Yikes dude, you pureed everything. Just pulse it a couple times. I don't own one of these but doesn't that seems like obvious common sense? Plus, if it didn't TASTE good, that's the fault of your recipe (types and amounts of ingredients), which has nothing to do with the chopper itself.

Thanks for the comedy. This is the best chopper that I've ever used you just have to learn how to-do short pulses and not overdo it.

I've had one for a few years - inexpensive - holds up well - and really shines making hummus - it makes good salsa too - but you need a much lighter touch - just a pulse or two - easy does it - also I think the cilantro should always me chopped by hand.

Tom, thanks for your comment. It was more informative than this video. I was wondering how they held up long term, because my old B&D mini is about to die after around 10 yrs and I'm thinking about replacing it with the Ninja. Hummus and chopping small amounts of salsa veggies would be my main use.

You blended everything pal , hence why it turned out like it did. Don't blame the machine , blame the cook :p :D

I have one of the Ninja Master prep professionals , & it's brilliant. The reviewer should have made the salsa in a bigger containter & pulsed NOT blended. Don't blame the machine when you don't read the recipe or instructions

did you wash the ninja before you used it?lol

Looks like the Ninja did what it was designed to do and did it well. I've had two (given to me) of the manual ones that you recommend and both broke within a month or two. Like others have said, maybe you need a new recipe.

If you have to chop things to fit the product then you might as well finish chopping the whole thing for free

Agree with others reviewer doesn't "get" food prep.
Note I just got one -- has FANTASTIC REVIEWS ON AMAZON! (Dying to know if ya can make whip cream in it, still?)

You can in the bigger blenders, so I'd imagine you can in the chopper also. Just don't use liquid in the chopper, as it would leak, & damage the motor +catips111

It would have helped if you had read the booklet instructions first. Then you would have known about doing short burst of power to chop rather than just pureeing the ingredients. You would have had larger chunks for salsa. Just a tip for reviewing future products. Plus I hope you washed your bowl, lid and blade before using it as you never know who handled it and where their hands have been. Thanks for the video it made me laugh...

I trusted everything you said about that chopper, but now I understand why you don't recommend it for making salsa. However, I know what I would use it for. I would use it to chop onion quarters and mince cloves of garlic to make chili.

what Nimrod, he purees all.of the ingredients for a salsa, then bad mouths the product then starts promoting a different blender.

You puréed your ingredients! What did you expect. You also overloaded the chopper and didn't pulse. Why would you not recommend a product when you didn't use it correctly

First he says it *chopped* everything , & he says excellent machine. Then at the end he says no to the Ninja. WTF , it was down to you for ruining your salsa NOT the Ninja

  • @janetroberts2262

It’s a mini chopper, if you didn’t want to chop the veggies smaller you should have got a bigger processor also, the fact the recipe wasn’t good is nothing to do with the food chopper. You went into this like a bull in a china shop and even tried putting the power unit on the bottom of the cup 🤷🏻‍♀️, then you just puréed everything, common sense should tell you not to hold the button down for too long, you have to pulse the food unless you want purree.

  • @leslieslass
    @leslieslass 7 років тому

You pureed , your supposed to pulse, P,U L S E ,Ie keeping your hands off of it consistently. *Reviewer* is terrible NOT the machine
