffered for the time it was released and truly deserved a better chance from fans.

Professor Tdawg is dropping the facts. Infinite Warfare would've been liked if it was the 1st advanced movement COD! Also, dropping COD 4 remastered at the same time doomed it even further. The campaign and zombies were great and the multiplayer is a worse BO3, but still alright. Also, Ethan 😭

The Zombies is honestly iconic. Multiplayer was fun at the time, but I'm glad it's getting more traction lately. Definitely didn't deserve the bad rep
You didn't mention the mission teams that were in multiplayer. They were a great way to progress and they all had very solid rewards.
I played cod since mw2 2009 and iw is easily in my top 5 of all time. The grind was so fun, the mouvements are fluid, the hit detection was awesome, 3 lanes maps like everybody love. When I ask my friends why they hated iw, they are always saying because it was in space and they have literraly no other points. This is one of the rarest cod that I see a real skill gap. Except the space time period. I feel like Infinity ward gave us what every cod fans love. The hate was ridiculous.
I fell in love immediately after playing the trial 🤌
I purchased IW during the latest Steam sale and, despite being moderately optimistic about the game being better than it was percieved as back in the day, I ended up BLOWN away by it. The story was amazingly immersive, more so than many other CoDs. The idea of having your own ship and choosing your missions made me wish they would've expanded this concept further: imagine having Mass Effect style interactions with your crew; and Xcom style mission selection where your whole team can die. In any event, great Campaign. Highly recommend.
This will forever be my favorite call of duty, especially when it comes to the futuristic ones besides, Black ops two zombies, Spaceland and the campaign were second to none

Played IW for the whole year, had a lot of fun & once you mastered the jet pack movement you could be an absolute beast.
The Zombies mode was brilliant too 👌🏾
This is the only COD game I play habitually. The multiplayer experience this holiday season was so fun. There were actual CHRISTMAS NOOBS in this game 2023-2024 and people missed out

Nobody wanted infinite warfare at the time, possibly made even worse by battlefield 1 being the most liked video on youtube at the time. Going back to it many years later, I agree it had one of the best campaigns in the franchise.
I remember playing it as a kid on my uncle’s PlayStation. I actually liked it but deadass completely forgot about it when I got my on console and had bo3 on it. Didn’t really have the money to buy another cod game so eventually I completely forgot about it.
Infinite warfare is a game where they were released at the wrong time and incorrect demand.
the itty bitty treyach, sledge and Activision shall realise they really need to establish a take-turn system of themes like it was 4 years of advanced themes and then replace with modern themes, where each team got 4 years to work on the next porting of the cod engine
You for got the fact that doing all the Easter eggs got you all the perks and you could play as hasselhoff and Willard.. iw low was the goat for the perk thing
I actually love iw, i got it for Christmas of 2016, i fell in love with zombies in spaceland, and i never hated it,
This game was pretty good only thing I disliked was the multiplayer and the in game purchases, shame the game got so much hate
Multiplayer play a huge role in CoD and I think they missed it a bit with iw
IW was competing against big games of that year like bf1 so it was hard for it to do well
They actually do have an interstellar character and camo however you have to buy the operator that has this trait
14:35 thats how it was usually in the past since COD 4 released, we would go from WW2 to the modern era, then we would go from Vietnam or the the cold war then next year to the futuristic era and so on. Thats one of the reasons MWIII failed, because it was a direct sequel to the Game from last year.

Mw3 never failed, and they never disappointed me or casuals who never complained
Just wanna throw in, many zombies UA-camrs lately have started to realize how much they under appreciated the zombies mode in IW when looking back in retrospect and realizing it’s really one of the only good cod zombies we’ve ever received, besides the black ops trilogy

Most creative and smart the devs have ever been with a cod, IW is goated and I'll die on that hill! Waiting for IW2 with the bew engine.
The weapon variants could actually function as brand new *obtainable* weapons unlike in bo3, and there's a ton of them adding infinite replayability to test them in MP and ZM. There's also obtainable scorestreaks variants, so there's a lot to grind in this game, it's bo3 with more rewarding grinds, better movement and hit detection
also the ttk in IW is longer than the average cod, it's not as fast as it feels it's just good hit detection

This was my first jetpack cod I played. I have loved this game since it came out.
IW was severely underrated. The end made alomst me cry.

CoD: Infinite Warfare is still my favorite campaign of the entire franchise since the first Black Ops.

My problems with the operators are the Ballistic Sniper and Steel Dragon because you don’t have to aim on your target to get kills and rewards bad players
IW Was One Of the best cods, I think just because it was released after AW most people didn’t want to play it

BLACK OPS 3 is absolutely, undoubtedly, goated.
We need those sorts of Warzone maps where there is just much vibrance and colour.
I played many CODs but I only managed to complete full campaign only in IW just because I had the most fun out of any COD. And Zombies are one of the best ones.

IW was definitely hated just because of when it was released. I enjoyed the campaign when I first got it and still do. I played the MP, but really despised it because of the sweats jumping around and sliding. Zombies was okay, except for the game was kind of forcing to solve the EEs

I recent found an old Xbox one s lying around in a closet rarely used at my fathers house, I got it set up and got some games for it, one of which was a used copy of infinite warfare legacy edition guess how much it cost?
Hint: lower than the standard edition of normal iw in 2016.
The moment I heard there was a space call of duty I knew I wanted to play it
Not the best but not bad. Still better than the current generation of cod imo. I guess I'm one of the few that always wanted the developers to keep moving forward with the advanced movement and futuristic theme though. I always felt like they could do more with the futuristic theme than modern.

Infinite Warfare was the second to last game to when cod went downhill. just because it doesnt deserve the hate doesn't mean it was amazing. it was a good game and the campaign was a masterpiece but tbh i never liked jetpacks.

Infinite warfare was slept on with a great side game mode zombies then the multiplayer had ALOT of unlocks and GUNS for every match the map packs great too

As someone who was apprehensive at first and never played it when it came out I would 10/10 recommend it
If they were given more time to cook up an original space game, I think they could’ve easily made a good one. What they can’t do is take an idea that someone else already did and expect fans to accept it.
I actually loved the The multiplayer Yes they did copy Black ops 3 but I feel like they fixed a lot of the problems Black ops 3 had like the pay to win system and supply drops at least in infinite warfare you can earn everything through salvage and they balanced the specialist more The specialist in BO3 were very unbalanced in my opinion also I think the jetpacking was much smoother your gun didn't move around when you jumped a lot I don't know I just felt like iw multiplayer hit way different than BO3 and I love both games but it's weird that people praised BO3 when it was a jetpack cod and people hated infinite warfare all because of some dislikes that didn't even show gameplay sad

Infinite warfare was great, although a lot of people didn’t like it because it was getting stale after three years of futuristic Cods , people ready for something different
Compared to right now, which is already 7 years, no one complained about CoD being WW and Modern, and I'm tired of it already, 3 years of sci-fi is not enough
If it wasn’t the third jetpack it would have been better received
If IW got released today, it would be considered the 2nd best COD of all time.

I actually enjoyed Infinite Warfare especially since I could go back and forth with MWR. On the real, I wouldn't have even looked IW's way if it didn't get bundled with MWR. IW was okay at best but BO3 was a better non-boots-on-the-ground COD. IW would have been graded higher if Activision would have made the dev cycle Futuristic combat (Jetpack/Exosuit), Past (boots on the ground) and Present/MW (boots on the ground).
