The Swiss are still successful in off road cycling; it just happens now to be in XC MTB, and not Cross.
Yeah, started back in the 90s with Thomas Frischknecht during the MTB boom. It's kind of a shame imo, I'd love to see what Schurter or Fluckiger could do in cross. It's not like they've got huge commitments during the winter.
